Roleplay - 29th of October

Wilson crosses back into Midnight's land.

Duke looks around. He feels it's partially his fault for leading them into a defensive battle instead of fleeing.

Ninja jumps at a sudden sound. Now a lone babysitter, he's feeling a little nervous. An oppertunistic predator or rival group could easily take the advantage of this solo gaurdian and if the predator has company, it could kill him and the pups.

Aliya looks at Duke and chrrs. It wasn't his fault. He didn't know this would happen. The only soul to blame was the one who took his life away.

Suri nods, even though she has no idea who's responsible for her brother's death and just wants to know.

Emzio buries her head in her paws. She's too young to understand that this is a way of life and is thus also struck by greif.

Duke grooms Aliya. She's right. They all might starve to death anyway if they didn't protect their land. He looks on, hoping no deaths will occure if they meet again.

Conker squeals loudly in hunger. He's starving and wants to eat soon.

Ninja perks up when he hears conker's cries. He hurries into the burrow to check on the pups, thinking that they may be in danger. Once he reaches the pup chamber, he's relieved to see that they are safe and finds out that their cries are only because they are hungry.

Aliya grooms Duke back. They could only hope that no more deaths occur any time soon.

Suri rests her head on her paws and looks up at the sky in a daze.

Mischka nuzzles the female then rests his head back on the top of her head. He won't mate with her until she lets him know she's ready but even if she does, he feels he shouldn't mate with her. She's already struggling to keep herself alive and the last thing she needs is to get pregnant.

The female nuzzles Mischka back on his chest. She has no interest in wanting to mate especially since she is in a dire position.

Cactus peeped, feeling hungry and hoping that his mother, Aliya, will be back soon.

Ninja crawls into the pup chamber and lays down next to them. He sighs wishing he could provide them with food but knows he can't. They'll just have to wait until Aliya returns to feed.

Conker's hunger wails quiet down slightly as he feels warmth around his face. He nestles into Ninja's belly feeling for where to suckle.

Duke continues to groom Aliya. Now he knows they must stick together and be careful around their neighbors. He won't let another death occure.

Mischka makes another glance in the direction that leads back to the burrow. He really should be thinking about heading back home soon. He expects Ninja to be ticked at him for being irresponsible and will most likely sink his claws and fangs into his neck when he returns. But he expects an even worse repremand if he happens to return to the burrow after the rest of the group has.

The female looks up at Mischka and tilits her head noticing Mischka is looking concerned about something. She peeps softly asking him what was the matter.

Cactus crawled over his brother to get to Ninja's warm body.

Conker squeaks then resumes trying to find where to suckle.

Ninja curls his body around the pups to keep them warm. He giggles, slightly ticklish to Conker nibbling on his stomach.

Dahoma was tired. all he wanted to do was fall asleep and shut out the horrors from today.

Kamaria watched the sun slowly begin to set.

Mischka looks up at the sky. It's getting late, he should be getting home. He nudges the female and chirps letting her know he must head for home. He had abandoned his babysitting responsibilities and if his mob discover him gone, he could get punished for shirking off his responsibility. He looks her in the eyes and whimpers, reluctant to want to leave her but he has to.

The female groans in protest. She doesn't want him leave! She bites his ear and pulls him towards her begging him to stay with her for a while. She could really use the warm comfort and his help with foraging.

Mischka sighs. She's a female who COULD really use his support to be able to survive but even with his help she still doesn't stand much of a chance for survival. He lowers his head as he suddenly remembers Amy. He and Ninja had done their best to try to keep her safe and healthy but failed. He looks at the female then back in the direction that leads to the burrow. Should he stay with her or return to his babysitting responsibilities before the Jumaa return to find him gone?

Aliya sighs and makes lead calls, heading for home.

Emzio follows, saddened.

Suri follows at a slow pace, grief stricken.

Duke follows, looking back. The Midnight's attack, though effective with the loss of Littleboy, has done little to weaken his resolve. If they meat again, he'll make sure they get the message not to come back.

Ninja watches the sun begin to set then looks off into the distance and growls. It's getting late and Mischka still isn't back from his female finding mission. He snorts then smirks. He'll be sorry if the Jumaa find out that he abandoned his babysitting duties.

Duke heads to the front and walks alongside Aliya. Hopefully the babysitters are handling the pups okay. Hopefully they didn't get in the way of the intruding Midnights.

Ninja looks up at the sky and smiles. The color of the sky in the evening is beautiful to look at and he finds himself not be able to take his eyes off it.

Kamaria follows, keeping her head low.

Dahoma follows, not wanting to be kept in the back.

Once she reaches the burrow, Aliya goes below ground to check on her pups, hoping they might lighten up her day.

Suri stays at the burrow entrance and watches the sun slowly set.

Emzio sits by Suri, feeling sorry for her.

Duke heads towards the burrow check on the pups, but he stops when he notices some new bite marks on Ninja when he passes him. He chirps to Ninja, curious. He's assumed Mischka is underground.

Aliya reaches her pups and allows them to feed from her.

Ninja peeps a greeting to the returning Jumaa members. As he is confronted by Duke, Ninja peeps explaining that his wounds were recieved by the Willows rover Bravo. He and Mischka had caught him slipping into the burrow but he was forced to shelter with them in the burrow when a predator appeared. They chased him off when the predator left. Ninja then looks down at his feet and shakes his head. It's too late for Mischka to avoid punishment now so when he returns home he'll have to face the music. Ninja barks to Duke, showing anger and disappointment in his eyes. Mischka had abandoned his responsibility to chase after females.

Conker wails hungry. He can smell the strong scent of the Willows and cries out hoping some one will hear his demands of wanting to be fed. Suddenly Conker feels something warm in front of him and begins suckle.
