Roleplay- 3rd of December

*A female waundered here from her old Skywatcher home. Her sister Rose had just died, she left out of grief. She came here, hoping for a new start. Maybe she could find some pups to babysit, and a mate to love.*
(Can't the meerkats talk?)

All six pups huddle and climb over eachother to get some milk from their mother. Linda smiles and wraps around them in a warm, protective ball.

Duke spots a female approach and sounds the alarm. They already have two adults that are newer to the mob than the few-hours old pups below ground. Will they have a third?

John stood back, to watch the pups feed. He smiled warmly. He couldn't wait to watch the pups grow and mature into potential members of the mob. He would look at Josephine once in a while, seeming to take a fancy toward her. But, he knew he couldn't just mate whenever he desired. He looked back at the pups, watching them nurse from Linda with a soft smile.

*Velmarie looked unsure, startled by the alarm call.*

Ninja shifts closer to Linda and the pups. He looks over and watches the pups suckle with an adored smile on his face. Before they know it, they'll emerging from the burrow and joining the adults on forage outings. He's so excited to get a chance to witness those exciting days. He's unaware of Valmarie approaching above ground.

Conker continues to watch the pups happily.

ooc: No, here they can't talk, but when they want to say something we type it without the quotation marks and put it in itallics.

ooc: And usually when we have them say something we usually type so and so churrs, peeps or makes a facial expression matching what they may say and put it in italica after they make some kind of response gesture.

Aliya looks over at Velmarie and widens her eyes. Three meerkats in such a short amount of time? Where were they coming from? She approaches Velmarie, deciding to make sure she didn't look like a threat before making her judgement.

Josephine smiled warmly back at Ninja and John and gentle nuzzled young, curious Conker affectionately. She had no intention of harming Ninja nor his pups, she was part of the same group now and would defend any one of the members just like she had promised in the Willows under Buckeye's rule.
Chirping to Linda, Josephine exited the narrow tunnel and returned to the surface to give the new parents some privacy.

Ninja looks up to see Josephine smiling warmly at him. He trusts her being around the new litter and trusts that she'd be a reliable gaurdian for them when it'll come time for them to be looked after. He bends his head down, resuming his focus on the pups and nuzzles each one of them caringly.

Conker churrs and returns a nuzzle as Josephine nuzzled him. He's quickly warmed up to the new female and hopes she stays in the Jumaas for a long time.

Linda rests her head down and churrs at the feeling of the pups suckling. She's unaware of the new meerkat above ground.

Duke watches Aliya inspect the newcomer.

Ninja leans back against the chamber wall and watches the pups suckle with a joyfull smile.

Conker peers out into the burrow tunnel and looks around. He hops out into the tunnel squealing delightfully. He's back into his playful mood.

Linda smiles. As fun as it is, caring for another female's pups doesn't compare to caring for her own. She gently nuzzles the pups as they feed, feeling a sense of accomplishment. These six little bundles of joy have no idea what their mother has done and what she's sacraficed to get them here. She's given up everything she used to have, her brother's presence, her friends at the Willows, a simple yet happy life, and she's gotten even more in return. A loving mate, and a litter of pups they've brought into the world together.

Duke waits for the female's reaction.

Ninja is ecstatic that he got to see this day. After hearing about all of the stress and trouble Linda had gone through during her pregnancy, he was afraid she and the pups would never have made it but fate was on their side and here they are, enjoying the peaceful life of being in the Jumaa mob together. Now they have a litter of pups, which survived to be brought into the world. Life seems to be turning rosy for him, Linda and their precious new litter.

(Ah, ok)
*Velmarie looked at everyone and smiled, hello everyone.*

Duke stares at Velmarie. She hasn't appeared to be showing any signs of submission, and is curious of her intent.

In the burrow, Linda starts to groom Ninja again. She's madly in love with him and their pups, and has never felt this happy.

Unaware of Valmarie making a bold approach, Ninja churrs passionately as Linda started to groom him. He leans forward and nuzzles her lovingly. He feels so happy around her and the pups and would do anything for them, even lay down his life to keep them safe. He returns the grooming and grooms Linda affectionately on the side of neck.

Conker begins crawling up to the burrow entrance. He has the urge to want to explore again.

*Velmarie felt confused. This mob was so different from the others she'd been at. What was she to do next? She looked at Duke. * Velmarie: Yes? I mean no harm.

Conker climbs up the burrow slope and once he reaches the mound of the burrow, he spots Valmarie. He blinks his wide eyes which glimmer with curiosity.

*Velamire smiled at Conker, slowly walking over to him. She'd been feeling so alone...*

Conker bravely takes a few steps towards Velamarie, smiling warmly at the new female. She doesn't appear to be a threat so assumes it's safe for him approach her.

John also leaves the chamber to allow Ninja and Linda to have their privacy and spend time with their new litter. It warmed his heart knowing there was always a chance to have a litter with a female. But when... that would be the true question. It further fueled his dream of being a father and having his own litter with that special female. He decided to go out of the burrow and maybe forge around a bit, feeling a bit peckish. He was unaware that another new meerkat made an appearance above ground.

Conker looks up at Velmarie and churrs calmly. His wide eyes now glimmer with innocent trust towards this new 'kat.

John soon came out of the burrow, shaking himself a bit. Then, he took notice of Conker and the new female, Velmarie. He had to take a second look at her, this time, in awe. She... was stunning. It was love at first sight. He temporary forgot his hunger as he stood in his spot, looking at the new female in total awe.

Still furious at his unsuccessful assault on one of the pup's the Tiny Kat's splinter group, the Comets, Ghost slowly found the Jumaa mob. Perhaps he'd have better luck here... Finding a spot to hide and watch, he took notice of Conker very quickly. Another pup he could possibly attempt to kill. His failure of killing Topaz enraged him. But this time... He would be more patient. He had rushed the last time, feeling confident he'd get the job done quick. But it ended in failure. This time... He would wait for the perfect moment to strike.

Conker glances around, his urge to explore is strong. He gets up and pads around burrow grounds, occassionally scratching at the ground then sniffing the sand trying to pick up interesting smells he's curious about discovering. He's unaware that a dangerous rover is laying in wait near by.
