Roleplay- 16th of December

Bravo peeps back, saying that he's almost certain she's dead now, all because of Ninja. He then resumes walking, unaware that he's going to meet his foe today.

Ashtail looks ahead, unaware of Tank and Bravo's conversation about Bravo's sister. For now, she just wanted to eat. She was starving!

Unknown to the Willows forging group, a certain male was stalking toward the burrow. It was none other than Ghost, the "Vanishing" Rover and a well known pup killer. He hadn't been seen in a while as he had been healing from his failed attempts to kill some pups. Now he was refreshed and ready to try again. And this time, he felt confident he'll get away with taking some pup's lives away.

Tank gazes at the ground, heart broken. Bravo's right. There's no way Linda can be alive. Alone and pregnant, she wouldn't have stood a chance fending off a predator, plus she had a litter to sustain aside from herself which would be nearly impossible to accomplish on her own. It's been weeks since her dissappearance and all hopes of her being alive have faded. They'll just have to accept the fact that she's gone, never to emerge from the burrow to join the group in sun basking and bond strengthening grooming sessions, and daily foraging trips. It's all because of that pesky roving male Ninja. The next time they meet, he won't be getting away with his life. Unknown to him, fate has the Willows set to be on a collision course with his residing mob the Jumaa.

Triscuit has caught up with the traversing mob and matches her pace to her father's. She glances up at him and smiles admiringly. She loves her father very much and likes to be with him constantly. She glances over her shoulder, checking to see if Snicker is close behind. She's unaware the clever male that had tried to kill her has returned with muerderous intent.

Snicker walks by his sister.

Snowflake and Jackie walk side by side.

Buckeye starts digging for food when she's happy with the area.

Jackie, Snowflake and Meg also start foraging.

Ashtail doesn't waste time and begins to forge, eager to get some food in her stomach. Her first meal of the day was a gecko, which she grabs and devours quickly.

Ghost hides in the bushes nearby the burrow, his eyes scanning for any babysitters. If so, he'd have to sneak pass them without being spotted somehow. He could tell that burrow housed pups, and one way or another, he'll ensure he'll take at least one life away.

Famished, Tank digs into the ground rapidly, eager to find a hunger quenching meal. He's unaware that the extremely dangerous male, Ghost, is waiting to strike at the burrow.

Triscuit forages happily by her father's side, uttering satisfied churrs as she digs.

Lancaster is laying lazily on his stomach a few feet from the burrow entrance. He surveys the area, keeping watch for predators and strange males but not really putting a super observant effort into it. He's feeling rather lethargic and is kind of in a daze as he glances around. His lack of concentration could place the lives of the pups below ground in danger if a predator or muruading male were to catch him unawares and not taking his responsibility seriously.

Bravo starts to forage.

Ariel starts digging as well, having been improving in her foraging skills.

Ashtail continues to forge, unaware of a tragedy that was about to occur at the burrow.

Ghost spots Lancaster and a sly grin forms. That male was obviously not even trying at his duty. This would work to Ghost's advantage. Sneaking over quietly, Ghost leaps out and jumps on Lancaster, attempting to knock the male aside. Not only would this catch Lancaster off guard, he could possibly become stunned. Just what Ghost needed to ensure he can go into the burrow without being slowed down for a short time.

Tank munches on a beetle he found in satisfaction, unaware of the imminent danger at the burrow.

Triscuit pulls up a worm and devours the wriggly, slimy morsel quickly.

Lancaster is startled by Ghost's unexpected ambush. The force of the larger male's body colliding into his smaller, slimmer physique was enough to send him briefly airborne, then skidding a couple of feet across the ground, making him come within inches of slamming into a stump. If he had collided into the stump, the blunt impact would've most likely knocked him unconscience, rendering him helpless and useless. He lifts up his head and glances around in a daze, wondering what the heck just happened. Suddenly he realize the danger when his eyes fall upon an unsual looking male, his most promanent feature being his pale colored coat. Wait a minute...something seems terribly familiar about this stranger. Suddenly Lancaster remembers his brother Tank describing Ghost to him. He warned him to keep his eyes peeled for a bouncer built male with a pale colored coat and that if he ever encounters him to keep his distance. That would be Ghost and he's extremely dangerous. This stranger seems to match Ghost's description pefectly. Lancaster let's out a frightened chatter as he recognizes this intruder to be that deadly male. It's the notrious Ghost! And he's come with the intent to kill again! He becomes petrified remembering what he was told about what the heartless male is capable of and what he had attempted to accomplish. He's the merciless male who tried to kill his niece and nephew a week ago! Lancaster is so overcome by fear that he can't concentrate on fending him off to ensure the pups' survival, let alone is able to move and defend himself. His fearful paralysis may have sealed the fate of the precious innocent lives tucked protectively deep in the burrow. He cringes and trembles, bracing for himself to be the first victim of Ghost's bloodbath.

Buckeye is unaware of Ghost's assault on the burrow and is calmly foraging.

Snicker digs by Triscuit and Tank, but being young, is finding it difficult.

Jackie and Snowflake calmly forage as well.'

Meg also forages happily.

Ashtail continues to forge as well, unaware a life was about to be taken.

Ghost grins evilly, knowing he had Lancaster right where he wanted the male. He dashes at the burrow, going inside. It didn't take long for him to find Luna's pups. He grabs the closest pup and didn't waste time. He bit down on the pup's back and slammed it against the wall several times. The pup didn't even get a chance to yelp and became lifeless in seconds.

Tank pleasantly forages with his children, tragically unaware that a swift death had come to one of Luna's pups back at the burrow.

Triscuit notices her brother Snicker struggling to unearth a meal for himself, so she decides to help him by scanning the ground for above ground prey.

Lancaster is horrified as he watches Ghost invade the burrow. His conscience is screaming at him to get up and stop that pup killer but the muscles in his legs are tensed up, paralyzed by his fear. With all his might, he fights off his petrified state and pushes himself up on to all 4s. He HAS to stop Ghost, the pups lives are at stake and the mob is counting on him to keep their newest generation safe. He dives into the burrow, baring his fangs and braces himself for a fight to the death but he's unaware that he's too late...

Ashtail finds a scorpion and swiftly disarms it before munching on it.

Ghost looks at Lancaster as he came in, the pup he had just killed hanging lifelessly from the male's scarlet-stained jaws. Lancaster was mere seconds too late. This pup was already dead. He throws the lifeless, blood-stained pup at Lancaster, in an attempt to catch him off guard. He had accomplished his deed and now had no reason to be around. He knew Lancaster would slow him down if he tried to kill anymore pups. But he was satisfied, he had taken a life, as he desired. He dashes pass Lancaster, going out of the burrow and ran off, satisfied with his work.

((OOC: Gonna wait for everyone else to post before I go any further with this.))

Lancaster staggers back in horrified shock as the pup is tossed in his direction then lets out a brief, shrilled, horrified yip as it lands a mere few inches in front his paws. He's too paralyzed by the unexpected, blitzed, deadly assault to strike back in vengeful retaliation. He stares down at the lifeless little form, his heart breaking and feeling a wave of guilt coming over him. If he wasn't acting complacent this tragedy wouldn't have happened. Crushed because his act of heroics had come at a time too late, Lancaster collapses on his stomach, resting his head sorrowfully in between his paws. He compassionately brushes the side of his face against the dead pup's head while simultaneously uttering distraught whimpers.

Bravo continues to forage, unaware that more infant blood has been spilled at the burrow.

Damien, seeming to get a bit stronger each day, stands up on wobbly legs and finds his balance and yawns, stretching. He looks for Lancaster but sighs, seeing he is gone. along with Jackie

After digging 8 inches into the ground, Tank is rewarded with a juicy beetle. He devours it happily.

Triscuit continues on with her search for prey to give to her brother.

Unaware of the tragedy at the burrow and the fact that Damien is looking for her, Jackie is still foraging.

Buckeye is also unaware and continues foraging.

Snowflake and Meg are also still foraging.

Snicker peeps thanks to his sister's support and keeps digging, unaware of the danger she would soon be in.

Unaware of Damien searching for him and Jackie, Lancaster has his face pressed against the dead pup, crying histerically. He strongly feels it's his fault this happened. Maybe if his alertness was hieghtened, this unjustified, heartless murder wouldn't have occured. How could ha have been so irresponsible? Allowing his gaurd to be let down by his lack of motivation to want to perform sentry duty. His laziness cost an innocent pup their life. The Willows are going to kill him for allowing the blood thirsty male to get away with this callous act. Ghost will be braught to justice the next time he shows his blood thirsty intents around here again! Instead of him ending a life, it'll be his life that'll be cut short!

Tank is digging at a different spot, a blissful feeling about him.

Triscuit glances at her brother, expressing her generosity with a smile. She resumes her search for prey which is gradually taking her away from the safty of the group.

Ashtail is focused on finding food, she is unaware another tragedy was about to happen.

Ghost slows to a walk, an evil grin on his scarlet muzzle. He still had it after all... He eventually spots the Willows forging group. And what's this? He spotted Snicker and also, Triscuit. She was that one pup with the crooked leg he almost killed a week ago... Well, no matter... Feeling confident after his kill in the burrow, he stalked into the bushes. Perhaps he could get lucky again. Watching Triscuit wander away from the safety of the group, he awaits for the perfect chance to strike.

Unwittingly, Triscuit places her life in grave danger as she suddenly changes course, now treading with a limp towards the bush Ghost is cleverly concealed in. She's so engrossed in her prey search that she doesn't realize she has strayed from the protection of the adults.

This was too easy! This only made his job easier. Readying himself, Ghost sprang from the bushes once Triscuit was close enough. He wasted no time and pounced on the pup, sinking his blood-red fangs into her back. He shook his head rather violently and roughly slammed Triscuit against the ground several times.

Ashtail's ears twitched as she caught a sound. Looking at the source, her heart felt as if it stopped. Shrieking loudly in horror and also in anger, the battle-scarred female made an outraged dash at Ghost, her eyes almost bloodshot. Her anger and fear had its grasp on her and made her ignore anything else around her. All she cared about was getting Ghost and prayed that Triscuit would somehow be able to survive his heartless assault.

((OOC: Poor Triscuit, she shall be deeply missed, especially by me. Again, gonna hold back on posting until everyone else does.))

Triscuit is completely taken off gaurd and lets out a frightened, shrilled screech as she felt fangs stab into her back. As she made eye contact with her attacker, her blood runs ice cold as she comes to recognize this callous stranger. It's that blood thirsty male Ghost! He had tried to kill her and her brother a week ago. She had all but forgotten about that traumatizing assault but this second attack suddenly brings back that terrible memory. She and her brother were standing helplessly at the burrow entrance as he came barreling towards them with murderous intent. Luckily there were adults around to thwart his mission then. But this time there's no one around to save her. Realizing she's alone, Triscuit panics. She struggles in desperation, trying to dislodge herself from Ghost's death grip but soon goes limp and silent after being slammed into the ground multiple times with brutal force. Could the adults' efforts to rescue her this time be too late?

Hearing his daughter's blood curtling screams sends chills down Tank's spine. He looks up immediately believing she's being attacked and what he sees stops his heart cold. Ghost....he's back!!! And he's brutally attacking his child! Horror struck and enraged, Tank barrels towards Ghost sounding a fierce roar of anger. He hopes they aren't too late but from what he sees his heart sinks fearing the worst for his daughter.

ooc: Awww poor Triscuit Yes, she shall be missed immensely. I'm going to play her in Sun Angels though:3 And yeah I'm gonna hold off too.

Bravo hears as well and leaps into action, quickly learning of what's going on. Enraged by the possibilty that Ghost has killed Triscuit, Bravo darts after Ghost at full speed, with murderous intent.

Ariel yelps and runs to a bush in the opposite direction for protection.

Mozart growls enraged and charges towards Ghost , her teeth bared in rage
