Roleplay- 3rd of December (Comets)

Amani watches Nashita and Boomslang, hoping they don't hurt themselves.

Jia giggles, not noticing that they were close to the drie-doring bush.

Karma is distracted by a loud rumble coming from her stomach. She's hungry. She waits patiently for Jupiter to sound the lead calls.

Nashita pushes Boomslang off her and pins him down in the sand. She playfully snaps at his nose.

Boomslang lightly squirms, trying to slip free. He playfully snaps at Nashita's jaws.

Jupiter notices everyone was hungry, and she was hungry herself, truthfully. After all, there was a big group to feed, adults and pups alike. Feeling it was time to go and forge, she sends out calls.

Karma follows licking her chops. She can't wait to chow down. Suddenly she remembers something and stops. Looking over shoulder and eyeing the 2 playful pups Boomslang and Nashita, she realizes someone has to stay behind to babysit the pups.

Boomslang and Nashita sit up when they hear Jupiter's lead calls. They begin to follow the departing adults but they don't realize they're still too young to leave burrow grounds.

Elena follows Jupiter, also hungry.

Karma had turned her head at the moment Boomslang and Nashita began to follow the group. She doesn't realize them following.

Boomslang and Nashita launch into a run, the first time their tiny legs have ever been put to this kind of test. They're not very adapt to it yet and become exahusted very easily. There's absolutely no way they're ready strike out away from the burrow.

Amani and Jia watch the group leave the burrow.

Alethia and Puzzle respond to Jupiter's lead calls, following closely behind her.

Karma picks up the pace, eager to get going.

Boomslang and Nashita wail contact calls wanting the adults to wait for them. They're barely able to match their walking pace at this age, let alone are barely even ready to leave burrow grounds.

occ: are there any pups in the burrow ?

May wakes up late she sits at the burrow entrance and decides shes too tired to go out foraging she rests her head on her paws sleepelly

Jiggy wakes up and dosent notice his sister at the entrance he runs trying to catch up with the group but is falling behind because of Mel Roses Vicious attack ,

ooc: Yes Enkozi is still too young to emerge.

ooc: Also Karma's litter, some of Morning Glory's litter and Bahiya's litter are still too young to go foraging with the adults I think those are the litters that are with the Comets...

May sits up as she decides she is babysitting today ,

Jiggy heads back to the burrow his leg is still too injured to walk on it for long distances .

ooc: Yes I think so.

Karma hears Jiggy's alarm and stops. She looks around for the cause then spots Melrose watching the group from a distance. She growls. This female just won't give up will she?

Boomslang is startled by the alarm and stands close to Nashita for protection. He sees Melrose and bobs his head. He knows that the adults don't want her around so he's wary towards her.

Nashita is also startled and clings to Boomslang, scared. She sees Melrose and growls in a pupish way.

Jupiter also hears Jiggy's alarm and stops in her tracks, looking back and spotting Melrose. A growl escapes from her throat. So much for hoping that Melrose finally left... She knew Melrose was a threat, she had already attacked more than once, and the recent attack on Jiggy still proved she was a huge threat, especially toward the pups. Sending out more calls, Jupiter charged at Melrose. Forging would have to wait, she wanted to be sure Melrose was FAR from the bolt hole and away from the pups.

Karma leaps into the air, breaking into a formidable looking wardance. Melrose has proven that she's threat many times and will not be tolerated near the burrow especially when there's pups prescent.

Boomslang and Nashita watch the adults assert their authority to the unwanted Melrose with interest. This is one of the many lessons they'll be learning about their society.

Elena follows in the wardance.

Puzzle joins the wardance. At the current time, it was far too risky to allow Melrose to come near the burrow. Alethia considers following for a moment, but decides to return to the burrow, to help defend the pups should Melrose try and harm them.

Boomslang and Nashita run to Alethia for comfort. Seeing the adults react hositly towards Melrose, they've learned she could pose a threat to their young lives.

Karma barks angrily as she advances closer to Melrose.

Jiggy follows but is still injured so dosent get too close he goes back to the burrow to protect the pups .

May starts furiously War Dancing towards Mel Rose , MelRose hurt her brother and she pay with her life .

Amani and Jia sit at the entrance of the burrow, bored.

May and Jiggy run fast after Mel Rose and stop after about 1 1/2 hours .

occ: they are now in TK territory

ooc: Wait did you have Jiggy and May chase Melrose that far and that long? If so it wouldn't be possible. meerkats can't run for an hour in a half straight plus I think we should give Flower a chance to respond first before attacking or chasing Melrose off. Also remember that it takes more than one post to get somewhere.

ooc- That's way out of line. I'll just ignore that.

ic- Elena snarls. They all want Melrose gone.

Karma growls angrily. She also wants Melrose to leave now.

Boomslang and Nashita huddle close to Alethia, keeping their eyes locked on Melrose warily.
