Roleplay- 3rd of December (Comets)

Unaware of the owl attack at the burrow, Amani looks around.

Noticing that not all the foraging party has heard his warning calls, Puzzle barks louder. Alethia strengthens his alarm calls with some of her own.

Karma jolts at Alethia and Puzzle's alarm calls, causing the half eaten scorpion to drop from her mouth. She spots the eagle owl perched in the tree and finally realizing the extreme danger she's in, frantically runs around looking for a bolt hole to shelter in.

Jiggy digs in the sand , he bolts to the rest of the group when he hears the alarm calls , he sees his sister May isnt here and makes louder and more urgent alarm calls .

May looks around confused when she hears alarm calls , she bolts to the safety of the group

Karma spots the group gathering several feet from her and dashes for the protection of their safty in numbers.

Jiggy peeps to May glad she is alright he then turns to Karma and also peeps , glad she is also unharmed

May nods and smiles she goes to Karma and grooms her

Elena heads down to the bottom of the other bolthole, barking for Bandit to find safety.

Karma is relieved to see that May and Jiggy are safe. She's still concerned though, not everyone has made to safty yet. She looks around nervously for the other members.

Jupiter makes it over to the small group, looking around and trying to spot any other missing meerkats in the forging group. She lets out some of her own warning calls, making them as loud as she could.

Amani watches some baby ground squirrels play nearby.

Puzzle and Alethia continue their alarm calls for a little while longer, to make sure that everyone hears them.

May sounded louder alarm calls and climbed onto a bush to see further.

Jiggy looked around and watched as Puzzle , Alethia , Jupiter and May were sounding alarm calls , he stood on a rock looking for any missing members but returned empty handed he sighed and sat down

occ : A bird of prey has perched near by , most of the group are under a tree . but Elena and Bandit are in a bolt hole

Karma keeps her eyes locked on the eagle owl. She's startled when she discovers it's eyes are fixated on the gathering group. She shreiks barking alarm calls, warning the gathered members that they've been spotted.

Unaware of the danger occuring at the foraging party, Boomslang and Nashita have gotten distracted from their play by the baby ground squirells playing near by. They watch them with intrigue.

Bandit glanced at Elena.

Elena looks at Bandit. She doesn't mind waiting out the predator threat in here. She kind of likes Bandit.

Bandit smiled at Elena.

Karma turns her body, facing the eagle owl. She stares it down bravely. She's poised to take defensive action if it launches an assault.

Elena smiles back and moves a little closer.

Karma shrieks a startled bark and ducks in fear when the eagle owl makes a sudden movement but when it fails to take flight, she straightens her posture but remains on high alert. The eagle owl could launch at the group at any time. She looks around nervously, almost at a panic stricken point when it appears not everyone has made it to safty.

Amani is also back at the burrow, oblivious to the owl at the foraging group and is also watching the young ground squirrels.

Jupiter recounts the group, noticing that Elena and Bandit were still missing. Boldly, she stepped away from the group, sending out calls. She was well aware she was exposing herself to an attack, but she was more concerned about Elena and Bandit than about her own safety at the moment.

Puzzle spots Jupiter breaking away from the safety of the group, and calls to her anxiously.

Alethia has her eyes fixed on the owl, not wanting to risk turning her head away.

Karma notices Jupiter seperating from the group and peeps worried. Anyone straying from the group now could get them killed. She's oblivious that Elena and Bandit are missing and doesn't know that's the reason why Jupiter is putting her life at risk.
