Roleplay- 3rd of December

Linda thanks Ninja with a smiles and devours the fallen prey.

Ninja nods a you're welcome before starting to munch on some of the catterpiller's himself.

Conker takes notice that the adults have gathered at another dead looking tree. He trots over to see what they're doing.

Linda stops clawing at the bark and starts digging elsewhere. Her hunger is starting to go away.

Duke keeps a close watch.

Ninja carefully slides down slightly and vaccums up another bunch of catterpillers. His hunger has decreased a little bit.

Conker looks up at Ninja in amazement. He wants to be up there. It looked like fun but it's very dangerous, especially for an inexperianced pup. He stands up on his hind legs and stretches his front limbs up, trying to reach for a bulde he sees in the bark just a few inches above him.

Linda is too focused on finding food to notice Conker trying to scale the tree.

Ninja also doesn't notice Conker trying to climb up as he is lapping up these rare Kalahari delecacies.

Conker whimpers in frustration. He's just too small to be able to reach that buldge. He makes begging calls, asking any adult who's available to lend him a paw up on the tree.

Duke doesn't hear his son's calls.

Linda does however, and takes time out of foraging to investigate.

Ninja hears them also and looks down to see Conker trying to climb up. He peeps encouraging him it isn't safe form him to climb up this tree.

Conker groans in disappointment. He'll just have to wait until he's older to do adult activties.

Linda returns to foraging, realising what made Conker upset.

Ninja starts carefully making his way down the tree backwards. He makes sure to keep a firm grip at all times whilst climbing down.

Conker sits at the bottom of tree, sulking. Soon his mood lightens up when he sees a catterpiller land next to him. He sniffs at it curiously.

Linda watches to make sure her beloved Ninja doesn't get hurt on the way down.

Ninja gasps as he looked down. He isn't too fond of heights and like any other meerkat, he natrually doesn't have good climbing skills. Luckily he makes safely to the ground.

Conker gently bites the catterpiller, doing a sort of taste test before deciding to eat it. He grins. It tasted delicious. He plucks it off the ground and munches it down.

Linda smiles as Ninja makes it down and resumes foraging.

Still feeling a little hungry, Ninja begins to forage on the ground.

After having that one catterpiller, Conker has a craving for more and looks along the ground trying to find any more that may have dropped from the tree during Ninja's climb down.

Linda continues to forage. Her hunger is dissappearing, but she doesn't stop.

Ninja digs up a beetle and eats it moderately quickly. He's getting close to being full and has slowed down his eating process.

Conker finds another catterpiller on the ground and munches it down quickly.

Linda smells something rare underground and starts digging. She has a very big appetite, and increased aggression and boldness when it comes to satisfying that appetite.

Ninja digs at a leisurely pace and soon finds himself another beetle. He devours it slowly. Now he feels like he's eaten himself over full.

Conker scratches at the ground. He's old enough where he can start fending for himself. Actually he prefers to find food for himself. He's become quite independant since he left the burrow on his first foraging trip.

Emzio and Aliya go to the shade, full.

Suri keeps foraging.

Saffron got bored and found a small tree she began to climb it

Ninja sits down on his haunches and begins to groom the sand from his paws, arms and shoulders. He glances over at Linda surprised at how aggressive she's gotten with foraging.

Conker pulls up some beetle larva and devours them quickly.

Linda uncovers what she's looking for. Two turtle eggs. She rolls one out and attempts to crack the shell.

Duke climbs onto a tree stump to perform sentry duty.

Ninja notices the 2 turtle eggs, but since he's full, isn't interested in trying to convince Linda to share one. Even if he was still hungry, he'd let Linda eat both in peace. He knows she needs them to gather the last of the nutrients she needs before giving birth.

Conker digs, looking for more prey items.

Linda cracks the shell and laps up the insides before starting on the second one. She isn't interested in sharing right now, and doesn't even bother to tell anyone about her findings. In fact she tries to hide them so no one can take them before she finishes.

Ninja gapes his mouth open in a big yawn. Now he knows he ate too much. Feeling heavily full is begining to make him feel sleepy.

Conker doesn't notice that Linda had found 2 turtle eggs and has found himself a beetle. He munches it down quickly.
