Roleplay- 16th of December

ooc- Saja was one of LPZ's pups that was adopted and renamed.

ic- Bravo sets Ariel down and watches what Tank decides to do.

Ariel runs into the burrow.

ooc: Oh, ok, Sorry. ^^'

ooc: Yeah, Saja was originally named Redwood. I disliked the name and decided to change it to something more exotic:3 She's littermate to Carmella and olivia, the same litter Triscuit and Snicker were born in.

Tank arrives at the burrow simultaneously with the rest of the group. He's relieved to see his brother and Damian are uninjured but he take notice something is wrong. They appear to be glum. His heart starts to palpitate rapidly, fearing something terrible has happened while they were away. Soon, his fear will be justified.

Saja reaches the burrow a few moments later, panting heavily. She had sprint to keep up with the group. Preoccupied with trying to catch her breath, she doesn't notice the gloomy moods about the babysitters.

Lancaster is relieved when every Willow reaches the burrow but his relief soon turns to sorrow. He shakily gets to his feet, reluctant but needing to deliver them some tragic news. With his mind on his current issue, he doesn't notice the lifeless bodies of his niece and nephew yet.

Ashtail notices the gloomy feel in the air, and looks at Lancaster questioningly. D... Did something happen? They were about to learn not only was Triscuit and Snicker killed by Ghost's claws, but also one of Luna's pups lost its life to the merciless rover as well.

Molly continued to look around her new home as they approached the burrow. She was more focused on trying to remember her new area to really notice the babysitter's sorrowful moods.

ooc: I'm leaving to hang out with some friends. I won't be back til later tonight. Try not to post too much while gone please.

Lancaster's heart is now pounding against his chest. He expects when the Willows find out his irresponsibility cost an innocent pup its life, he's going to be bombarded with enraged scowls and scoldings. At first, as he tries to deliver the news, his throat dries up, sending a burning sensation through his esophogus. Eventually, he manages to explain what happened. Ghost ambushed the burrow and killed one of Luna's infants. If only I was being vigilant, If only I had my gaurd up and wasn't being lazy, I would have spotted him in time to thwart his blood thirsty mission. I'm sorry I let this happen. I wasn't taking my shift as a setinal seriously when he attacked. It's all my fault Luna's pup is dead. Lancaster lowers his head, ashamed of himself. Too wrapped up in his his plight, he has forgotten whether he spotted him or not, he would've failed anyway. Ghost has proven to be clever, stealthy and calculating. That dust storm trick of his would've disoriented him if he had used it, rendering him helpless to stop his murderous mission.

Tank's jaw drops, releasing Triscuit who plummets to the ground, in horrified shock at the devestating news. First Triscuit, then Snicker now one of Luna's pups?! Tank digs his claws into the ground in anger, not directed at his brother but at Ghost. This male HAS to be stopped. He's killed 3 pups too many in one day. The murder of Luna's pup makes him more determined than ever to bring Ghost to justice.

Mozart looked at Lancaster WHAT!? she looked at him, aghast, and she looked around teeth bared.

Ashtail's eyes widen. Another pup was also killed by Ghost!? Just when she thought she couldn't hate that male anymore, she was wrong. Her hatred toward Ghost now burned hotter and brighter than a thousand suns. Lancaster... It... its not your fault completely. Ghost... he's very clever. He would of found a way... Even if you had your guard up. He did live up to his name... Sneaking in and striking without warning, and somehow managed to escape and disappear like a ghost. He'll be one dead meerkat the next time this mob saw him. They'll want his blood spilled more than ever now they knew a third life had been taken by him...

Molly hears Lancaster and she actually felt anger. This rover killed a THIRD pup?! This rover was... just plain merciless. Despite being the newest member of this mob, she felt she lost a piece of herself. She disliked hearing pups being killed in such a merciless way. This rover would pay! Somehow, some day! She'll be sure to be there to witness his death if he showed up in this territory.

Bravo's reaction is met immediately with shock and anger. With Ninja gone, Ghost has now become his main enemy. If he finally caught up with Ninja and finished him off, He's sure the entire mob will catch up with Ghost, eventually.

Lancaster makes eye contact with Ashtail, remembering Ghost's clever tricks. That's right, he can kick up dust as a divertion to escape or distract his foes from attempting to thwart his mission to assasinate a mob's generation. He recognizes even if he tried his utmost hardest to foil Ghost, he would've failed anyway. Lancaster is also at a disadvantage. He's slightly smaller than the average adult male meerkat. The heartless bruiser would've vanquished him in a minute flat. It was inevitable whether he tried to defend the pups' lives or not Ghost would succeed in killing them either way. Ghost is just an astonishingly clever meerkat. It seems it's impossible to outsmart him. But some day, his luck WILL run out. He vows to make it up to the pup he failed to protect by helping the Willows bring Ghost to justice and aiding them in executing him.

Tank senses his brother's ashamed vibe and looks at him frowning with pity. He doesn't believe it's his fault at all Ghost killed one of Luna's pups. He knows even if he tried protecting the infants, he'd inevitably be overpowered. Ghost is huge. Lancaster wouldn't have stood a chance if he attempted to fight him off. The tragedy was certaintly unavoidable. Tank sighs glumly. He can sympathize with his brother. He still feels it was partly his fault Triscuit and Snicker were killed. He allowed them to stray from his protective perimeter and he payed a terrible cost for it. Like his brother, he was lulled into a false sense of security by the decievingly tranquil atmosphere. Just because everything seems safe doesn't mean there's no danger lurking in the nearest bush. It's important you ALWAYS remain aware of what's going around you. A tranquil atmosphere can turn deadly in a split second, as they both have learned today.

Saja freezes up with horrified shock as she heard that a third pup was killed by Ghost. Another defenseless Willow pup fell victim to this atrocious male?! This can't be happening! Saja's blood boils. She will make sure to help bring Ghost to justice. She wants to help end his pup killing career for good the next time the Willows spot him lurking around in their territory.

Mozart nuzzled the side of Lancaster's face, she looked him straight in the eye It Wasn't your fault and don't you dare think that! He's a merciless killer, it wasn't your fault! . Tears spilled down her face but she didn't look away, she wasn't ashamed, this merciless killer was going to die for what he did to this group and the pain he caused! Mozart rushed into the burrow, she entered all the chambers until she came to Luna's, it had been confirmed, there on the floor of the burrow chamber, lay the twisted, mangled body of Ghost's last murder victim. She rushed to the body and licked it, she held it close horrified and started gagging. Ghost was certainly going to pay and Mozart would make sure of that. She came above ground, her head lowered and she nodded, there was blood on Mozart's stomach and chest from where she had tried to revive the small pup, it hadn't worked, and now she felt horrible. She groggily sat down, head lowered and she let her tears gush from her eyes.

Carmella continues away from the group...

Clover and Grace are both shocked at the news... Grace is a little angry about it, Clover is more on the sad side, but both feel fear related to Ghost at this point...

Lancaster feels better knowing that nobody blamed him for the death of Luna's pup. He has come to realize the death would've been unavoidable whether he tried his best or not to protect the targeted pup. Mozart's right. Ghost is a cold blooded pup killer with brute strength and a notoriously disorienting trick. He wouldn't have stood a chance fighting against him, let alone holding him off for a long time. He has learned once Ghost is adamant to achieve wiping out a mob's future generation, he'll kill anyone who gets in his way. Maybe it was a good idea he steered clear of Ghost, other wise he wouldn't be here with the mob right now. He knows if he died attempting to ensure the pups survived, it would've been in vain, as they would've been killed too.

Tank watches Mozart decend into the burrow. Is that where the heinous crime took place? Must've been because he doesn't see the particular pup any where within the vicinity of the burrow, unless Ghost took the poor thing along with him for who knows what reason. Curious but reluctant to see if the burrow is where the deceased pup lies, Tank places Triscuit's lifeless body down on the ground before following Mozart into the dark tunnel.

Saja's heart pulsates rapidly as she watched Mozart head into the burrow to investigate the possible crime scene. Something tells her some where in the tunnel complex is where the struggle took place and it's where Luna's pup is laying dead on the floor. She squeezes her eyes shut, not wanting to see what will be a gory sight.

Mozart sobbed and looked at Lancaster, she needed comfort and with Lancaster and Tank being the only males she'd become friends with , she shuffled close to Lancaster and placed her head on his shoulder.

ooc: I forgot about Sarah, so I'll be playing her... I'd like to assume she was with Lancaster, because before I had her look up to him and follow him around... Unless that's a problem... Also, I'd like to point out again that she's not much of a talker...

bic: Sarah cuddles up to Lancaster... Today had been frightening for her...

ooc: Ok. Oh yeah I forgot about Sarah tooXD. It's so adorable that she looks up to Lancaster:3 I like the bond they have:)

Lancaster wraps his arms around Mozart and Sarah, embracing them both in a comforting hug. After such a tragic day, some much needed comfort is what all of them can use now.

Mozart smiled and churred, she put her head on Lancaster's shoulder.

ooc: I do too. :3 I'm actually going to make Sarah a mute... I know in the past she's talked but I'm changing it, if that's ok...

Sarah chrred and cuddled closer to Lancaster... Not sure she wanted to ever leave his side... (clingy little girl xD)

Mozart looked at Sarah with an adoring grin on her face, she snuggled closer to her and Lancaster, needing the comfort right now.

Ashtail also goes into the burrow. She soon sees Luna's lifeless pup and felt her blood boiling dangerously. Ghost, like he did to Triscuit and Snicker, showed absolutely no mercy for the pup. He had intended it to suffer as much as possible before its untimely death. She sighed heavily. This little one didn't even get a chance to leave the burrow and experience the outside.

Lancaster smiles softy as Mozart used his shoulder as a head rest. He doesn't mind at all that he's being latched on to by both Sarah and Mozart. Their comfort is helping to soothe his distress. In exchange, his compassion is also helping them to feel better as well. He especially thinks it's cute Sarah is clinging to him like a tick. He has begun to see her as a daughter and doesn't mind at all she tags along with him where ever he goes.

Tank arrives at the scene of the crime, gremacing in disgust as his eyes met the grisily sight of the pup's maimed, lifeless form. It's apparent Ghost showed no mercy at all for this poor, innocent little infant. His muscles tense up in anger and he digs his claws into the burrow floor, enraged. After witnessing a third innocent pup dead because of Ghost, he intends to kill the heartless male mercilessly.

Molly also followed, wanting to see what had taken place. When she caught up with Ashtail and Tank, she sees the dead pup and feels sick to her stomach. It was just like Triscuit and Snicker... Horribly maimed and shown no mercy. She whined and ran out of the burrow, not wanting to look at the lifeless pup no more. It was just too unbearable to look at.
