Roleplay- 16th of December (Comets)

Jupiter sighs, now overcome with guilt. She had been so angry about what had happened with Bandit and how he impregnated Elena, that she took that out on the poor teen. Elena was the victim of all this, and Jupiter punished her. Well, yes, she still had to have some punishment for mating with Bandit when she knew better that mating was forbidden in this big group. Anymore pups or meerkats would spell trouble. She was having enough problems trying to keep the splinter group under control. She sighed again, now puzzling what she should do about this.

Puzzle scans the area, looking out for any threats to the forging pups.

Nashita continues to forge happily.

Topaz was still grooming Jet gently, being aware he was smaller and didn't want her grooming to hurt him. She really felt herself bonding with the smaller male. He was prehaps the closest thing to a sibling she ever had.

Karma shuts her eyes and allows the gentle breeze and soothing sounds of the Kalahari lull her to sleep.

Elena rests as well, but doesn't fall asleep. She's always been careful about napping above ground.

Karma casually naps under the shade of her bush. The tranquility has obviously lulled her into a state of complacency, a careless mood about her which could put her life at risk if she's caught off gaurd by an oppertunistic predator.

Amani goes to the shade, tired.

Jia continues foraging.

After persistant digging, Enkozi finally finds a beetle larvae. He looks at it confused before quickly scoffing it down.

Karma slips into a contented deep sleep.

Tsumae lets out a large yawn, turning over onto her back. She decided to sleep some more.

Amani also falls to sleep.

Jia and Enkozi both continue foraging.

Karma sleeps on. Occassionally, she murmurs and twitches her paws as she goes through a series of dreams.

Elena gently grooms the side of her slightly bulged belly, deciding to relax and not worry.

Karma chatters in a way that sounds like she's giggling in her sleep as she dreams about playing tag with a boisterous juvenile yellow mongoose.

Jupiter shakes her head and resumes sentry duty, knowing it'd be costly if she slacked off for too long.

Puzzle also continues his own sentry duty, looking around all over.

Nashita finally felt full. Deciding to rest like most of the others, she went and laid down under the protection of a bush, closing her eyes and deciding to relax.

Topaz finishes her grooming with Jet and looks around, noticing most of everyone were relaxing. When she was done with forging, she decided she'd relax too. But first, she was still hungry.

Karma twitches her limbs in a slight motion that makes her look like she's running. She churrs in pleasure.

Jia and Enkozi continue foraging.

As the teenage yellow mongoose's friends joined in on the game of tag which was now taking place in a thicket of tall grass, Karma's dream ends abruptly and she wakes up. She growls to herself grumpily. Awww dung beetle poop! The dream was getting good! Why'd it have to end at the fun part?! Yawning pleasantly, she gets to her feet feeling refreshed after that nice long nap.

Horrendous is a sleep

Aaron walks around trying to bite his tail

Karma watches Aaron attempt to catch his tail in amusement.

Jia joins Amani in the shade and falls to sleep.

Enkozi also gives in and joins the rest of the group.

With most of the group resting, Jupiter and Puzzle keep up with their sentry duty. As the dominants, it was their duty to ensure the safety of the group before themselves.

Nashita curls up against the nearest meerkat, who happened to be Elena, chrring in content before getting herself cozy.

Topaz continued to forge, still a bit peckish and also wanted to be sure Jet was fed as well.

Taking notice that most of the group is snoozing, Karma makes her awake self useful by helping Jupiter and Puzzle keep watch for predators. The more eyes there are to scan the landscape, the better the chance of them warning the complacent meerkats of danger in time.

Elena smiles at Nashita and lets the pups be with her.

Amani and Jia are asleep.

Enkozi goes into the shade and looks around, bored and hoping to see something interesting.

Karma keeps up her vigilant watch, not letting anything divert her attention from this important duty, not even for a second.

Jet continues to stick close to Topaz, always present in the older pup’s shadow. He was grateful of her care and attention, but didn’t want to be over greedy at her generosity.
Trying to aid her search, he began pawing at the loose sand mimicking Topaz’s technique.

With Enzoki safely in the shade with the group, Sanders sat on his back legs watching the tops of the grass swaying softly in the breeze. Content in the warmth, he closed his eyes and tried to imagine his father Stratus on sentry duty on the day of the fire.

Every once in a while, Jupiter would look over at the group resting up to ensure no one was missing and that the pups were nearby before going back to her duty. She would also some times glance over at Elena, with a look of uncertainty.

Puzzle continued to scan the area, not allowing anything to keep him distracted.

Nashita smiles back at Elena and gets comfy, soon drifting to sleep.

Topaz watches Jet attempt to dig with a small smile. He'll learn soon enough. She continued to forge herself.
