Roleplay- 25th of November

Ninja spots the yellow mongoose and also watches it curiously. It takes his mind off the throbbing pain he's feeling in his front limbs.

In the burrow, Conker is bored and wandering around in the tunnels. He's thinking of emerging soon to explore.

Linda continues to watch it. She notices the the mongoose is pregnant too when it fully reveals itself. She gets down from her log and approaches slowly. Sometimes they're friendly.

Duke watches the mongoose briefly and resumes sentry duty.

Ninja takes notice that the yellow mongoose is pregnant. He watches, a little nervous, as Linda begins to approach the female yellow mongoose. He hopes they're mood swings aren't as unpredictable as a female meerkat's during pregnancy.

Linda approaches slowly as to not startle to mongoose. The chances of meeting a friendly mongoose aren't too high on their own, let alone a pregnant one. The mongoose notices her and stares at Linda too, just as curious.

Ninja watches Linda and the Yellow mongoose closely as they begin to encounter each other. He gets the urge to come to Linda's protection just incase but waits to see what happens.

The two pregnant females of different species stare eachother down until Linda makes the first move by edging within swiping distance of the mongoose. The mongoose growls and hisses. Linda steps back, getting the message. She turns around and starts to trot back to the group.

Ninja jolts in surprise as the yellow mongoose hisses at Linda. He growls to himself and stands up on all 4s ready to come to his mate's protection but at that moment the 2 mongoose cousins part from each other so he sits back down and relaxes.

Linda returns to the group and sits next to Ninja. The mongoose sticks around, and Linda watches from a distance. She doesn't blame the mongoose. She understands how hard it sometimes is to control emotions and behaviour when pregnant.

Ninja watches the yellow mongoose also understand the way she acted was because she needed to protect herself and her unborn pups. He knows that if Linda was in the same place as the yellow mongoose, alone and vulnerable whilst heavily pregnant, she would've reacted the same way if approached by a stranger. He leans over and nuzzles his mate lovingly. He hopes everything goes well for the soon to be mother yellow mongoose.

Linda smiles and peeps back, wishing the same. She also hopes everything goes well for them too.

ooc: I plan to have Kamaria give birth to her litter a little early- I have a plot in mind.

ooc- How early? Anything before 1 game day before the due date may be too soon for them to live.

ooc: My plan was to have a few die... but she needs a great trauma that makes her go into labor early... maybe being attacked by an angry meerkat?

ooc- What are you getting at? I have an odd feeling one of my characters is involved...

ooc: No. Like Killer reappears, tries to take her with him, she refuses, he brutally attacks her, aiming at her stomach, and she limps off back to the burrow in pain and shock, and her pups are born early. One would be stillborn. Two or one more would die later because of early birth.

ooc- How would we get hunte890 to cooperate? It wouldn't make much sense for a male to try to kill his unborn pups.

ooc: But he did call Killer a "massacre Machine." Somebody could simply play Killer since Hunter890 is never on anymore.

ooc: I geuss I could take him over if Hunte890 isn't back by that time. But I probably won't that good at rping his "deadly" personality.

Aliya looks around, not bothered by the mongoose.

Emzio looks at the mongoose with interest and then gets back to foraging.

Below ground, Conker has reached the burrow entrance and peers his head out to look around. He climbs up the burrow slope then bounds over to the adults sounding satisfied calls. He's eager to be apart of what the adults are doing.

Ninja faces Conker and smiles warmly at the spunky little pup. It won't be long until his and Linda's pups will be in this burrow and learning the techniques Aliya's litter has already learned.

Linda grunts a little when one of the pups kicks hard. It seems it's the same pup that keeps kicking hard.

Ninja had missed the sight of the pup kicking in Linda's stomach and is watching Conker closely. He's been known to get into trouble and he wants to make sure as Conker explores, he stays safe.

Conker discovers a medium sized hole in the ground. He sniffs at it curiously.

Linda lays down next to Ninja.

Ninja leans over to give Linda a brief loving nuzzle then shifts his watchful eyes back over to Conker. He notices that he's checking out a snake hole and is poised to act if if the young pup encounters danger.

Conker picks up a strange smell from the snake hole. He's never scented this smell before and he's keenly interested in wanting to find out what this is.

Linda rolls onto her back to rest, her hind legs sticking up.
