Tamiya smiled at Fly. She just seemed like another littermate now.

Ninja takes Cactus into the safty of the burrow. If that martial eagle is still in the area, he's better off safe if he's out of its sight especially now that he's injured. A weakend pup would make an easy meal for a predator if spotted above ground.

Conker follows Ninja into the burrow, shaken up after what happened. He also lost his apetite for adventure at the moment and wants to stick to the safty of the burrow and caregiver.

ooc: An eagle? 0_o When did that happen?

ooc: Meerkats193 can't remember the numbers XD had Cactus attacked in one post, I think a page back. Cactus had wandered away from the burrow and was picked up then dropped by the martail eagle and then was attacked.

Aliya looks around, staying near Duke.

Suri pulls up a millepede and eats it quickly.

Emzio paws at the ground, bored.

Ninja leads the pups to the deepest part of the burrow for protection from the martial eagle that could still be in area then he curls his body around Cactus. He begins cleaning off the blood from his injury and sanitizing the wound.

Conker clings to Ninja terrified from the predator scare then he looks at Cactus worried for his well being. Will he be alright?

ooc- Isn't Kamaria also babysitting?

ic- Duke climbs up onto a tree stump and begins sentry duty.

ooc- Also, when did you say you wanted Aliya to mate again? I forgot what you said and can't find the post.

ooc: Oh yeah. I forgot she wasXD

Ninja looks up at Kamaria relieved that now all of the pups are safe in their paws.

Conker hugs Ninja still frightened.

Ninja turns his head to nuzzle Conker soothingly. He churrs letting him know the scary sharp clawed bird won't get him or his siblings in here.

Conker calms down feeling reassured. His big rounded eyes return to having that happy sparkle glistening in his pupils.

Duke scans the ground with extra care. Wet season has started, and he knows from experiance on both ends that roving is in it's prime.

Ninja looks into the tunnel leading up to the burrow entrance debating on whether he should go up and check to see if the martial had left. He gets up and begins making his way towards the burrow entrance.

Conker leans against Cactus caringly offering him some comfort.

ooc: Maybe Aliya and Duke should wait a little bit more to mate... just to space out births more.

ooc- Dominic and Running star mated again less than a week after Running Star gave birth. It's up to Meerkats and I.

ooc: Yeah that's true. I also think it should up to the rper of a dominant to decide when the dominants decide to mate.

ooc: I'm not sure... Should we have them mate over the next skip?

ooc- If you want to, sure.

ic- Duke takes a moment to check the skies, as predators are ever looking for prey.

Ninja emerges from the bolt hole but only half way. He wants to be prepared to act and leap back into shelter ASAP if the martial eagle is seen still hanging around here. He looks to the right, left, at the surrounding trees and vegetation then at the sky thoroughly. He doesn't see the martial eage any where and sighs in relief. Still wanting to tend to the pups, Ninja heads back below ground.

Conker peeps wanting Ninja to come back.

Aliya looks around warily, also deciding to stand sentry.

Emzio looks around, but doesn't find anything of interest yet.

Suri eats a scorpion.

Fly emerges slowly, smiling.

Ninja returns to the pup chamber and pulls the pups over to him for a snuggle and to engage them in a bit of playfighting. He turns his head and chuckles as Conker nibbles playfully at his chin. He's unaware that his favorite lady, Linda, had commited attempted murder on a litter of pups and is now being dealt a potentially fatal punishment for her act in the Willows mob.

Duke looks around in the sky and on the ground. Predators and rovers can appear at any time, and they need to be spotted as soon as possible.

Ninja gently nibbles Conker back. Dispite being 2 years old, his pup tendencies still seem to come to the surface. He rolls onto his side, giving the pups permission to climb all over him.

Conker squeals cheerfully and crawls onto Ninja's side. He sits down briefly placing his butt on Ninja's faceXD

ooc: Sorry. I was just suggesting -_-

Ninja shifts his head, disgusted about Conker's butt being against his cheek but allows the pup to continue to crawl on him.

Conker gets up and wobbles trying to stay balanced on Ninja's side. He carefully turns around then bats playfully at Ninja's cheek.

ooc- No hard feelings. I didn't mean it in a harsh way, just making a point.

ic- Duke gets down from his sentry post and resumes foraging.
