Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ninja doesn't notice Saffron's distress either and has joined Linda at her side. He's decided to take a ring side seat instead of joining in on the action. He doesn't want to risk dying when he's about to become a father who has the chance to see a litter he fathered in person.

Conker wraps his arms around Saffron and rests his head on the tops her's, trying to comfort her.

saffron smiles then crys it hurts to much

Conker looks down at her wound and frowns sympathetically. He hasn't yet learned the threat puff adder bites pose to a meerkat's life and could about to be taught a hard lesson if Saffron had recieved enough of the deadly gold colored venom to kill her.

Saffron cryed

Conker churrs soflty as a way of trying to soothe her to comfort.

Linda sighs relieved when Ninja comes out unharmed. She looks at Saffron, who seems hurt. What happened?

saffron crys louder

Linda comes over and looks at the injury. She peeps, wondering what happened.

ooc- Maybe we should slow down for others to catch up.

occ- Ok
Saffron peeped that the Adder did it

Ninja looks over at Saffron when he hears her cry. He notices that she's injured. He rushes over in a panic, desperate to know what happened.

Conker continues to comfort Saffron even though it doesn't seem to be working.

Saffron crys again

Linda gasps when she hears the puff adder left the mark, and her next question is how? She inspects the wound.

Saffron peeped I i Bit it then it bit me

Ninja gasps when he hears Saffron's explaination. His heart begins to sink. Even a small amount of the puff adder's venom can be devestating to pup. He asses the wound hoping the fang didn't punture too deeply into her flesh.

Conker looks Saffron in the eyes, scared for her.

Linda thinks about tending to the wound, but refrains from it. There might still be some venom on the wound, and she wants to avoid exposing herself to even the smallest amount, since she's pregnant.

Duke mobs the puff adder from inside the bolthole. It strikes, but misses.

saffron lets out another cry

Ninja gently tends to the wound. As a precaution, he grooms around the area incase some of the venom may be on the surface of the wound. He's unsure what ingesting the venom could do to him and doesn't want to take the risk of finding out.

Conker watches, scared for Saffron's well being.

Saffron crys again then she trys to dig shes hungry

Emzio walks over to Saffron, hearing her cry.

Suri mobs the snake near Aliya.

Aliya mobs the snake next to Duke.

The snake starts to retreat towards the other end. Duke keeps the pressure on it, staying just out of striking distance and making spit calls.

Linda grooms Saffron gently to calm her down. Even the tiniest bit of venom could kill a pup.

Ninja helps Linda to keep Saffron calm. He nudges her hind quarters gently downward, suggesting that she shouldn't move around for a while. She may need to be monitered for any signs that she had been envenomated. If so moving around could cause the venom to spread faster which could kill her.

Conker stays by Saffron's side. He leans against her to comfort her.

Linda tries to keep Saffron still too.

Meanwhile, Duke is forcing the serpent further up towards the second entrance. There are pups with them, and ones soon to be born, so this deadly foe must leave.

saffron crys again

Ninja grooms Saffron hoping it'll help ease her restlessness.

Conker looks at Linda and Ninja, terrified. He's seen the snake bite on Saffron but doesn't know what outcome of this could be later on.

Linda peeps softly, reassuring Saffron that things will be alright. She gives Ninja a worried look behind saffron's back and resumes tending to the pup.

The snake comes out of the bolthole, with Duke leading the mobbing family towards it. The snake wants to get away.

Linda sees as the snake emerges and covers Saffron protectively.
