Roleplay- 16th of December

Taakah paused, smelling the scent markers, which made his fur bristle. He dashed foreward, pulling ahead to be part of the front. If it was the last thing he did, he would watch ghost be killed.

Ooc: I dont know...Make up a starnger. Idk...

ooc: Hmmm maybe it could be an evicted wild female who's looking for her mob.

Ooc: Yeah and she has a eye on Damien. Fight! jk

ooc: If you want her to lol. She'll be chased off though since the babysitters are still on edge after Ghost just killed one of Luna's pups

Also, don't forget that you have Foxglove to RP in the Midnights. He's at the burrow with his siblings being looked after by a few babysitters. You've been neglecting the poor pupXD Unless, if you don't want to RP him anymore, I'd like to take him back. But if you want to still play him you can:)

In a melancholy state, Lancaster drags himself above ground. He hates himself for allowing Ghost to infiltrate the burrow. How could he have been so irresponsible? Making the choice to shirk off one of the most important responsibilites in meerkat society has cost a defensless, innocent infant their life. He's dreading the inevibility that he has to inform the Willows about this tragic event and just knows they'll be infuriated when he tells them he was slacking off on the job when Ghost just happened to appear. Picking up a strange smell, Lancaster lifts up his head, his nose twitching furiously. Oh no, please, not him again! Lancaster glances around in a panic, convinced Ghost has returned to finish off Luna's litter. He glances over at Damien, who seems to have also detected the scent of a strange meerkat. They both smell him but where is he? Lancaster's heart palpitates rapidly, fearful of Ghost poping out of the vegetation from behind them without warning.

Ooc: I would never neglect a pup!

Damien growls fiercly and sniff the air again

ooc: I knowXP

Lancaster glances around in a panic. He backs up to the burrow entrance, ready to dive in at the moment Ghost reveals himself.

Damien decides to go find somewhere safe, he is in no condition to fight. Lancaster and other adults are guarding the burrow. He'll just be a burden. He runs off, searching for a hiding spot. He hears fighting and looks around.

ooc: The groups aren't fighting in Willows territory though and he's too far away to be able to hear the 3 way battle happening. Also it takes more than one post for a meerkat to reach another mob's territory.

Ooc: Meh! Now you tell me? I dont wanna change my post...............................

ooc: You don't have to change your post. I'm just saying for future notice when you have Damian travel to another mob's territory, put down maybe 4 or 5 posts of him waliking towards a rival's territory then say he crosses over and then you can post him in that mob's thread.

Ooc: I will do next time. for now, it ur post!^^

ooc: Ok.

Lancaster startles when he hears movement in the grass surrounding the burrow. His muscles tense up, suspecting it's Ghost prowling about, waiting for the oppertunity to strike.

Damien is running off.

Lancaster suddenly realizes Damien is absent. He emits a paniced peep, not wanting to be left to defend the pups alone(I think. I forgot who else stayed behind to babysit), especially if he finds himself pitted up against the lethal Ghost again. This scrawny male wouldn't last 3 minutes against that heartless beast! He glances around frantically. Wanting Damien to come back, he gives out contact calls in the hopes he'll return to his aide.

Damien stops and calls out in reply to Lancaster

Lancaster sighs in relief. Good, he's still within the vicinity of the burrow. He barks sharply, demanding Damien to return this instant! He could use his help if a predator or a rival attempts to barge their way into the burrow. They've already lost one pup because of Lancaster's irresponsibility. They can't afford to lose another pup because of 2 babysitter's being irresponsible. He fears his reputation as a babysitter is at stake. He's had a clean record until today. He's determined more than ever to ensure that the rest of the precious bundles tucked away below stay protected from harm but to maintain that tight security, he needs someone he can rely on to help block the burrow entrance and assist in surveying the area for dangers. Apparently, Damien isn't very responsible.

Damien scampers back, and churrs apoligetically to Lancaster, then checks inside the burrow, sees that the pups are safe, then stands beside Lancaster

Lancaster shoots Damien a stern scowl, but after a minute, his expression softens. He isn't one to hold a grudge and accepts Damien's apology by revealing a forgiving smile. He understands he must be bored and is reluctant to sit here all day performing a mostly tidious task, he is too, but they hold the pups' lives in their paws. They MUST remain at their posts, especially now . A stranger is still in vicinity and there's a possibility they could attempt to injure or kill the pups below ground. If they shirk their responsibility, they could place the pups' lives in joepardy and could face serious consequences for their irresponsibility.

Buckeye passes over the border, blissfully unaware of the fact that Meg and Snicker were separated from the group or that Tank had gone after them. She also hadn't noticed Jackie's absence either.

Snowflake follows also unaware and looks around, hoping home would be in sight soon.

Suddenly, Lancaster detects a flash of fur in the thicket of grass. He gives out a bark, letting the mystery animal know it's been spotted and to unveil itself now. When the animal reveals itself, it turns out to be a female meerkat. Her fur is scruffy, dirty and infested with fleas and ticks. Her hip bones are protruding and she's dangerously thin. all the signs that she's an evictee living a hard life alone. Lancaster feels sympathy for her but with pups to protect, this stranger can't be here. There's no way of knowing what this desperate stranger is capable of. He can see she's desperate. She could attempt to kill the pups for food. Not wanting to take any chances, like waiting to see what this stranger does, he war dances towards her, intending to eject her from burrow grounds but if she shows defiance, he won't hesitate to get vicious. You're trespassing! Get out now!

The female complies and flees, not wanting to get into a physical scrap. Whilst foraging intently, she accidentally stumbled upon the Willow's babysitting burrow grounds. She means no harm and is more than happy to leave them in peace. Soon she vanishes into the vegetation, returning to the uncharted territory from where she hailed.

Ariel had stayed behind with another adult at where the group was foraging just prior to Ghost's attack. She's unaware that there was a battle, and is skittishly looking around.

ooc: I'm seriously tempted to play Redwood. The poor pup has been neglected since birth. Since LPZ Most likely won't come back, I wanna change her name if I do decide to take her over. I'd also like it if Tank has some surviving pups. the remainder of his litter I assume is dispersed since they've been inactively played.

ooc- Go ahead. None of LPZ's property means anything here anymore. All her characters that aren't adopted out can be marked as dispersed for good right?

ooc: I'm gonna adopt her. Need to think of a different name... Yeah the rest of her characters can be marked as last seen.
