Roleplay- 3rd of December

Ninja is nestled against Linda. He churrs softly as he watches Linda sleep with a warm smile.

Linda's breathing is slow as she sleeps. She's still cuddled up with Ninja and their pups.

Ninja yawns. As he watches Linda and their pups sleep, he begins to feel the onset of drowsiness himself. It has been an eventful day and he's only now begining to feel the effects of it taking a toll on his body. He rests his head on the side of Linda's shoulder and his eyes begin to droop.

John had the same idea as Linda and Ninja. Stretching out again, he got comfortable and closed his eyes, attempting to fall asleep.

ooc- I don't think they met yet.

ic- Linda churrs softly while snuggling with Ninja. From this point forward they'll be full time parents.

Ninja churrs calmly as he starts to doze off with Linda cuddled in his arms. He perks up when he hears a sound coming from the chamber nextdoor. He sits up and cocks his head inquisitively at the the chamber wall, wondering if someone from the mob had decided to take refuge in the next chamber. Curious to find out who, Ninja gets up and exits the chamber to investigate.

Conker is curled up by John. The new male's sleepiness had caught on to him and he had decided to plant himself close to him to take a little nap himself.

Aliya sits by Duke, still scanning the sky.

Suri watches the sky.

Emzio re-emerges.

Linda wakes up as Ninja leaves and peeps to him, wondering why.

Ninja looks over his shoulder and peeps back to Linda letting her know he thought he heard a noise coming from the chamber next door and is going to investigate to see if someone is occupying it.

Linda nods and tends to their pups.

Ninja exits the chamber, stepping out into the dark burrow tunnel. As he approaches the next the chamber, he sees a dark silhouette of fully grown meerkat spread out on the floor inside. He bobs his head and peeps wondering who was there.

Conker stirs at the sound of Ninja's peep. He looks up at the dark figured adult with his eyes half open.

John also hears Ninja and opens his eyes, lifting his head up and looking toward the other male. Peeping in greeting, the new male explained he was the newest member of this mob, being accepted into the group not long ago, and insures he means no harm. He just wanted a place to call home.

Linda hears and unfamiliar voice and gets up to investigate herself. One of the pups squeaks in protest. She'll be back in a moment.

Ninja welcomes the new male, John, with a greeting nod and a peep. He smiles warmly, glad to help everyone in the group make him feel comfortable and at home in the mob. He sounds a chuckle seeing that some of the Jumaa pups have already taken a liking to John. He knows John had picked the right mob to join. The Jumaa are the most nicest and relaxed groups he's ever known and knows John will do just fine as a member in the group.

Conker pads up to Ninja smiling and nods agreeing with John. He has quickly gotten to trust the new male and hopes all of the adults approve of him staying in the group permanently.

Linda exits the chamber and starts heading up the tunnel.

Ninja looks down at Conker smiling, assuring the socially open pup that he's confident everyone will make John feel comfortable and welcom in the group. He couldn't have picked a better group than the Jumaa mob.

Conker looks over at John then back at Ninja with a hopeful gleam in his eyes.

John does feel welcomed here, as no one seemed to disapprove of his presence. He smiles at Ninja and Conker, glad they feel comfortable around him.

Emzio scans the area, curious.

Aliya looks around warily.

Suri lies on his stomach and sighs.

Linda comes up to Ninja and peeps, wondering about the mystery meerkat she heard.

Ninja realizes how exhausted John looks. He understands he must be drained after a long and tough journey through the harsh Kalahari desert. He steps out of the chamber to let John get back to resting. Ninja looks at Linda and peeps explaining to her that the new meerkat named John has recently been accepted into the group and has come down into the burrow to rest.

Conker trots back over to John and lays down beside him. Feeling tired himself from today's activities, he's going to take a little afternoon nap.

Linda looks at John. So they have a new member. He could be useful in the future, but she doesn't trust him, yet. She backs out and returns to the pups.

Aliya looks out at the distance and spots a vulture. She calms down. It is not a threat to any of the members.

Ninja follows Linda back to the chamber feeling calm. He has quickly put his trust in John's paws but not ALL of his trust. He takes a swift glance at the chamber with a wary facial expression where John is resting. With newborn pups just next door to him, he's feeling a little on edge and protective of his new litter.

Conker closes his eyes and starts to doze off next to John.

Linda lays down and cuddles with the pups. She's rather touchy and protective of her precious bundles of joy, which is normal for a new mother that just gave birth a short time ago.

John watched as Ninja left with a female, before looking down at Conker, smiling a bit before he laid his head back down, deciding to go back and take a nice, long nap.
