May Barks At The Youngster To Get Inside .

Elena looks at May and stays above ground. However, a loud and close lightning strike spooks her, and she's persuaded to finally come in.

ooc- Also, I got onto my site, and you can have a DM as long as you follow the rules Tosca. I know there's a lot of rules. I never fully cleaned up after a certain someone left over a year ago.

Karma cuddles her pups close to her, her green orbs fixed on the ceiling. She cringes as another thunder clap vibrates the ground beneath them. She grooms her frightened infants again to comfort them. She is relieved when she hears the pitter patter of paws in the burrow. It sounds like the foraging party have made back home safely, which sends a sense of relief through Karma's system.

Nashita skitters over to May when she sees her and presses her face against her belly, scared. She doesn't like the frightning sounding rumbling noises emitting from above. She squeaks when May heads back above ground, not wanting to be alone at a time like this.

Boomslang jumps slightly at the loud explosion of thunder but it doesn't faze him. It actually makes him more intrigued.

May Heads Back below Ground And Cuddles Nashita . She Pushes Nashita Into Her Fur And Wraps Her Body Around Her .

Nashita gradually regains her composure as May cuddles her. She hides her face in her fur trying to muffle the scary sounds of the thunder storm.

May Comforts Nashita BY Grooming Her Tiny Head , She Jumps At The Lightning And Smells Burning . She Runs Above Ground And Sees A Clump Of Grass On Fire , She Sounds Long And Loud Alarm Calls .

Nashita also jolts at the loud crackle generated by the lightning. She squeals as May leaves her side again but her vocalization is stopped abruptly when the smell of something burning enters her tiny nostrils. She whimpers terrified of this new smell. It doesn't smell right... she senses danger.

Karma sits up after hearing the loud lightning crackle. Holy scorpions! That must've been quite close! She sniffs at the air in the burrow as she begins to smell something burning, and as a loud alarm call is sounded soon afterwards, he heart begins to race. This can't be happening again! No, not now!

Boomslang cringes at the loud crash of lightning. His excitement soon turns to horror as he also begins to smell something burning. Wh...what is that?

May Knows This is Danger So Sounds An even Louder Alarm Call , She Stands On her Hind Legs And Looks Around She Sees A Tree Crash Down In The Distance . May Is Now Intoxicated With Smoke , She Starts Feeling Dizzy And Topples To The Group Unconscious .

Elena sniffs teh air and peeks her head out of the burrow, seeing the bright flames. She shrieks and heads back into the burrow in a state of panic. What do they do?

Karma steps out of her chamber while sniffing at the air in the tunnel. The burning smell is getting more pungent. Suddenly, a flash back comes to Karma. Back when she resided in the Zita mob, a lightning bolt from a severe thunderstorm ignited a fire in their territory that insinerated most of their land, including their burrow which had the dominant female's pups inside. She and the rest of the group tried desperately to save the pups but, tragically, they all perished in the fire. Karma snaps out her flash back with her heart beating rapidly. It seems history could repeat itself...

Nashita whimpers and heads further into the burrow tunnel, territifed.

Boomslang stands frozen in fear, his extremities trembling and pulse rapid. He doesn't know what's transpiring but his instincts are telling him something is terribly wrong. If they don't get out of the burrow posthaste, there could be dire consequences.

ooc- I changed Elena's age back to 1 year.

ic- Elena enters the chamber with the pups and barks frantically to them. There's fire outside!

Karma gasps in horror. She can't believe this is happening again. Determined not to let this wild fire claim any young lives, she hurries back to her chamber to gather her pups. If the wild fire threatens to consume the burrow, she's poised to move her pups to safty but she'll need help to do so. Not only will her pups be in danger but Leaf, Bahiya and Morning Glory's litters will all be in peril as well. With so many pups to evacuate if the time comes, there's a risk that the group may not have enough time to get every pup to safty.

Boomslang's eyes widen, not liking the sound of the word "fire". F-fire? Wh-wh-what is that? Hearing the pronunciation of the word sends a sense of horror through his system.

Nashita wails, panic striken. What the hell's going on!?

Elena helps Karma move all of the pups to the back. Maybe they should dig a vent to keep the burrow evironment at safe levels.

Karma nods and begins to dig a vent in the chamber floor. She peeps, recommending they should do the same in Morning Glory's, Bahiya's and Leaf's chambers. Perhaps they should dig a few vents in the burrow tunnel floor as well to use as fresh air pockets when the lung irritating smoke drifts over them.

Boomslang peeps in surprise when he sees smoke fill the burrow tunnel. He coughs as he inhales some of the smoke, which causes his sensitive nasal cavity, throat and lungs to feel as though they're on fire.

Nashita also begins to cough in the choking cloud of smoke. It burns and she can't breathe!

May Still Lies Unconscious Above Ground , Unaware a lot of Young Lifes Are In Danger .

Karma moves her pups into the deep hole she dug to get them out of the suffocating smoke's level. She enters Bahiya's chamber and begins digging a vent in the ground for them.

Nashita races into the chamber where Bahiya is and clings to her, frightened.

Boomslang wanders through the burrow tunnel making distress calls. He can't see anyone through the thick smoke and it's causing him to panic.

Elena starts digging a vent for Morning Glory's pups.

Nashita watches curiously as Karma digs a hole in the floor of Bahiya's chamber. She doesn't understand what she's doing but she puts her trust in the adults assuming they know what to do to keep her and the other pups safe.

Karma finishes digging the vent and moves Bahiya's litter into it including Nashita whom is one of Morning Glory's pups.

Boomslang increases the volume of his distress calls. He's disoriented and can't see where his mother Bahiya's chamber is.

Elena finishes and huddles Morning Glory's pups inside. She looks around, wondering where May is. She peeks above ground and spots May limp on the ground. Elena gasps and rushes out, coughing at the smoke. She grabs May by the neck and tries to pull her inside, but the larger female is proving difficult to pull.

ooc: oops I just realized that I got Boomslang's mother confusedXD

Boomslang continues his distress calls hoping his mother Bahiya will hear him and come to his rescue...or anyone else for that matter. He sticks to walking against the burrow wall as a support when he's walking through the smoke clouded tunnel.

Karma hurries to Leaf's chamber and begins digging a vent for her pups. She's unaware that Boomslang is in distress in the burrow tunnel and May is unconcious above ground.

Nashita stays low in the vent. She looks at the pups beside her realizing they aren't her siblings but stays put not wanting to risk suffacation in the blinding chocking smoke cloud if she chooses to look for her mother and siblings.
