Roleplay- 3rd of December

John relaxes slightly when Duke helped with his injuries. Luckily, his injuries weren't too bad, thanks to his fast thinking. He was just glad he managed to prevent Ghost from ending Conker's life. He felt boiling anger toward the rover for even attempting such a thing. He swore to remember this rover if he ever attempted something like this ever again. That trick Ghost used was also something that he never seen before.

Ninja looks over at John a bit concerned. He looked like he took the brunt of Ghost's attacks but thanks to his noble actions, Conker and Saffron can live another day. He too is angered that this heartless Ghost tried to kill a pup. How cold hearted could someone get!? He wasn't able to get a good look at Ghost since he arrived at the action too late but he remembers his clever trick very well. Once a rover himself, Ninja has seen many clever tricks performed by other rovers and even performed some of his own but kicking up a large cloud of dust to use as a divertion was something he's never seen a rover use before.

Conker notices that John is pretty banged up. He runs over to him concerned.

*Velmarie smiled at Conker and Saffron*
Velmarie: Hi there, nice to meet you! She chirped.

John looks down at Conker and smiles, just relieved to see he came to the little pup's defense in time, since Conker wasn't hurt. He finally winced from his injuries, which were stinging like many bees stinging his face all at once. The bleeding, however, wasn't bad anymore, and was slowing down a bit. It still left his face a bit blood-stained.

Conker looks over at Velmarie and churrs pleased make the new meerkat's aquaintance. He believes she'll fit in perfectly in the Jumaa mob. He then looks back at John with a look that says thank you. John is seen as a hero in his eyes and is interested in wanting to become like him, helping meerkats in need and defending the weak and fragile.

*Velmarie sqeaked happily, joyed at making a new friend. She was still concerned about John. She went up to him.*
Velmarie: Are you okay? She asked. Can I help you?

Conker churrs happily. He's also glad to make a new friend. He's natrually open to meeting strangers and likes to make friends with everyone.

Also worried about John, Ninja pads over to him, circles him, then observes the wounds on his face. They don't look serious but it doesn't mean there isn't a chance that they could become infected. He'll need to have them groomed to prevent infection from setting in.

*Without a second thought, Velmarie gently groomed John's fur, and churred soothingly.*

John looked at Velmarie when she groomed, and felt slightly calm by her. He would of blushed if meerkats could do that. However, he winced from his injuries again. He knew they had to be groomed to ensure his wounds wouldn't develop an infection. If that were to happen, he would be in serious trouble. But he was still glad he managed to avoid Ghost causing serious harm to Conker, or even worse, cutting his life short.

Instinctively, Ninja helps to tend to John's facial wounds. He grooms them delecately so as to not irritate the injuries.

Conker looks back over at John. He scootches closer to him and leans against his front leg wanting to comfort him.

Linda stares at John with worry, but doesn't stick around. She has pups to tend to below ground, and heads in to do so.

Duke continues to help John.

John stays still as Ninja and Duke tend to his injuries. He smiles down at Conker when he felt the pup leaning on his leg. It seemed he made the right choice in joining this mob. They hardly even knew him, and yet, still treated him like a family member. He didn't regret this choice, and was glad he was able to prevent a life from being lost.

Ninja grooms the wound that looks the most severe. He makes sure to keep his grooming at a gentle level so as to not irritate the wound.

Conker looks up at John, his eyes glimmer with admirement. He greatly respects the male and his heroic action have inspired him. If fate hadn't had brought him here, who knows what could've happened to him when Ghost attacked.

Aliya looks around warily. The smell of blood could attract threats.

Emzio goes over to John, very concerned.

Suri rests her head on her paws and looks around.

Linda returns to her pups and starts to feed them again.

Ninja stops grooming John's wounds to take a quick predator check break. Like Aliya, he's worried that predators could pick up the smell of John's blood and attempt to attack him. He narrows his eyes in suspcion as he carefully scans the vegetation and sky for aerial or ground enemies.

Conker takes notice that some of the adults are on edge and feels nervous. He stays close to John for protection.

John also becomes aware that the scent of his blood could attract predators. He looks around, now feeling intense. He just hopes that no predators were around. Or pick up the smell of his blood. The mob just had a rover attack out of no where, they didn't need any predators to come in...

Aliya continues looking around warily.

Emzio also becomes nervous when she sees the others are on edge.

Suri looks around, all of a sudden wary. She had no idea who John was, but assumed he was accepted into the group when she was asleep.

Ninja spots nothing of concern so resumes grooming John. He makes occassional glances at the horizon and sky just to be safe. Having just been attacked by a rover, a predator attack could complicate the group's process of recovering from the shock of the last attack.

Conker glances at the vegetation and sky, copying what some of the adults are doing. He's learning that the landscape and sky are where most dangers appear from.

Kinkajou smiles warmly at John , she flops down next to him and grooms his face injuries

*Velmarie, trying to comfort John as much as possible, began humming, in a meerkat way. She continued to groom him, very softly.*

Saffron began to cry the bite hurt
