Elena searches the vegetation. Eventually, she spots Shirley and races over, asking what's wrong.

May Follows Elena And Sees Young Shirley She Lies Down next To Her Grooming Her And Then Asking Whats Wrong ?

Hearing thunder rumble in the ever darkening sky, Josephine flattened herself to the sand in fright and lay quaking with fear. Looking up at the clouds she took several deep breaths before having enough courage to press forwards. She’d need to find somewhere safe to spend the night..but where was ‘safe’ without the security of Lancaster or the large Willows family.
Saddened, she hoped luck was on her side and that she would hopefully come across an unused bolt hole, if it wasn’t sheltering out in the open or with the enemy would have to suffice.

Hearing the same thunder crash, Morning Glory stood up on her hind legs and sniffed the air. With a lot of pups back at the burrow that needed their mothers support, being caught out in a heavy rain storm wasn’t an option she was prepared to take. Sounding a contact call, Morning Glory moved though the foraging party and headed back towards the burrow.

Hearing the unfamiliar sound, Sanders looked around before dashing away to huddle close to the nearest adult.

May Saw Shirley Was Ok And Went Back To The Burrow She Stood On Her Hind Leg Looking For Morning Glory And The Group . She Headed Out To Look And Finally Found Them She Collected Up Sanders And Scooted Him Inbetween her Legs She Nuzzled Him Along Trying To Get Him Back To The Burrow .

Sanders followed obediently looking over his shoulder occasionally for the sound of his adoptive mother’s contact calls or the unusual crash from the dark clouds.

May Smiled And Kept Pace With Sanders

Karma follows Elena and May over to a bush where she discovers Shirley. A sense of relief flows through her system, glad to see Shirley is unharmed. Suddenly a loud clap of thunder reverberates through the air, startling Karma. She stands up on her hind legs to survey the sky. She can see cumulonimbus clouds gathering in the distance. Karma's maternal instincts suddenly kick in, knowing that her infants must be frightened of this new experiance, so she hurries back to the burrow so she can console her pups.

Horrendous got out from a borrow slowly and he then fell down he was still tired nobody could change old lazy Horrendous.

Karma arrives at the burrow and notices that Horrendous is only just surfacing. She greets him with an amiable smile, but doesn't question his late appearance. She assumes he just likes to sleep in very late. She descends into burrow to check on her pups.

Elena returns as well and spots Horrendous emerge very late. She nods and sits at the entrance.

Karma navigates through the tunnel complex, eventually reaching the chamber where her pups are. It appears they haven't been frightened by the thunder yet. She enters the chamber and lays down beside her pups to cuddle with them.

Nashita and Boomslang also haven't heard the thunder clap as they are both engrossed in exploring 2 different parts of their burrow home.

Pamela follows Morning Glory quickly.

Jia and Enkozi are still asleep.

Amani is awoken by the sound of thunder. Blind and confused, she starts to shudder.

Karma curls her body around her pups, encasing them in her warm, soft fur. She can sense their fear and begins to groom them to calm them

Boomslang tilts his head at the strange rumbling sound. He was rather curious than scared. What was that weird noise? He will eventually learn that it's called thunder, which is generated by another phenomenon called lightning.

Nashita squeaks in fright, startled by the sound. She emits frightened vocalizations, wanting the comfort of her mother.

Amani calms down when Karma comforts her.

Pamela keeps running, wanting to get home as soon as possible.

Karma nuzzles each of her pups while emitting low toned chirrs to try to soothe them. She looks up at the burrow ceiling as another loud clap of thunder causes the ground to vibrate.

Boomslang has his mouth gaped open in excitement.

Nashita yips and retreats into the chamber where her siblings are and cuddles up to them for comfort, trembling in fear.

Puzzle hears some thunder rumbling, and looks up at the sky anxiously. He hates storms.

May Hears Nashitas Calls And heads Below Ground She Curls Her Body Around Nashita Trying To Comfort Her .

Blazer squeaks. What was tht liud crashing sound coming from above?

Sherri squealed in terror, and Skyler was by her side in an instant, cooing to her, trying to comfort her.

Elena flinches slightly at the sound of another clash of lighning. They're nothing new to her, but it still scares her a little. What may be the first of many raindrops falls nearby.

May hears Crashes Of Lightning So Goes Above Ground She Spots Elena And Tells her To Go Into The Burrow .

Elena stays outside. She'll remain above ground until the others return.
