Elena is still asleep.

Alethia wakes up, but she doesn't want go outside just yet and stays where she is, half-asleep.

Karma is asleep, raveled around her pups.

Boomslang is asleep.

Nashita is also asleep.

Alethia rolls onto her back lazily, in no hurry to leave the burrow. Puzzle is still asleep.

Boomslang is laying flat on his back with his back feet up in the air and tongue sticking out as he sleeps onXD

Nashita has her head rested on Boomslang's stomach.

Karma shifts but doesn't wake up.

Jupiter slowly awakes from her sleep. Her scratches on her eye had long healed, but left scars as well, forever reminding the young female of the fight she had with Melrose and evicting her. She had also gotten used to her role as dominate female of the splinter group. Not much had really happened since that fateful day, things had finally calmed down for the most part. She slowly stands up, stretching her slender body out and shaking the sand from her fur. Most of the others were still asleep. She slowly goes out of the bolt hole, looking around as she did. She sat down near the entrance, watching the surrounding area.

Topaz was still asleep, sleeping near the other older pups. She had gotten over her trauma with the fire, but still was a bit edgy from the event. Otherwise, she wasn't too bad with it. Being with the other pups and spending time with the new litters helped her stay more calm.

Unable to sleep, Fletcher Renn sat at the burrow mouth, eager to be heading out.
Cloud Catcher slept by Splash.
Lyric yawned and rolled over, wanting to sleep a little longer.

ooc: Did Cleo used to be called Senji?

ooc: You forgot Jia on the list. She's one of Bahiya's pups.

bic: Amani emerges and looks around.

Enkozi is still asleep.

Jia is still asleep.

ooc: Jia is on the list??

Karma awakens with a stretch and a yawn. She's laying beside her pups, watching them sleep with a soft smile on her face. She still has no idea of what happened to Miracle but has accepted the fact that she's gone. Either she'll cross paths with her in the future or never find out what her fate was. She's even adjusted to life in the splinter group. She feels secure with Jupiter as the new reliable leader and now Morning Glory and the rest of Tiny Kats have become a distant memory to her. She nuzzles her pups nurturingly before getting up to head for the burrow entrance.

Boomslang rolls on his side unintentionally pushing Nashita off him.

Nashita's head hits the groud but she doesn't feel it or wake up from what would usually be a rude awakening.

ooc: Correct, Dipsy.

Having not shaken the grief of losing his adoptive parents and his remaining littermate all in one day, Sanders had actually found a reason to accept a small chunk of his personal pain in the form of protecting his little younger brother (cousin actually). Having been the runt of the litter, Jet had been slow on his development but was now able to stand for longer periods on his short legs.
Since his littermates had surfaced a few days ago, today was Jet’s day to experience the sunlight and the wonder of the Kalahari.
Proudly leading the way, Sanders hurried out of the sleeping chamber and bounded up the slope to the surface with ease. It was only a few months ago that he as a youngster had struggled to climb a similar incline.

Karma emerges to find the day a gorgious one. She stands up on her hind legs next to the burrow entrance and suns herself.

Boomslang wakes up but lays where he is.

Nashita also wakes up but gets motivated right away. She can't wait to experiance the new outside world again. She, Boomslang and their siblings emerged recently and both took to the new environment quickly. Getting up the burrow slope was a little challenging but once they accomplished climbing up the steep slope, both were astonished to see the beautiful world outside the confinement of the dark burrow.

Jupiter peeps a greeting to Karma when she sees her. She believed she had been doing well in leading this splinter group, though, she did miss Morning Glory and the others. But, like most, she had accepted the fact they were possibly gone and had died in the fire. She just hoped she could keep up with keeping the splinter group together and become a stronger group. But, knowing everyone supported her, she knew she had nothing to fear.

Topaz continued to sleep.

Karma suns herself in a good mood. It may not be the exact right time to be happy go lucky as the facts of Morning Glory and the rest of the group dying in the fire could be true but there are things to be grateful for here in the splinter group. They have a stable and a good head on her shoulders dominant female and to top it all off, some of the pups have emerged, including Karma's remaining few. She had thought she'd never see this day but with this litter, fate was kind to her.

Boomslang looks up at the ceiling as he day dreams. He still isn't ready to get up yet.

Nashita bounds up the burrow slope with ease. It was only a few days ago she struggled to get to the top but it seems she's triumphed the obsticle quickly.

Elena wakes up and emerges. She starts to sun herself near the others. In her birth mob, things always changed quickly for better or worst, and she's learned to adapt with ease.

Jupiter was pleased to see most of the group accepting what had happened and were moving on. She knew some still were adapting to the new lifestyle that had been forced on this splinter group. But this group had been strong. She knew some of the members still needed time to heal from the events, physically and emotionally. But hopefully, today would be a good day. And hopefully, more of the newer generations would start coming out. Most already had, and more still had to try. She couldn't wait to see if anymore were bold enough to try today.

Karma looks over at Elena and peeps a good morning. She's taking notice that everyone appears to be taking the group split in stride

Boomslang gets to all 4s and crawls his way towards the burrow entrance.

Nashita sits next to Jupiter and looks up at her with her eyes gleaming in innoncence. She's adjusted to being seperated from her mother and has begun to see Jupiter as her step in mother.

Jupiter looks down at Nashita, smiling gently and giving the young pup a loving nuzzle. She was well aware the young pup had began seeing her as a step in mother, and it made the young female feel happy. She had always desired to have pups of her own, and helping taking care of the pups in this splinter group was helping with that dream. Even if none of the pups were hers, she still was happy.

Elena peeps a greeting back and warms up.

ooc- Is DW really slow right now, or is it just me? The loading is taking a long time.

ooc: I'm having loading problems as well.

ooc - it's going a bit slow for me, too. I had to reload the page twice before I could log on.

bic - Alethia emerges from the burrow, looking forwards to the new day. She's getting used to life in the splinter group, and though she misses the others she's getting used to the idea that this split could be permanent. She peeps a hello to others above ground, before standing up on her hind legs and sunning herself.

Nashita churrs with pleasure when Jupiter nuzzles her. She leans against her as a way of snuggling up to her.

Boomslang reaches the burrow entrance and charges up the slope with ease. He prances around excited about being outside the burrow.

Karma scans the horizon as she suns herself cheerfully. She peeps a morning greeting to Alethia.

ooc: You're having the same problem too? I thought it was my internet connection that was causing DW to be slow.

((OOC: Mine aren't too bad. Then again, my Internet connections haven't been too cooperative lately, so, some times, it takes a bit for the page to load.))

Jupiter smiles more when Nashita snuggles up with her. It made her feel very happy, and very warm inside. This was a wonderful feeling, and she was pleased to be experiencing the feeling. She returned the greeting to Alethia as well.
