Role Play- 8th of December(Comets)

Jupiter snickers as she watched Boomslang run off. She goes back to sentry duty.

Nashita yelps when her brother leaped onto her. She grunts, attempting to get freed from his grasp.

Topaz looked around, shivering whenever she laid eyes on Horrendous.

Tails stares at Jupiter, the dominant female, cravingly. He isn't sure if he should take the risk trying to mate with her. There is probably a dominant male around, and, if spotted, Tails could suffer horrible consequences.

Karma turns her cold gaze away from Horrendous. There are more serious concerns to worry about than stare at him disdainfully for hours. She fixates her focus on the horizon, resuming her watch for predators.

Tails looks around, unsure. Should he give it a go? Sure. What's he got to lose, anyway? If he's seen by other males, Tails could just run off and be glad he tried. With renewed confidence, Tails creeps closer to Jupiter.

Elena is still unaware, but still on sentry duty.

The sound of hooves thumping close by draws Karma's watchful gaze over to a heard of gemsbok leisurely grazing close by. She tilts her head, showing interest in the graceful looking animals.

Tails creeps close enough to Jupiter so that she can see him but also so that he would be hidden from a dominant male or other males.

Veen slipped into some brambles. He sniffed the air, smelling only babysitters at the burrow. He peeked his head out, looking for a female- and spotted Karma. He meeped a silent greet, and moved a little so she could see him.

Jupiter spots Tails. She eyes him, attempting to figure out what he wanted. He wasn't showing submissive behavior, so, he was... a rover! Baring her teeth, Jupiter growls at him. I'll give you a chance male, leave now and I won't call the group to chase you off... After what happened with Bandit, she wasn't in the mood to deal with rovers.

ooc: Karma is at the burrow and Tails is approaching the foraging party. Since you said Veen has competition wouldn't he be approaching the foraging party?

Exactly what YoshKat said. Karma's at the burrow babysitting while Jupiter is at the forging party since she's the dominate.

Tails performs his charming, warm peep that he used on Mozart instead of leaving. Mozart was angry at Tails at first, but whe Tails used his charms, she changed her mind about him. Tails hopes the same will go for Jupiter. Good luck may have followed Tails on his first mission, but good luck doesn't always last forever.

May doesnt spot Veen , she stands on top of the bush he is hiding in and sniffs the air gently , but her nose is bunged up and she cant smell much

Jiggy spots Tails and growls , he walks over to Jupiter and peeps Need any help ? he glared at Tails but wouldnt chase him off unless Jupiter said soo ..

Karma glances over hearing a soft meep. Discovering it came from a rover, her fur bristles and she hisses in surprise. She won't tolerate a strange male being this close to the pups. After Ghost tried to kill Topaz, she won't be taking any more chances. All strange males will be met by aggression if they're caught within an uncomfortable proximity of the pups until proven worthy of trust. But realizing this male is apparently a rover, he will not be welcome here. Karma barks drawing the other babysitters' attentions and letting them know they have yet another intruder on burrow grounds.

May clambers down adn hisses , bristling her fur up

Jiggy looks at Jupiter

Hearing Karma’s warning bark, Sanders shot up onto his little back legs and urgently looked around for his younger brother. Unable to locate Jet he anxiously began to peep short contact calls and scurried over to the other nearby youngsters.

Having been obscured by another young relative, Jet clambered over another pup and bounded over behind Sanders and rubbed caringly against him.

Sighing in relief, Sanders shuffled close to Jet and turned his attention back to Karma. <What had she seen?>

May growls and stands in front of the burrow , and pups protectively , she hisses at the rover , Veen to scram

Karma scrambles to corral the pups into the burrow. She chatters anxiously, explaining to them a strange male has made an unwelcome visit here and could harm them if they were to stray into his paws. She joins May in forming a barrier infront of them, ready to fend off Veen if he shows hostility towards the pups.

Veen sat up. Luck wasnt with him this week. at all. He churred at the babysitters before he left. Tell me, babysitters, why you think im intirested in your pups? why, all of a sudden, has there been an uproar from all the mobs ive checked into? honestly, pups arent my thing to destroy. He continued to sit, staring at them in anger, confusion, and dissapointment. He wanted an answer.

With Veen serving as a distraction, Tails waits for Jupiter's response.

((OOC: Remember, Veen and Tails are not even close to each other. Veen is at the bolt hole while Tails is where the forging group is.))

Jupiter glances at Jiggy and nods, giving him permission to help. Obviously not wanting to deal with this, she made some calls and began to wardance at Tails, clearly intending to chase him off. She didn't need to deal with any other pregnant females, especially with Antebellum having a litter soon.

Nashita blinks when she heard Jupiter making calls. Was it time to go? She didn't know it was to summon the group to chase off a pesky rover.

Topaz huddles close with the other pups and the adults, clearly nervous. Ghost's attack on her left her horribly afraid of strangers. She was still vulnerable and knew better than to be away from the adults. She never was going to leave the group's sight ever again.

ooc: Oh yeah, right.

ic: His lucky streak broken, Tails desperately tries his last trick-a charming smile-while tensing to prepare to run as soon as the mob is gathered.

Elena hears the calls and quickly follows in the chase. It's not Bandit, but still a rover, and she gets unusually angry as she pursues him, as if all rovers are like Bandit, abandoning females once they have what they want.
