Roleplay- 3rd of December

ooc: Ugh I'm having writers block moments and I'm starting to lack the motivation to rpXD

Ninja becomes concerned for John's safty as well as the rest of the group members'. He stops grooming John's wounds and takes up sentry, allowing Kinkajou, Velmarie and some of the others to tend to John's injuries. He has their backs covered.

Conker feels safe and secure being around John and seeing that Ninja had taken up sentry duty. Conker hears Saffron crying and goes to comfort her.

Saffron smiiles at Conker

((OOC: I feel the same, don't feel left out. xD))

John was also keeping an eye out for danger. Injured or not, he wasn't ready to lower his guard. But he still allowed those who were helping with his wounds continue to tend his injuries.

Conker churrs calmly. He was happy to offer Saffron some comfort and it made him feel good to help her feel better.

Ninja is on high alert as he thoroughly scans the landscape. He's very aware of his environment and is poised to act if danger surfaces.

Saffron yawnes and falls asleep

*Velmarie had had a long, but very good day here at the Jumaas. She cuddled next to Johh, and soon fell asleep.*

Conker remains near Saffron. Something tells him it isn't safe for her to be sleeping above ground so he's in protection mode.

Linda churrs softly and calmingly to her pups as she feeds them and nuzzles them affectionately. Her motherly care for them comes as an instinct, but she's already finding herself to be a good mom.

Duke resumes sentry duty again.

Ninja turns to find that Velmarie has also dozed off in the open. Concerned about her safty, he pads over to her and nudges her gently. If she wants to rest, she'll be safer if she sleeps in the burrow.

*Velmarie looked up at Ninja, blinking. She understood, but looked back at John, whinning.*
Velmarie: What do we do about John?

Ninja looks over at Velmarie and peeps We should help him to the burrow to rest. He should be safer there from predators

John was still looking around for any predators, oblivious to needing to go inside and rest after his fight with Ghost.

*Velmarie nodded in agreement.*
Velmarie: Good idea, so we just carry him in?

Ninja looks at John. He can see he's determined to help insure the group's safty despite being injured. His courage impresses him. Ninja resumes gaurd duty. He shakes his head at Velmarie. He believes when John starts feeling the need to rest he'll head into the burrow himself.

Linda shifts position, feeling a little uncomfortable. She was an idiot for jumping blindly into the dust cloud just hours after giving birth, but she may have helped in saving Saffron and Conker.

Ninja glances at the sky. He heard the sound of a bird flapping its wings. Luckily, it wasn't a bird of prey, it was just a drongo flying over head.

Conker watches the drongo fly by curiously.

John also watches the drongo fly. Luckily, it wasn't a threat. He goes back to keeping an eye on for danger. He didn't feel the need to rest yet, he was much more determined to ensure the mob would be safe first.

Ninja ignores the drongo. It's something not to be concerned about. He's on the looks out for more serious threats such as goshawks, martial eagles, jackals etc. He's relieved to see there's no sign of any of those anywhere but keeps his gaurd up. Any lack in concentration could be fatal.

*Velmarie immitated the other members, even though she wasn't as good at sentry, she kept a lookout.*

Conker watches the adults perform sentry duty with interest. He's too young to be able to perform it correctly but hopes to someday become an excellent sentinal.

Saffron yawnes and fall asleep

Conker continues to watch the adults perform sentry duty.

Ninja shifts his weight, turning to face the south. He scans the vegetation warily. A breeze has picked up and the movement of the greens has him nervous.

Linda finishes tending to her pups and comes back above ground, smiling as she sneaks up from behind Ninja.

Ninja doesn't notice Linda sneaking up on him as he keeps up his vigilant watch.

Linda comes up right from behind Ninja and stands up right behind him, but to the right. She starts to groom his neck passionately, feeling a little romantic right now despite what just happened.
