Roleplay- 16th of December

Damien looks around, sensing another presence of another meerkat nearby. He can't seem to recognize the smell, but whoever it is, they are looking for trouble. He sighs, knowing that if this mysterious stranger were to attack, he'd have to defend himself.

Lancaster lifts his face off the dead pup, now gazing down upon the souless little form with a distraught expression. An innocent pup has been denied the chance to thrive in the protective and nurturing midst of its family and will never experience the astonishing and exhilerating adventures the Kalahari has to offer. He's unaware that Ghost has struck down his niece at the foraging party.

Snicker runs at Ghost, full of rage and fear for his sister. He sinks his small teeth into his back leg and begins tugging. and snarling Leave her alone! (Could you also have Ghost attack him? Not enough to kill him instantly, but enough so he dies later on due to his injuries.)

Buckeye, Jackie and Snowflake also join in the charge.

Meg watches in shock.

Ghost drops Triscuit and grabs Snicker next, his fangs digging deep and pulling him off his leg and shook his head violently with the small pup in his jaws. He then takes notice that the adults were charging at him. Dropping Snicker roughly next to his limp sister, the male ran, knowing the mob would rip him to pieces if they caught him. But an evil, twisted grin had formed on his scarlet jaws. It seemed he got away with taking not one life, but possibly two more. Triscuit and Snicker had little chance to survive his assault.

More rage and sorrow filled Ashtail as she witnessed Ghost brutally attack Snicker as well. She let out an outraged roar. You're going to die MONSTER!!! She picked up speed, determined that Ghost would pay with his own life for this injustice.

Triscuit's mangled form lays motionless on the ground. The force of her body slamming into the hard sandy earth was enough to break her neck and crush her rib cage, resulting in her suffocating to death. Her death had been instantaneous. Tragically, she won't be the only one of Tank's children to be brutally slain by the blood thirsty Ghost.

Distraught to see his daughter laying dead on the ground then feeling the rage return to him as he sees Ghost invoke his brutal wrath on his son Snicker next, Tank increases his speed, running faster than he ever has before. He chatters fiercely determined to bring an end to this cold blooded male's life. He'll pay with his life for commiting heartless murders on innocent pups, especially on his children.

Olivia stood shivering in horror at the sight of her sister dead. She inches over and peeped repeatedly to Triscuit, desperate for a response. She was too confused to notice her brother becoming the next victim of Ghost's savage attack.

Triscuit doesn't respond to her sister's desperate peeps, encouraging her to wake up. She's gone. She never got a chance to say her good byes to her family. The last thing she saw and felt was the ground, which she was violently being smashed into.

Olivia whimpers and sniffs, she looks up and sees the adults charging at Ghost, she yelps as she sees her brother in his grip. Her mind didn't register with what her eyes were seeing, first Triscuit, now Snicker? She stumbled back and could only watch helplessly.

Bravo barrels into Ghost, getting close enough to attack and leave a wound on his thigh. After seeing Snicker attacked as well, his motivation has increased 10 fold.

Tank is now a mere few inches from being able to snare Ghost. He extends his neck and snaps at his legs and tail in an attempt to trip the male and slow him down enough for the group to swarm him and kill him.

Ghost hissed as he felt Bravo attack his thigh. The male didn't slow down however. He knew he had to get out of there and fast. He unknowingly crosses the border between the Willows and the Midnights. He looks around as he ran, trying to find a way to loose the outraged mob behind him. Quickly thinking, he manages to kick up sand and dirt into the air with his back legs to distract the Willows. With that done, he makes a mad dash, eventually out of sight. That was a close call.

Ashtail coughed and gags a bit when she ran right into Ghost's dirt and sand cloud. She paws at her eyes, blinded as well. She couldn't locate Ghost any where but tried to do so. She wanted to ensure he was dead for his heartless and cruel deed. But she had no luck finding the heartless rover. He must of gotten away! Such a sly and clever male he was... She also was unaware she and the other Willows were now in Midnight territory.

((OOC: No worries, Ghost shall face justice for his deeds in the future. >:J But I still need him for a plot I have for John and then after that, I'll have him come back but he won't escape and the Willows can finally put an end to his killing. I'd like it if Tank delivers the final blow however, since it feels more right if he does it so he can avenge his children.))

Bravo runs right into the dust cloud and gags as he inhales the the sand. He coughs and closes his eyes. Bravo manages to escape the dust cloud and tries to continue the chase, but stops at the border. He sits and tries to clean his eyes as he wonders if they should follow.

Tank is next to run straight into the midst of the lung and eye burning dust cloud. He erupts into a relentless coughing spell as the dust sears his lungs. As his eyes begin to sting shortly after, he brushes his eyes with his paws in a desperate attempt to rid the dust from them while staggering around erratically. With his eyes and lungs burning, he can't concintrate on continuing the chase. He's unaware that the pursuit has led them to the border of which they share with their deadly vicious neighbors, the Midnights.

Taakah's eyes widened at the sight of ghost murdering a helpless pup. Why did he have to do this!? Taakah screeched with rage, pushed away memories flooding back into his mind. he bolted after the cowardly bully, and snapped at his heels. Suddenly, a dustcloud filled his eyes and lungs. He stopped, hacking and rubbing his orbs with his paws. If he ever, ever caught this murderous coward, he woud make him eat dirt, then rip him apart. he hung his head, trying to push away the memories that had came flooding back like a broken dam.

Buckeye, Jackie and Snowflake charge after Ghost, all filled with rage. Once he's out of sight, Buckeye still leads the charge after him. Unknown to her, she is leading her group into the Midnight's territory. Jackie and Snowflake are also unaware and also follow.

Snicker looks around in a daze. Everything is blurry. He whimpers as pain rushes through his body, trying to recall what happened. He could remember being slammed agaisnt the ground... why? He looks around in confusion until he sees his sister Triscuit lying dead beside him. Everything comes rushing back to him. He tried to save her by attacking Ghost. He was obviously next on his list of victims, but hadn't been finished off. He looks down at Triscuit and sobs, knowing instantly that she's beyond help. He is also beging to feel rage consuming him. He may not be in the condition to do so, but he wanted more than anything to avenge his sister. He peeps a quiet goodbye to her and limps as fast as he after the Willows who could still be seen in the distance. He couldn't still see clearly and he felt awfully dizzy and in pain, but he was too angry to worry about those facts.

For a moment Meg stands there, transfixed. Seeing Triscuit die has been enough to traumatize her, most likely for life. She can see Snicker running after the group. She follows, also rage bent and wanting to help, despite her age and once cheerful and forgiving behaviour.

ooc- You can still play them in the sun Angels...

ic- Bravo looks back and forth, unsure if he shoulkd follow, or stay to comfort whoever else decides to stay, or is forced to.

Ariel is still hiding under the bush, not yet aware that Triscuit is dead and Snicker brutally attacked as well.

ooc- Also I'm pretty certain some adult will have to stay.

Olivia runs as fast as her little legs can carry her, over to Snicker. She nuzzled her brother whimpering in worry.

In his blind stagger, Tank steps on the tail of his dead daughter, Triscuit. The unintentional action startles the blinded male, triggering his eyes to open wide and blurt out a paniced yelp, thinking he may have treaded on Ghost, who could be launching a surprise assault from behind him. saddly it turns out to be his dead daughter he stepped on. Tank lets out a distraught caterwaul as his eyes lay upon her mangled body. He can hardly recognize his daughter. The scene is so gruesome, it makes him sick to his stomach. He lays his body gently on Triscuit's deceased form and begins sobbing histerically, tears streaming down his face like a strong currented river. His daughter didn't deserve such injustice. Why did Ghost commit such a heinous act towards her? She's just an innocent pup! Ghost'll pay with his life for this! Suddenly, Tank catches a glimpse of his son, Snicker, struggling to his feet and when he sees him barreling towards Midnight's territory, appearing to be mortally injured, he lets out a horrified chatter and rushes to catch up to him. From what he can see, his son's injuries appear to be life threatening. His heart sinks, fearing he may be the next to soon succumb to his horrific wounds recieved from that heartless Ghost. Tank is unaware that he's encroaching upon Midnight's territory.


ooc: I'll have him catch up to the group as the battle is ouccuring.

Bravo walks over and sees what has happened. It appears Ghost has finished what his sister tried. He was doubtful the victims of his sister's instinct-driven attack would have lived long anyways. Bravo peeps and apology to Tank before turning around and running to catch up with the others.

Taakah quickly recovored, and once again, rage gave his muscles an extra pulse. He shot away after the group, quickly gaining and passing.

Tank lifts up his head and makes eye contact with Bravo as he heard his apology. He feels is wasn't necissary. It isn't his sister's fault this happened. Ghost just caught them by surprise and there was nothing the adults could've done to save her. He's monitored his daughter's progress on how well she's been able to move around on her crippled leg. He believes she would've been able to escape Ghost's attack if she had seen the deadly assault coming but this time it was the element of surprise that resaulted in Triscuit being killed. He nods, accepting Bravo's apology anyway before following him into hostile territory.

ooc- Can we just say one of the inactive characters is watching over the other pups? Ariel is staying, and Snicker surely isn't going anywhere either.

ic- Bravo follows the group and crosses over into Midnights land.

ooc: Good idea. Yeah we can say someone is watching the pups.

Hmmm....Since AllysonIsBella/LPZ hasn't been on for months and her return appearing to be slim, I'm tempted to adopt her pup character Redwood. I'm changing the name to Kirby, keeping the gender female. I'm thinking of her personality as being distrustful, mostly towards male strangers after her sister and brother were attacked and killed by the marauding Ghost, but I'm brewing up a plot that'll change her perspective on them and make her realize not all roving or nomadic males are bad. Perhaps I'll use Luigi for this plot.

Tank unknowingly crosses into Midnight's territory close behind Bravo, his thoughts fixated on taking down Ghost and ending his pup killing occupation for good.

Ooc: I'm feeling neglected....Grr.

Damien peers around, looking for the stranger who is watching him. Why is he here? He churrs to himself

ooc: If the stranger you're referring to is Ghost, just to let you know he's no longer in Willow's territory. He had killed one of Luna's pups at the burrow, then went on to kill Tank's daughter Triscuit and seriously wound her brother Snicker at the foraging paty, and was then chased into Midnight's territory by the enranged Willows. The Jumaa are also in Midnight's territory, intending to take revenge from the Midnights for killing 3 of their members, 2 being pups. A battle between the Jumaa, Midnights and Willows is about to unfold. Sorry you're feeling neglected. We're not trying to make you feel that way. You joined after we had this plot set and stone so I understand you must have no idea what's happening. All the drama that's occuring right now is all part of the plot explained above is about which we planned a few months ago. If you want Damien to play apart in it some how feel free to do so:) But you'll have to play him in the Midnight's forum if you want him to particepate in the 3 way mob battle.
