Roleplay- 23rd October

Black Widow jerks slightly as the burrow floor sand stings her wounds but it isn't long before she drifts off to sleep.

Teetsie falls asleep quickly.

Black Widow whimpers in her sleep as her body throbs in pain.

Wilson remains on sentry duty. He feels tired and should rest himself, but not now.

Black Widow adjusts herself several times as she struggles to get comfortable but every way she lays irritates her injuries.

Eztli starts grooming himself for a minute.

ooc: The Midnights are supposed to loose a lot of land over the next weeks or so...

As the group rests, Lithium checks to make sure no predators or rivals sneak up on them. They would have to start moving again soon.

Frustrated with struggling to get an afternoon nap in, Black Widow decides not to take a nap and returns above ground. She grooms some sand from her wounds.

ooc: I'm leaning towards having Black Widow lose her litter because of the stress and hard times the Midnights will face over the next several weeks.

Wilson gets down from his post. He needs to rest now. He plops down near the mouth of the burrow and lays his head down.

Black Widow finishes her self grooming and takes Wilson's place as sentry. She stands up on her hind legs next to the burrow entrance and starts to scan the horizon and sky intently.

Eztli yawns, feeling bored.

Black Widow yawns feeling the onset of drowziness.

Despite his pain, Wilson manages to fall asleep where he is. He's to tired to go inside the burrow.

Black Widow struggles to shake off her exhaustion as she tries to stay focused on gaurd duty.

Eztli watches a distant vulture through narrowed eyes.

Black Widow spots the vulture and watches it with interest as it sores high in the sky off in the distance.

Wilson stays asleep. He's exhausted after a long day, and needs his rest.

Black Widow loses interest in the vulture and looks off towards the east as she resumes her gaurd duty.

Eztli turns away from the vulture. It wasn't a threat and didn't need to be watched.

Black Widows tilts forward on her legs as she starts to give in to her exhaustion

Eztli looks at Black Widow and decides to keep to his post.

Black Widow jerks herself awake as she realizes that she's starting to fall asleep. She's tired but isn't yet ready to head below ground for the night. She straightens her posture and continues gaurd duty.

Wilson wakes up, only to feel more sore than before. He grunts as he gets up and starts sniffing around for a late snack. Maybe some food will do him good.

Black Widow looks up at the sky as she catches site of the rising red colored moon. A wicked smile spreads across her face. The red coloring just makes her crave even more for the vengeful taste of the blood of the rival mobs the Midnights have lost against over the past week.
