Roleplay - 29th of October

Latika follows, but is nervous.

Black Widow crosses over with a sinister smirk on her face.

Teetsie barks, announcing their presence.

Wilson follows, his energy and confidence returning. If it wasn't for the situation they're in, he would be loving these back to back battles. If only they had won...

Duke eats a beetle, still unaware of the approaching Midnights.

Black Widow chatters sinisterly. She's feeling confident now and is feeling up to another battle. Despite their recent bad luck, she starts to believe that maybe this battle will go to the Midnights.

Duke eats a beetle and feels he's had enough for now. He returns to sentry duty on the log next to Aliya.

Wilson looks ahead. Where are the rivals?

Black Widow observes the Jumaa's land with her eyes narrowed. The air is drenched in their scent but there's no sign of them so far.

Unaware of the danger just on the other side of Jumaa territory, Ninja and Mischka are happily gorging themselves on tortoise eggs. They've already finished most of the eggs but there's one left. Both males are feeling belly bustingly full and aren't in hurry to finish it off.

Ninja looks to Mischka with an egg yolked covered serious facial expression. He peeps. They should get back to the burrow.

Mischka can't help but let a giggle slip out of his mouth at Ninja's egg yolk covered face but then turns to looking serious and nods in agreement. They've spent too much time leaving the burrow ungaurded and must get back immdiately.

Eztli looks around, starting to feel excited.

Aliya smiles at Duke, unaware of the threat coming towards her family.

Emzio awakens and sits on her haunches, looking around.

Little Boy goes over to Suri and grooms his sister.

Suri smiles at Little Boy and grooms him back. She loved her brother so much.

Duke grooms Aliya as they relax during this peaceful time of day. The Midnights are about to bring an end to their peace, and he doesn't know a thing about it.

Wilson walks along, eager to see the blood of their enemy spilled.

Black Widow flexes her claws, digging them into the sand aggressively with each step she takes. She's itching to draw enemy blood.

Ninja is first to make it back to the burrow and immediately heads below to check on the pups. They're long time away from the burrow could've given a predator the chance to slip into the burrow to kill the pups. As he arrives at the pup chamber, he's relieved to see that they're safe. He pads over to them and gives each of them a gentle nurturing nuzzle.

Mischka makes it to the burrow a few minutes later and sits in front of the burrow entrance to stand gaurd. He looks down at the burrow entrance hoping they're time away from the burrow didn't result in a pup being killed.

Duke gets back to sentry and keeps a firm eye on the landscape.

Wilson stands to get a getter view. He still can't see them.

Conker churrs and presses his cheek against Ninja's as he recieved a nuzzle.

Satisfied that the pups are safe, Ninja returns above ground and sits next to Mischka. He starts to groom egg and sand from his paws.

Mischka makes a quick glance at Ninja then returns his attention to the horizon. Both males' bellies are swollen, filled with their delicious egg yolk prize and the presence of egg yolk is still noticable around their mouths.

Cactus chirped and tried to nuzzle Ninja back, but it was hard since Cactus still had his eyes closed. He tripped and fell onto Conker. Cactus churred in amusement. He is unaware of the Midnights approaching, endangering him and his brother and sister's lives.

Wilson sniffs the air. Maybe if they were to find the burrow and perform some murderous deeds if they have pups, they won't even need to fight the entire mob.

Black Widow sniffs at the ground. She doesn't smell a scent trail left by the Jumaa but can smell that the group were in this area recently, maybe a few days ago. She looks up and scans the landscape. Perhaps their main burrow is close by. She smirks at the thought. If so then maybe they should investigate to see if they have any pups they can murder.

Duke enjoys the landscape as he is on sentry duty. He has good respect for the land they own.

Conker squeaks as Cactus landed on him. He wiggles about trying to crawl from under him. He is also unaware of the potential danger of the Midnights possibly planning to make a raid on the burrow.

Duke watches any areas someone may try to hide out in. Rovers and deadly predators could be waiting in there.

Above ground, Ninja and Mischka catch up on some grooming, cleaning off the sand and egg material from each other's fur. Ninja makes occassional brief glances to check for danger but seeing that there isn't any, turns his full attention on getting cleaned up.

ooc- Meerkats, when were you planning on having Aliya mate again?

ic- Wilson scans the ground, ever alert for any signs that they are near.

Duke watches the skies, looking for any meerkat eating bird of prey.

Ninja and Mischka finish up their grooming session and both resume keeping watch for predators and rival gangs, unknown to them, there's a rival group just on the other side of Jumaa territory looking to shed blood and expand their land.

ooc: I wasn't sure, did you want them to now, or over the skip? I know now is probably the worst time.

bic: Aliya smiles and grooms Duke back.

Suri and Littleboy keep grooming eachother.

Teetsie barks and begins to wardance.

Black Widow chatters menicingly and follows Teetsie in a wardance. Her heart is pounding and adrenaline is surging through her body as she prepares herself to go to war.

ooc- I know now's not a good time, but maybe in the near future.

ic- Wilson eagerly follows in the wardance.

Duke looks to the south. He thought he saw something.
