Roleplay- 16th of December (Comets)

Elena has forgotten her worries for now as she watches Nashita use her as a pillow and dift to sleep. She's unawar that Jupiter has been glancing at her as well.

Karma too would occassionally look over the pleasntly resting mob, making sure everyone was present and the pups were sticking close to the protection of the adults as they played, foraged, explored or were brushing up on their Kalahari survival skills. So far, everything seems fine, but Karma keeps her gaurd up incase danger suddenly appears.

Enkozi happily watches birds that fly around.

Amani and Jia are both resting.

Aaron falls to the ground tired

Karma maintains her sharp eyes and concentration on the sky and ground, staying extra vigilant for danger.

Jupiter sighs heavily. What should she do about Elena? She still lacked the heart to evict her. And truthfully, she didn't want to kick Elena out. Well, for now... Elena was allowed to stay. Hopefully after a few days of thinking, Jupiter can make her decision of what she could do.

Puzzle continued to keep his watch as well. He was unaware of Jupiter still deciding of what she should do about Elena and her pregnancy. Truthfully, he felt they didn't need anymore pups. Even though Enkozi was the final pup to emerge, now they had plenty of pups to feed and nurture. Especially when some were still learning their forging skills.

Nashita was sound asleep, cuddled against Elena's fur. She looked very content as she slept. Dreaming of sleeping against her mother's fur.

Topaz spots something and stops her forging. A grasshopper, a big and juicy looking one, could be seen. The pup began to sneak toward it. That'd be a big enough meal for herself and Jet. She tried to be as quiet as possible. Any sudden noise could scare this prize away. When she was close, she pounced. The grasshopper had no chance to react as Topaz grabbed it, and with a few shakes of her head, the grasshopper went still. She grinned, proud of her catch. And what a prize for a pup!

Tsumae woke and stretched, refreshed. She stood then peeped, inviting anyone to come wrestle with her.

Unaware of Jupiter being conflicted on what to do about Elena, Karma is observing the pups' foraging skills. She had witnessed Topaz's hunt and is impressed with how swift she caught the grasshopper. She's quickly blossoming into a skillful hunter.

Elena is oblivious to Jupiter's thinking about a decision that will change her life forever as she watches the pups play, and Nashita sleeping against her fur.

Inquisitive about the grasshopper and Topaz’s sudden pounce for the prey, Jet froze low on the sand with his eyes wide and his front legs spread apart. He wasn’t aware of what was happening, until she strolled back confidently into his view.

Splash glanced at the pups quietly, sitting near Cloud Catcher.

Karma giggles with adoration at Jet's amusing response to Topaz's skillful catch. How cute!

Topaz was proud of her catch. This kind of prey was always tricky to get, but she finally caught one! Made her feel more mature. She began to devour it until about half of it was left and drops the rest of the grasshopper at Jet's paws. He should eat too. He may like tasting a grasshopper.

A smile of adoration broadens Karma's face as she saw Topaz generously deliver half the grasshopper to Jet. Awww how sweet and thoughtful of her! There seems to be something going on between the 2 little ones. Could it be love?

Splash smiles softly as she watches the pups.

ooc: I may have to disperse her if Dipsy doesn't come back... T_T

Amani and Jia are still peacefully sleeping.

Enkozi continues looking around, trying to spot the other local wildlife.

Realizing she's been distracted for a long time, Karma gets back to keeping watch for danger. She knows better that even a second of distraction could prove fatal if the other sentries fail to spot what may be in her view.

Elena starts to groom herself as she rests and notices how it's starting to get dark. They should go home soon. She nudges Nashita, trying to wake her up.

Jupiter looks up, noticing the sky was growing dark. Time to go. Everyone would have to wake up for now. They can resume sleeping once in the safety of the burrow. Letting out leading calls, she awaits for everyone to awaken. She didn't want to risk leaving someone behind.

Puzzle hears Jupiter and looks around at everyone. They had to wake up and get going before it got too dark.

Nashita awakens from Elena's nudging and yawns. She blinks sleepily and looks up at the teen questioningly.

Topaz also hears Jupiter and looks at Jet. It was time to go.

Elena chirps. Time to go. She gets up and trots to Jupiter, but keeps her distance. She never knows if or when Jupoter may choose to kick her out, so maybe staying out of sight and mind is the best solution.

Karma glances around confused when Jupiter's lead calls reach her ears. She had been so engrossed in keeping watch for danger, she didn't hear the volcalization clearly to be able to recognize the call as a time to go announcement. Hearing a second call make's her immediately realize it's that time to head back to the burrow, so she bounds over to the Comet's leader, eager to head home.

Amani, Jia and Enkozi follow.

Elena follows Jupiter and lets the other file in in front of her to give her some distance. She stays near Karma, feeling that she and Antebellum are the only ones she can trust.

Karma smiles warmly at Elena, welcoming her company. Despite she poses a potential threat to Jupiter, Karma will be there to support and comfort her when ever she's in need of a friend.
