Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ninja returns to the chamber with Linda and lies down across from her. He scootches closer to the pups, spreading his body where it's protectively covering their backs. He looks over at the chamber entrance with a serious expression. He's taking his role as a caring and protective father seriously and won't let anyone he doesn't trust well to approach these newborns right away.

Linda smiles at Ninja and lets the pups feed if they want. She's trusting him to keep the pups safe for now. She may be able to walk again, but she's still not fully recovered from giving birth to the large litter, and is in no condition to defend herself or their pups.

Ninja turns his body towards the chamber entrance. He's poised to defend Linda and the pups with his life if say a cape cobra or some other kind of predator invades the burrow. He knows Linda is still feeling a little weak from giving birth so he's in over protective mode.

Suri goes below ground, suddenly feeling tired, even though the sun hadn't even started setting.

Emzio keeps looking around.

Aliya is still wary.

Ninja hears the sound of pawsteps echoing through the burrow tunnel. He growls quietly. He can't see that it's just a fellow member of the group coming into the burrow to sleep. He may end up being a bit too over protective.

Linda is too busy with the pups to notice. One starts to crawl away, and she pulls the pup back in, only to find another has crawled away. She pulls that one back in too. She's starting to realize that raising a large litter is going to be tough.

Ninja hasn't noticed how active the litter is becoming as he is peering out the chamber entrance. He stares down the burrow tunnel bobbing his head curious to know who or what could be entering.

Suri keeps walking past, not having heared Ninja.

Aliya and Emzio remain above ground and look around.

Ninja relaxes when he realizes the sounds of pawsteps were created by only fellow member Suri. He settles down and retreats back into the chamber.

Duke heads inside. He wants to see the pups.

Linda licks the pups to keep them warm. For much of her adult life she's been helping to raise other females' pups in one way or another. Now she has her own.

Aliya follows Duke. She also wanted to see them.

Emzio stays above ground.

Suri finds her own seperate chamber and curls up.

Duke sniffs around for the chamber the pups are at. He finds it and cautiously tries to enter, aware of how protective new parents can be.

Unaware of the dominants coming in to inspect his and Linda's newborn children, Ninja crawls back over to Linda and the pups. This time instead of getting a female pregnant and leaving to never find out about what happened to the pups he fathered, he's happily become apart of a special female's life and is here at this wonderful moment to see a litter he's proud to be a father of. Ninja looks over at the entrance of the chamber thinking he saw a figure of a meerkat. He sees Duke but does nothing. He smiles warmly, happy to let him see the new additions to the group.

John continued to sleep, just happy he could finally sleep with ease. He was unaware Duke was coming in to see Linda and Ninja's newborn litter, which he was still unaware even existed.

Duke enters and looks at the newborn pups in interest. He feels they are more than able to support another litter.

Linda looks down at the pups and smiles warmly, feeling proud.

Ninja cuddles with Linda and the newborn pups. He churrs happily proud to have a small family of his own and that they were braught into the warm and comforting paws of the Jumaa mob.

Linda sighs relieved. She's been given a second chance, a has delivered her pups into the welcoming paws of the Jumaa. She feared Buckeye would have killed her pups had she delivered there. She need not to worry anymore though. The physical and mental strains of her pregnancy are over now.

Duke looks at the pups. He can't help but smile at them, knowing that they may soon become valued members of their growing mob. They might even become the heirs to their dominance, even though they're a subordinate's pups. His mother was a subordinate's pup, and she was leader.

Ninja feels relaxed and at ease as it seems Duke and Aliya fully accept the subordinate pups into the group. He imagines fate could've been a whole lot crueler for Linda and their precious litter if she would've given birth in the Willows. Most likely, the birthing process would've been tragically cut short if she hadn't even by fate encountered the Jumaa mob. He imagines if Linda was still an evictee, the litter would've been facing a grim future.

Aliya approaches the pups and smiles. They looked so sweet. So innocent. They would hopefully contribute to the now rapidly growing group.

Suri falls to sleep.

Emzio looks around.

Linda, seeing that Aliya seems to be enjoying the pups being here. Things will turn out fine.

Ninja grins with joy. It seems his and Linda's litter have a bright future ahead of them.

Aliya smiles at Linda and peeps, assuring her that the pups will not be threatened by her or the other members.

Linda smiles and peeps a thanks.

Duke inspects the pups one more time and heads out. He's happy to hear his mate has allowed the pups to stay, even as she's pregnant again.

Ninja nods a thanks at Duke and Aliya. A scense of joy flows through his body. He has never known a dominant pair as accepting as Aliya and Duke and is glad that fate had placed Linda and their litter in the open armed Jumaa mob.

Aliya nods. She would do everything in her power to insure her pregnancy doesn't get the better of her. She decides to leave the pair and their pups in peace and re-emerges.
