Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ghost watched as Conker wandered further away from the mob. Perfect... As long as that pup was a good distance, he could easily go in and finish him off. Waiting for a bit, the rover saw a good chance to go and do it now. Readying himself, he charged at Conker, blood lust in his eyes. However... Ghost didn't count on one thing... A certain protective male.

John heard the sound of paws hitting against the sand. Snapping out of his love gaze at Valmarie, he spotted something that almost made his heart stop. A male was charging toward Conker, a look of blood lust on him. Growling deeply, the male charged as well, leaping over Conker and tackled Ghost. Seeing him attempt to cause harm to Conker had this young male seeing red. He wasn't about to let a rover cause harm to any pup, weather the pup was his own or not.

Conker turns his head when he hears the sound of footsteps rapidly hitting the sand. He spots Ghost making a blood lust charge for him and shrieks in a startled matter that would grab all of the Jumaa adults that are above ground their attention. He crouches down curling into a defensive ball and shivers in fear. Suddenly a loud thud causes him to look up. He sees that John has come to his defense and watches in amazement and relief as he fights to keep him from being killed.

Duke immediately springs into action as John discovers Ghost nearby. He charges head on and tackles the rover, telling Conker to run inside. He barks a loud alarm to alert them of danger.

Linda hears the alarm and automatically jumps up to race out of the burrow. She trips twice, still feeling off-balance.

Not one, but two males had now discovered him. Ghost growled, managing to kick up dust and sand into the air, aiming at the two males.

John coughed as the dust and sand cloud came over to him. He pawed at his eyes, which stung greatly. However, being the stubborn male he was, he didn't back off. He managed to sink his teeth into Ghost's shoulder, attempting to slow the sly rover down.

Saffron growled How dare he Attack her playmate she growed again and wardanced toword Ghost

Duke coughs, but manages to take hold of Ghost's shoulder.

Just as he does that, Linda comes above ground, seeing a cloud of dust with three males fighting, one seemingly a rover. She sees Conker and, still to weak to fight, rushes over to help him.

Ninja also startles at the sound of fighting occuring above ground. He remains where is though. Assuming some kind of danger has surfaced, his and Linda's new litter could be at risk if left alone. Ninja curls his body protectively around the pups. If what ever or who ever is stiring up trouble above ground attempts to invade the burrow looking for pups to kill, he'll defend them with his life.

Conker watches nervously as Duke jumps into the action. The cloud of dust kicked up by Ghost has him frightened. He's learning that it's a special trick of his he uses to either get away or confuse his rivals. Conker sees Linda emerge and runs to her for protection.

Ghost growled. Once more, he had rushed before thinking of the possibilities of the mob discovering him. Now John and Duke had both his shoulders in their grasp. He attempted to kick up another dust and sand cloud, using his back legs this time.

John coughed more as another cloud was made, and his eyes stung greatly. But he didn't let go. He would easily throw his life away to ensure Conker would get to see another day.

Linda stands protectively in front of Conker. Just hours after giving birth, her attitude of risking herself for others has already returned, but since she's now a mom, she still needs to stay alive for the litter's sake.

Duke keeps his grip on Ghost's shoulder. No one dares to try to hurt his son!

saffron Blined by the dust is unaware she is heading away from both the mob and Ghost

Ghost kept up with his trick. Eventually, those two would have to let go. Especially if sand and dust continued to get in their eyes.

John shut his eyes, attempting to prevent further dust and sand to enter them. However, he was still coughing from the cloud. It would get to the point where suffocating would come in. But, still being stubborn, John refused to let go.

Conker looks from behind Linda. He can barely see what's happening in the huge cloud of dust Ghost had kicked up. He can see dark silhouettes through the dust, one of the figures appears to be struggling as 2 others appear to have them by the shoulders. He knows Duke and John must have the upper paw and barks competitively, bravery returning to him, as he cheers them on. If he were older, he'd tear into Ghost but because of him, his chances of being able to grow up have nearly been cut short.

Below ground, Ninja realizes Linda isn't by his side and peeps, worried. What ever is going on above ground, he hopes Linda is safe. He wouldn't want to have go through losing the love of his life just after things were starting to look bright for them. Now that they have a litter to support, without Linda, things would become difficult.

Saffron began to cry the bite hurt again

Conker looked over at Saffron. Seeing that she's in pain again, he goes over to comfort her. He assumes the snakebite must be hurting again and instinctively begins to delecately groom it, hoping to soothe Saffron's pain.

Occ-she's in the dust

Saffron sat down thinking no one heard her

ooc: Oh.

Conker hears crying coming from within the dust cloud and recognizes it to be Saffron. Fearing she could be caught up in the fight and in danger of being attacked bu Ghost, a wave of courage comes over him and he dashes into the mini dust storm. Acting fast, he grabs Saffron by the scruff and pulls her to safty.

ooc- I couldn't post before. Loading problems.

ic- Linda gasps when Conker rushes in and heads in after him.

Ghost decided he had to get free, and fast. He bent over and bit John in the face.

Yelping in pain, John finally let go, now trying to get Ghost to let go of his face.

Linda accidentally runs right into Ghost while searching blindly for Conker and Saffron. She stumbles to the ground, not expecting the hard hit, and still weakened.

ooc: Same. It seems like things are back to normal now.

Conker sees Linda running to his and Saffron's aide. He stays put sitting by Saffron protectively. Despite being smaller than Ghost, he'll defend her with his life if the dangerous male targets her next.

Ninja has planted himself in front of the chamber entrance. He glares into the burrow tunnel, poised to defend the pups to the death from the mystery enemy above ground. He hopes that Linda is safe.

Saffron crys again

Conker wraps his front limbs around Saffron, giving her a comforting hug.

John blindly began to swipe at Ghost, trying to get the rover to let go of his face. It was starting to sting greatly, and he knew he had to get Ghost to let go, and fast. He could get brain damage, or possibly become blind. Growling, the young male began to thrash and buck, another way to attempt to get Ghost to let go.

Ghost grunted when John began to thrash and buck.

Linda sits dazed after colliding with Ghost.
