Roleplay- 25th of November

Mischka looks up at the sky. The sun has disappeared behind the mountains and it's getting hard to see the landscape. He realizes that if he doesn't find a bolt hole soon he could be stuck having to find something as a make shift shelter to spend the night in. He hopes that won't be the case as in his weakened condition, if a night time predator were to come across or smell him, he would no doubt be killed.

Carnation watches Penny and Felicity cautiously. She then looks around realizing how dark it's gotten and begins to wonder where the group is.

Acacia noticed it was starting to get dark. She looked around anxiouly, wondering when they were going to start heading back.

Smudge is focusing on practicing his foraging techniques - he's getting better at it all the time, and this time he manages to successfully catch a beetle.

Mellow Yellow successfully tackles a scorpion, catching it quickly and wolfing it down whole.

Carnation stands tall on her hind legs and scans the horizon trying to spot the rest of the Oreos group. She's becoming worried and is curious to know why they haven't returned home yet.

Turahn watches as well, worried.

Starburst nodded and made lead calls.

Carnation still doesn't see any sign of the Oreos arriving so decides to distract herself from her worries with some self grooming.

Luke and Alex follow.
Trinian frowns, not wanting to head back. But she follows anyway.

Joey followed his mate home right at her side. Another rover might be lurking about, and if he's successful, he might just be the Father of Starburst's next litter if Joey wasn't careful.

Starburst reached the burrow... It seemed today was a success... Nothing seems wrong...

Akina yawned as she reached the burrow. She was tired after a full day of foraging.

Erevu curled up by the closest adult and laid down outside the burrow.

Flare came over to Turahn and started grooming her brother.

Felicity watches Starburst , she chirps and lies in front of her Submissvly .

Penny also lies down in front of the DF.

Micky curls up in a bolt hole for the night .

Cautious by nature, Grovyle scans the area beside Akina.

Starburst chin-swipes both females.

Turahn returned his sister's grooming.

Felicity starts grooming her sister .

Penny returns the grooming .

Kiki watches the new members ,

Micky is asleep

Carnation is relieved to see the Oreos returning home. She walks around peeping a greeting to each member as they start to arrive one by one to the burrow. She looks over at Starburst with a guilty concious. She won't tell her about how she had almost fallen into the arms of an amorous rover today.

Meanwhile, Mischka has come across a bolt hole. With an exhausted yet relieved sigh, he heads below to check it for hidden dangers. He shouldn't get his hopes up yet about finally finding a shelter to spend the night in until he makes sure it's safe.

Micky is still asleep .

Felicity walks over to Turahn and greets him .

Penny also walks over but to Carnation she greeets her and smiles ,

Carnation peeps a shy greeting back to Penny. She's naturally timid around strangers but will eventually warm up to her.

Acacia arrives back at the burrow, and notices the two new members. She watches them curiously, not sure about approaching them or not.

Smudge quickly takes interest in them and bounds over to say hello. Mellow Yellow isn't too bothered by the new members, and would prefer to play.

Felicity smiles but lies down .

Penny rolls on her back playfully.

occ: if your wondering i have changed Pennys age to 5 months coz i wanted to play a pup .

Carnation looks over at Felicity and does the same thing. She lowers head feeling bashful around the new meerkats.

Joey sat next to Starburst and groomed her. Today was a normal day.

Carnation wants to socialize with the 2 new females but she's too shy to approach them. For now she decides to keep her distance.

Meanwhile, Mischka has completed his thorough search of the bolt hole and is satisfied and relieved to know it's deemed safe to spend the night in. He finds a comfortable looking spot in the deep part of his shelter and lays down leaning against the wall. He rests his head on his paws settling down so he can go to sleep.

Starburst returned the grooming.

Carnation grooms herself whilst making occassional glances at Felicity and Penny. She should just go over and socialize with them instead being so insecure..

Felicity sees Carnation and walks over she peeps curiously .

Meanwhile Penny is playing with her tail .

Grovyle continues scanning the area for threats. He may be a pup, but that didn't mean he had to do what other pups did.

Carnation slinks down in a bashful matter. She sits back up looking at Felicity shyly. She peeps a shy greeting back.
