Roleplay- 25th of November

Elena manages to drag May back inside. She pulls her as far in as she can to where the pups are to keep her clear from the smoke.

Karma finishes digging the vent and moves Leaf's pups into it. She briefly grooms each pup to keep them calm.

Boomslang stops his distress calls when he hears the sound of footsteps close by. He squeaks hoping an adult is near by to find him and comfort him.

May Slowly Wakes Up And Starts Coughing She Realises Whats Happens And Instigates A Burrow Move . She Picks Up Boomslang And Runs Above Ground She Sees A Bolt Hole And Drops Him In There She Waits For Elena And Karma To Bring The Other Pups .

Boomslang squeaks as he's picked up by May, but is relieved that he was rescued from that choking cloud of smoke. Due to inhaling smoke for several moments, his throat and lungs are burning, but the exposure wasn't long enough to inflict permanent damage to those fragile parts of his body. As he's placed down at a bolt hole, Boomslang looks around confused, not knowing what's going on.

Karma is unaware of May instigating a burrow move and is still comforting Leaf's pups.

Nashita gasps as she sees the smoke seeping into Bahiya's pups' chamber.

Elena sees May try to move the pups out and barks. What is she doing?!

May Tells Her They Have TO! The Pups Will Die If They Dont !

Boomslang squeaks, terrified about being left alone at the bolt hole. W-wait! Where are you going?! D-don't leave me!

Karma steps out of Leaf's chamber and makes quick stops at Morning Glory's Bahiya's and her chamber to check on the pups briefly. They all appear to be safe and out of the path of the choking smoke. She's still oblivious to May moving the pups.

May Moves Nashita Next She Grabs Her And Drops her In The Bolt Hole Next To Boomslang

Nashita gasps as May picks her up. Panic flows through her tiny body, she has no idea what's going on and it's terrifying her. As she's placed at the bolt hole where Boomslang is, she looks at him confused.

Boomslang's eyes widen in shock as Nashita is placed down next to him. He looks at her also confused about what the adults are doing.

Karma meets up with Elena in the burrow tunnel. She notices that she's panic stricken and widens her eyes fearing something bad had occured.

Elena barks to Karma. May is moving the pups out of the burrow.

May Lies With Nashita And Boomslang .

Karma gasps in shock. Is she insane?! Instigating a burrow move is very risky and dangerous. They still don't know yet if it's necessary. By individually evacuating each pup to the bolt hole, May puts them at an increased risk of being dispatched by a predator at any given moment!

Boomslang and Nashita look around wondering where the rest of the pups and adults are. They exchange looks of bewilderment before simultaneously making eye contact with May.

Jia, Amani and Enkozi are below ground, unaware of the fire up above.

Pamela sees smoke in the distance, where the burrow is. In shock, she runs towards the burrow, wanting to help the babysitters in whatever way she can.

Seeing smoke in the near distance, Morning Glory stood on her hind legs and smelt the air. Worried for the safety of the family she dropped onto all fours and bolted as fast as she could back to the burrow.

Having followed May, Sanders sat outside the bolt hole fumbling with his tail. At the sound of another crash of thunder and the feel of spots of rain on his fuzzy fur, he rolled onto his side in fright before dashed underground.

Jet lay alone and quiet, fearing the loud noises of the thunder and lightning.

Trying to keep her pups calm, Leaf watches the activity of the other babysitters with interest not knowing about the potential danger that the whole burrow is faced with.

Having been searching for a bolt hole and coming up empty handed, Josephine sat out under a bush watching the lightning flicker across the sky. At the sight of a fork making contact with the ground with a very loud bang, she had jumped out of her skin and fled into the grass heading back into the direction of the Tiny Kats burrow.

ooc: Anyone have any plot ideas? Will the fire be significant enough to damage part of the TK's territory that causes them to migrate off into a neighbouring area until a few months into the wet season to allow the plants to regrow? Should the group try and evacuate the pups and end up splitting for a while? Any suggestions?

occ: End Up Splitting . May has Put Nashita And Boomslang in A Bolt Hole And Sanders Followed , So if Some Adults Followed May And That Could Cause A Group Split Cause The Bolt Hole Is Quite Far Away From The Main Burrow .

ooc: I've changed part of my post so Sanders is at the bolt hole where May put them.

occ: Thanks is Sanders Pup ? Teenager ? Adult ?

ooc: He's a pup, just over two months old. All the ages of charcters under a year can be found on the first post of the RP day for every group. We should really have a list with how old all the characters are but that's for another day when I'm not data collecting names and ID codes.

occ: OK

ooc- Weren't we planning a group split anyway? Elena will follow Karma wherever she goes. Karma's Elena's role model and best friend.

ic- Elena looks to Karma, unsure how to react if May comes for more pups.

ooc: Not a problem, I can go with a group split. We'd have to be clear about which adult has which pup and which half they are following. If May's bolt hole is far away from the burrow then very few journey's can be made back and forth. I'll bring Josephine back towards the group and help evacuate.

ooc- We would need more adults in the splinter. I would say everyone back at the burrow should join the splinter, but it seems most of the active characters are at the burrow.

ooc: For the non active adults we could just have them go with somebody's character who is active. Eg. Nimbus would likely follow Antebellum and could potentially take a pup who's owner is currently away like Dipsy's or ATB's. Then both characters are safe and not needed to be worried about. I would imagine MG's half is going to be the smaller of the two.

ooc- Yeah, but my concern is there won't be enough active characters in the main group, and they'll be inactive.

ooc: We could temporarily adopt the characters that are missing if it becomes too inactive or send them all to MG's half of the group and I'll RP the group moving together if necessary until the members return.
