Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ninja opens his eyes half way and yawns. He churrs in satisfaction as he stretches. After that nap, he now feels refreshed energized. He sits up and begins to groom off some sand that had collected on his fur while he was sleeping.

Linda looks at Saffron, wondering why she woke her up.

Ninja continues to groom himself, unaware of Saffron's concerns that a potential hidden danger in the bolt hole Linda is sleeping in could put her life and their unborn litter's lives at risk.

Conker slips out the other side of the drie doring bush. He had no luck finding Cactus. Suddenly his attention span is drawn towards something else. He spots a juvenile ground squirell and watches it curiously.

Aliya scans the area.

Suri falls to sleep under the tree.

Emzio looks around at the scenery, amazed by it's constant beuty.

Linda rolls onto her side and still looks at Saffron from inside the bolthole. Why did she wake her up?

Ninja bends his head down to his stomach and grooms along his upper belly. He's almost done grooming the sand from his fur then when he's finished he will go find Linda.

Saffron peeps as she shes a puff adder in the bolt hole

Unaware of a deadly puff adder occupying Linda's bolt hole, Ninja is finishing up on his self grooming. He's moved on to grooming his side then will be done.

Conker is also unaware of the danger and is watching the juvenile ground squirell prance around in a playful mood. He grins tempted to want to join the young animal.

Linda sniffs the air when she hears what Saffron says. She didn't smell it before, but she does now. She looks behind her and sees the dark outline of the puff adder at the very bottom, and hears it's reptilian hiss. Frantic, she quickly picks up Saffron by the neck and races out of the bolthole, adrenaline overcoming her normal sluggish movement resulting from pregnancy. She drops Saffron and lets out urgent alarm calls, letting everyone know that there's a puff adder in the bolthole.

Saffron looks up at linda

Ninja perks up when he hears the alarm call. He recognizes it to be Linda's. He hurries to his feet and looks around panic striken. He can't see Linda but hears her calls. He races in the direction where they're coming from. He spots Linda and sees her facing the entrance of a bolt hole. This is the worst time for her to be exposed to danger. She's an easy target and can be killed along with their soon to be born pups. He hurries to the bolt hole to investigate this mystery threat.

Conker whirls around when he hears the alarm calls. He heads over to the adults for safty. He knows when danger strikes, staying close to the adults will prevent him from getting into harms way.

Linda sounds more alarms, saying it's a puff adder. She knows the risk it poses to their pups, so she keeps her distance from the lightning-quick foe.

Duke literally leaps down from his sentry post on the tree stump, hearing Linda's alarms for the puff adder.

Ninja cautiously sticks his head in the bolt hole entrance. He sees the dark silhouetted shape of the swift striking deadly foe and begins to bobs his head while making threatening spit calls. He'll risk his life to protect Linda and their unborn litter.

Conker watches Ninja with interest. He's too young to get involved with mobbings but this is a good learning lesson if he decides to stay attentive to this defensive behavior. It'll surely prove to be useful to him when he's older.

saffron spoted another bolt hole attached to the one the Adders in she goes in it she shes the puff adders tail and bravely bites it then runs out

Conker watches wide eyed as Saffron went into the other side of the bolt hole. Was she nuts?! She'll get herself killed!

Ninja didn't see Saffron enter the other side of the bolt hole and is fearlessly mobbing the puff adder. It's loud threatening hisses don't intimidate him one bit as he fiercely spits at the snake.

Linda keeps her distance and stays with the pups. It's too risky. She watches with uncertaintly, scared for Ninja's life. She doesn't want him to get hurt.

Duke heads up to the front and inspects the bolthole. He sounds mobbing calls, but is unsure whether to drive it out or let it be.

saffron repeats what she did but almost got her paw bit

Ninja sounds vicious sounding growls before he spits. He jerks back every time the puff adder makes a movement. He wants the deadly snake out. With Linda's pups on the way, he doesn't want this highly venomous foe residing close to the burrow.

Conker continues to watch, now amazed. This is the bravest he's seen the adults act. It inspires him to be like them one day.

Linda watches with worried eyes. She doesn't want her mate killed so close to their pups being born.

Duke edges further in, ready to risk his life for the whole mob.

saffron bites the adders tail hard then got her paw niped by the puff Adder she ran out and began to groom the wound on her paw

Ninja is unware of a dangerous risk Saffron had taken and is continuing to mob the puff adder. He knows he can't afford to risk life and limb at this moment. His and Linda's pups are so close to being born and reciving a potenially fatal bite now could bring turmoil for their small family. He thinks wisely and backs off. It isn't worth the risk right now.

Conker sees Saffron rush our of the other end of the bolt hole appearing to be hurt. Worried he runs over to check on her.

Saffron begans to cry the bite is hurting her

Linda doesn't see Saffron, and is focused on making sure her beloved Ninja is okay.

Duke continues his attack and nips at the snake.

Saffron licks the wound hope that it will stop hurting
