Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ninja trusts that if Aliya is pregnant, she won't give in to the natural instincts to want to kill the litter. He feels very relaxed and snuggles with Linda and their precious future knowing that their pups have been blessed to have a rosy future ahead of them...but he's unaware that for a few of the pups, it won't be the case

Linda churrs and rests her head on his paws. She's never felt happier.

Duke comes back above ground and resumes sentry duty. Maybe they should just stay home the rest of the day.

Ninja sighs passionately. He's also at his happiest. He has never felt this happy since the first day of his roving career. Out of all the females he's been with, Linda has been that one who's made him feel the most relaxed and joyous.

Hearing the sound of dry wood cracking, Josephine panicked and dashed out from her bush eager to get away from her current location. To withdrawn and nervous to notice the source of the sound was the giraffe grazing on a close by tree top, the slim female kept her head down anxiously looking for a safer underground spot to hide from her persuers.

Having lost Josephine’s trail, Mungo Jerrie sat tall on top of a large rock swishing his tail keeping watch whilst his sister scraped around in the sand angrily searching for a meal. Both felt disgruntled that the younger female had escaped their paws and ruined their fun, but deep inside Mungo Jerrie was partially relieved that his sister didn’t take her jealousy out on an innocent meerkat.

Not finding a bolt hole but instead a heavily scented patch of vegetation, Josephine sniffed the leaves and continued to tread cautiously. She knew the scent definitely didn’t belong to the Willows and was well aware that the owner’s may be close by and might not be friendly. Taking her chances, Josephine climbed up the nearest, sturdy tall object hoping to get a better look of the surroundings and maybe spot the owners of the scent markings.

Duke keeps watch outside of the burrow, which is now filled with hour-old pups. He's unaware of Josephine's presence on their land.

Linda rests with her mate and their pups, also unaware of another ex-Willow turning up in the area.

Ninja's eyes droop. He's starting to doze off again but having already taken a bit of a nap earlier, he forces himself to remain awake. He doesn't want to have a problem with trying to fall asleep when it comes to setteling down for the night later. He's also unaware of Josephine being in Jumaa territory.

John stirs a bit in his sleep, but doesn't wake up for the time being. This sleep was something he had been needing for a long time, and now he was finally able to do it in peace. He does feel he'll fit right in with this new mob.

Conker remains asleep. He shifts onto his back and his front limbs become positioned tucked into his chest and back limbs spread foward.

Aliya nods to Duke. Everyone seemed relaxed now, so they didn't need to leave again.

Emzio rests her head on her paws and looks around.

Ninja sits up and leans against the chamber wall with his back feet sticking up, he sighs feeling relaxed. He glances at Linda and their litter smiling proudly.

Linda rolls onto her belly and slimes at Ninja. She can't wait until she's fully recovered to do what she used to again. She might have to slow down for him when she gets into a full sprint.

Ninja leans over and nuzzles Linda lovingly. He can't wait until she's back at full strength, then they can do activities together they weren't able to do when she was pregnant.

Linda smiles. She's excited just to be able to run again. Since she was a pup she has always valued her fast running abilities, in fact it saved her life more than once, the most recent being her near-death encounter with Teetsie. She looks down at the pups. Her life has changed drastically in the past two months. She went from a simple-life lonely female to a new mother with a loving mate.

John stirred again, this time, waking up slowly. He yawned, lifting his head up and looking around. A small cat nap seemed just what he needed, as he felt a lot more energized already. Looking down, he noticed Conker had curled up near him, and smiled, finding this adorable. He had always loved pups, and held a strong dream of becoming a father some day. He closed his eyes, dreaming of that day coming. Him, with a female, and having a litter of their own pups. He smiled as he continued to daydream.

Duke yawns and grooms himself. Nothing seems to be happening right now, so he takes a break.

Linda starts to fall asleeps again.

Ninja crawls over to the chamber entrance and lays down on his belly. He peers his head out and turns it in the direction of the burrow entrance. While his precious female and pups rest, he'll keep watch over them. The newborn pups' scent could most likely carry for several hundred feet outside the burrow so he's on high alert for any ground predators that may attempt a break into the burrow in an attempt to get to the pups. With most of the group above ground though he's confident they'll stop any predators from getting inside before they even reach the entrance.

Conker isn't disturbed when John stirs and remains asleep.

Linda falls asleep.

Saffron falls asleep

Ninja moves out into the burrow tunnel and lays down there. Feeling wide awake now, he's also more alert and is ready to fend off any predators who manage to slip into the burrow unnoticed by the rest of the group.

Conker stirs. He opens his eyes half way and stretches out his limbs. He slowly begins to wake up from his refreshing afternoon nap.

Saffron slowly wakes up

Conker rolls onto his stomach. He rests his chin on his front paws, waiting until he feels wide awake before deciding to do anything.

Linda stays asleep, unaware of one of her pups crawling away slowly.

Saffron yawns and gets up

Conker lifts his head and realizes John had also awaken. He chirps cheerfully at him but realizes he looks deep in thought and cocks his head, curious.

Aliya is still wary, but like many others is relaxed.

Emzio rests her head on her paws and lies near the burrow.
