Roleplay- 16th of December

Teetsie releases Buckeye with a snarl. She doesn't want to kill her rival. Not yet. she snarls and lashes out at her face.

Meanwhile....Saffron is standing in the midst of the battle glancing around in distress. She had become seperated from Josephine after panicing when she spotted Tank barreling towards her protector. She's completely disoriented and terrified and has no clue where Josephine is. She emits distress calls hoping Josephine will hear them and come to her aide, but by making herself known, she's putting her life at risk. If she lures in a rival, she could be killed.

Buckeye gasps for air as she is released from Teetsie's grip. She is caught of surprise when her rival swipes her face. Buckeye snarls and snaps at Teetsie in a feeble attempt to grab her paw.

Jackie is caught by surprise when Brian grabs the scruff of her neck. Being a small female, she is easily pulled off Aliya. She snarls unhappily and flails, swipes her paw towards him, hoping to make him let her go.

Snowflake sees Jackie get taken by Brian. Now it was just him and Aliya. He almost blindly lunges at her. Aliya snarls and dodges, still not wating to harm him. Snowflake was not a member of the Midnights and therefore was not an immediate threat.

Eztli continues his assault on Suri. As he goes to swipe her face again, she grabs his paw with her fangs. She begins to tighten her grip on his paw, in an attempt to disarm him. Eztli yips and in shock, tries to free his paw by tugging backwards. As Suri tightens her grip, Eztli is causing his paw more damage by moving it.

ooc: Did Conker die?


Cactus' vision returns, but at this point, he is looking is another direction and still knows nothing about his brother's luck in the battle. Bored, he leaps back into battle, keeping alert for an attacker or victim.

ooc: No. He's just knocked out cold.

Conker lays motionless in front of the bolder he collided into. Having hit the hard obsticle head first, it's most likely he'll suffer a concution but it's uncertain what damage has been done to him until he awakens.

Bravo continues in his attempts to maul Ninja and avenge his sister. Fueled by rage and having avoiding much of the fighting until now, he has a lot more energy to use than one who's been fighting the entire time, like Ninja.

Ninja's wounds are bleeding profusely and he's begining to feel light headed. He frantically tugs in the opposite direction of his enraged foe in an attempt to pull himself free but it's futile. Bravo is latched on to him firmly and it seems he doesn't plan on letting go until Ninja's life functions have ceased.

John's heart rate sky rockets to fear as he sees Ninja weakening. No, no! Come on Ninja, just hang in there! His eyes focus on Bravo, intending to give the male the amount of pain he was forcing Ninja to endure. He shoves and dodges fangs and claws, getting closer to coming to Ninja's aid. He refused to allow him to die, Linda couldn't bare it.

Root bites Ashtail's shoulder, shaking his head a few times and backed off, dodging her claws in time.

Ashtail snarls in frustration. Hold still you little whelp!

Bravo smirks and clamps down on front of Ninja's neck, trying to suffocate him to death.

Ninja gags and struggles to breathe. Fear strikes him as he realizes he's now only mere minutes from death. He needs to stay strong for Linda and his children. They're counting on him to return safe and sound but he's too exhausted to fight back, let alone lift up one of his limbs. Ninja's frail condition isn't the only thing preventing him from defending himself. The pain he's enduring is agonizing and has rendered him paralyzed. Ninja's chances of surviving this scuffle are looking upsettingly grim. If he dies, Linda will be devastated, mostly to the point where she won't want to go on. His pups would also face a future of growing up without their father there to proudly watch them as they learn to dig, babysit, perform sentry duty and other important responsibilities. No! He won't die! Not now, not when he has family to support and protect. He vowed he'd be there when his children emerge, forage and learn other important niches that are beneificial for their survival. He's determined to keep that commitment. Ninja gets a boost of confidance and strength and swings his left paw at Bravo, smacking him over the muzzle. He must fight for his family!

Ninja's swipe hits dangerously close to his eye and he lets go, dazed momentarily. He tries to attck once more, unaware that his assumption his sister and her pups are dead may actually doom them.

Ninja gasps in relief as Bravo released him from his choke hold. Now that his foe is stunned, Ninja sees the chance to escape. He drags himself in the opposite direction then struggles to his feet and staggers to safty, which is in the shelter of a bush. He collapses in defeat.

Bravo soon recovers from the stun and smirks, seeing Ninja can take no more. Time for the killing blow he's been waiting a long time for. He pursues Ninja and grabs Ninja's leg with his mouth in a powerful clamp, unaware that someone is coming to Ninja's aid.

Wilson slowly rouses and staggers to his feet, defeated and in agonizing pain. His face and the ground below him are stained with blood and his vision impaired, as Duke has inflicted a wound to great even for him to bear. He's lost his left eye.

Ninja lets out an involuntary whine as he feels agonizing pain shoot up his leg. He realizes Bravo isn't finished with him yet, but for this second round he doesn't plan on going down easily. Still able to muster some strength, Ninja kicks repeatedly at Bravo's face in an attempt to dislodge his snagged leg.

John finally got pass the major fighting and without a second thought, charges at Bravo, leaping and attempts to pounce on the male while Ninja had him distracted. While Ninja was fighting back, he was weakened and needed help.

Snowflake lunges at Aliya once again. Aliya attempts to dodge once again, but Snowflake's claws catch her back left leg as she leaps out of the way. She yips and turns around, eyeing Snowflake with a faked malicious look and fluffs out her fur, hoping to scare him. Snowflake eyes Aliya nervously and hesitates.

Suri still has Eztli's paw locked in her jaws. Eztli yips in pain as blood begins trickling down his from his front leg. Suri releases her grip and headbutts the still-distracted Eztli. Eztli falls backwards and hits his head on the ground, suddenly caught in a daze. Suri stares at her enemy. She now knew he had killed her brother. He had also tried to kill her. She snarls and goes to bite his neck, end his life and her need for vengeance. As her teeth begin to touch Eztli's throat, she freezes. Would doing this make her any better than him? She moves back, still staring at his frozen body. Killing him wouldn't bring Little Boy back. She turns away from him and goes to look for another meerkat to fight off, not notcing the blood she was also losing from her injuries. Eztli still lies there in a daze, watching Suri leaving his side, confused.

Meg watches the fighting meerkats, still too shocked to look away.
Snicker is beside Meg and has regained full consciousness again. He gets up, grunting at the pain in his limbs and begins watching the fight once again.

Believing the uncontious Black Widow to be dead, Romeo turned and ran back out and into the battle.

Black Widow's motionless form lays sprawled out on the "trench" floor. Her breathing has become significantly shallow, as if it doesn't look like she's breathing at all. She's struggling to keep her grip on life, and as the minutes pass, it's looking less likely she's going to make it.

Ninja is grateful for John coming to his aide. His interferance may have saved his life. He throws a confidant smirk at Bravo. Looks like the tables are about to be turned. He can see Bravo is slightly exhausted while John looks like he's still going strong. The Willows male could most likely be at a disadvantage in this next scuffle.

Saffron scurries across the battle field, dodging jaws and claws in her path. Occassionally, she stops and gives out contact calls, hoping Josephine is able to hear them and come to her rescue but the distressed little pup is in the middle of the tumbling, scrambling and shuffling bodies of the fighting meerkats. Her protector being able to find her in this confusion is going to be extremely difficult.

Bravo growls and tugs on Ninja's leg with great force as John attacks him until he lets go and focuses on John. If he's lucky Ninja won't make the trip home and will die before he can return to ruining females' lives.

Ninja is yanked out of the bush by Bravo's mighty pull and when he is released, he winces from his rival's fangs raking down his leg, scoring it with deep gashes in some places. The fresh wound bleeds heavily, draining more blood from Ninja's anemic body. He lays critically wounded on the ground, unable to move and appearing to be near death.

John snaps at Bravo's face and and swipes at the male's shoulder. He was more than ready to lay down his life to ensure Ninja survived this battle. He has a family back at the burrow awaiting for his return. They needed him. John was going to ensure this male would pay dearly for trying to take a father away from his children, and also try to take away a loving male who loved his mate, Linda, more than anything else in the world. Why doesn't Bravo pick a fight with someone who could actually fight at full strength?! Attacking a weaker opponent was very low. It was like attacking a defensiveness pup, and John wouldn't tolerate that kind of behavior!

Bravo yelps as John leaves a deep gash on his shoulder and returns the swipe, smirking as Ninja's life seems to be hanging in the balance. He'e eager to end this, and watchs to dispatch John quickly so he can return to Ninja.

Ninja remains laying on his back in agonizing pain, resting in a pool of his own blood that surrounds his mangled body. His breathing gradually grows more labored and his vision becomes blurry. As he stares up helplessy and hopelessly at the blurry looking sky in a state of meloncholy, an image of Linda and his children lights up in his mind. His condition is so critical, he becomes devastated, believing he may never get to see them again. His chances of being able to trek home to say his good byes looks extremely grim. Tragically, Linda may have to go on without him to raise their first litter. Bravo's heinousness makes him as low as the perpatrators who heartlessly killed his 2 pups. Bravo had callously taken advantage of a defenseless meerkat, it's equal to cruely killing a defensless pup. What would Linda think of Bravo if she ever finds out he ruthlessly killed her frail mate out of revenge, of which is actually for nothing? She'd be horrified and enraged, not wanting to associate with him any more. That's what Ninja believes the scenario would be.

John winced as some gashes appeared on his chest from Bravo, blood dripping from them. He bristles his fur, showing no sign of backing off. He then lunges at Bravo, hoping to pin the other male down.

Snowflake begins backing away from Aliya. Aliya continues staring at him, daring him to attack her once again. Snowflake continues backing away.

Jackie snarls at Brian and swats at him.

Buckeye continues defending herself from Teetsie.

Eztli still lies on the ground, motionless. He finally gets up and looks around in shock. For a moment, he thought his life was over... Suri had spared him. Eztli watches Suri for a moment, pending over what to do. His paw was throbbing, and he had no interest in using it. He continues watching her, transfixed.

Suri looks around for an oppenant, unaware of the amount of blood she'd just lost. She was begining to feel dizzy, but ignored it and continued looking around.
