Roleplay- 25th of November

Leaf looked at the last of the members sat around the burrow before retiring back underground to check on the pups.

Not wanting to miss out on any other exciting activity, Sanders bounded after Chester Quavers trying to keep up with the adults.

ooc: I don't see why not Stormy.

ooc- Weren't the Midnights supposed to win though? Besides, the fight won't happen for another three rp days, including this one.

ic- Elena follows the group, staying towards the front.

Karma follows in the middle of the group. She needs to eat so she can supply her pups with milk. She's also oblivious to the dark clouds forming in the distant sky. She looks over her shoulder hoping someone will stay behind to watch the pups.

ooc- I think I might have Elena stay behind again, not sure. It would help with the plot.

ooc: Alright.

ooc: I thought that the fight was to happen today... dammit. We haven't had a group fight in a while.

ooc- Linda's pups need to be born first before the Midnights have anyone to kill and lure the Jumaas over. I also don't want the day of birth to end in tragedy either, so the next rp day after birth is best.

Pamela follows quickly.

Jia, Amani and Enkozi are in the burrow, asleep.

Jupiter decides to volunteer with babysitting today. She didn't really feel the need to forge today. She stays behind as the group began to leave. She goes to the entrance of the burrow, standing on her hind legs and looks around for any predators.

Jet lay in the burrow snoozing softly along side his siblings.

Below ground, both Nashita and Boomslang are learning how to stand up on all 4s, but it's proving to be challenging for both of them. As they conquer pushing themselves up in a straight position, they lose balance and collapse to the burrow floor, not used to supporting their entire weight on their miniscule extremities.

Boomslang, however, appears to be rapidly improving and has just mastered the ability to keep himself supported on all 4s for more than a couple minutes. Still not able to see clearly from his recently opened eyes, however, as he ambulates, he struggles to see where he's going and has a couple gentle collisions with the burrow wall.

Nashita endeavors to stay up on all 4s but so far it's been to no avail. She collapses to the floor again, emitting a grunt of frustration. She knows she'll succeed eventually, she just... has to keep practicing.

Jupiter goes inside the burrow to check on the pups. She noticed some were attempting to stand and walk. She smiles softly at this and goes back up to the entrance, assuming watching out for any predators or anything that could be a threat to the pups.

Karma notices that Jupiter has volunteered to stay behind and babysit. She trusts her to keep her litter, Bahiya's litter and Morning Glory's litter safe. She knows that the 3 litters have been placed in reliable and trusted paws.

ooc- What about Leaf's pups? There should be at least one other babysitter, and I'm not sure is I want Elena to go again or not. It should be someone that didn't go last time.

ic- Elena follows the group up towards the front.

ooc: Leaf is at the burrow with her pups. Although I wouldn't always say they are in safe paws, she's not the best of mothers. lol.

ooc: I don't think Leaf gave birth yet...did sheO.o I forgetXD Oh ok so she did. I couldn't remember if she did or didn't lol.

With 3 litters to look after, Karma realizes that the group will need more than just Jupiter to care for the pups. She looks around wondering who else will stay behind to babysit. If no one else volunteers, she'll gladly offer her assistance in watching over the pups. Missing another day of foraging won't do any harm, she'll just go foraging tomorrow. Or may even just forage around the burrow for today.

Below ground, Leaf snuggles up warm alongside Emerald, Enkozi and Aruna. Gently licking the top of one of their heads she smiled to herself. She would do her best this time to ensure that all of her pups stayed together and knew who their mother was.

Out in the scrubland, Sanders squeaked at a long trail of ants that were hurrying past and he tried desperately swatting them with his paw.

Stopping for a short rest, Morning Glory called to the rest of the family letting them know they could forage before padding over to admire Stratus.

Alethia decides she's going to stay and help babysit today. There are a lot of pups at the moment so the babysitters will need all the help they can get. Seeing that Alethia is staying, Puzzle also decides to stay as he's not quite confident enough to go anywhere without his half-sister... so for the time being, wherever Alethia goes, Puzzle will never be far behind.

Elena sees Karma head back and follows. She was largely reluctant to babysit because Karma wouldn't be there, and she trusts Karma the most. But since Karma will babysit, she'll go too. They can never have too many babysitters.

Alethia decides to pop below ground quickly to check on the pups. Puzzle notices Elena and peeps in greeting.

Elena arrives a peeps a greeting back. She starts to forage for breakfast.

Puzzle begins to groom himself. Alethia exits the burrow and decides to keep watch for danger. A nearby bush proves to be a good vantage point, even if it is rather difficult to climb. Balancing herself rather precariously on top of the shaky branches, Alethia scans their surroundings.

Karma arrives at the burrow and takes her position at the side of the burrow entrance, standing tall on her hind legs. She's decided to become the 5th volunteer babysitter, and it assures her that with this many caregivers staying behind to watch the pups, it'll make things alot easier when it comes to gaurding, feeding, and entertaining them.

Jupiter was relieved to see some of the others came to help with babysitting. She wasn't exactly confident in her abilities alone, but with some of the others nearby, she felt a bit more confident in herself and assumes keeping watch for any threats.

Pamela begins digging for food.

Enkozi chrrs to Leaf when she licked his head.

Amani is asleep.

Jia looks around, but being in total darkness, she can't see anything.
