Roleplay- 16th of December

((OOC: I've been tempted to adopt Redwood, but you go ahead YoshKat. x3 If I remember correctly... Redwood/Whatever the new name is and Olivia are Tank's remaining pups, right? At least he has two daughters. ))

ooc: Ok:3 Yes she and Olivia are 2 of Tank's remaining pups. There's also Carmella whom is played by Pancake. But since she's been inactive, we can say Carmella is dispersed for now. When Pancake returns, she'll most likely want to continue playing her but she may need a reminded since she plays alot of characters.

((OOC: Ah, right. Nearly forgot about her. Yeah, Pancake is gonna need a list of updates with this rate. xD))

ooc: I miss having her on here. She's a great role player and alot of the groups depend on her since she plays a good amount of the dominants. She's also very creative which helps with the role play. Hopefully she'll be returning soon. But yes she'll be getting an update that will be many paragraphs long.

ooc: Ok:) She said on Linklu (another meerkat role play site) that she temporarily lost the motivation to role play but I believe she'll return, too, eventually:D She even said she can't quit role playing, it's too difficultXD

As Buckeye gets further into Willows territory, she realises several members of the group were absent. Tank, Jackie, Bravo and Ashtail (sorry if I got the list wrong.) She was unsure as to why they weren't there. Had they been ambushed by the Midnights? Were they staying back for someone who was wounded? She peeps once again and begins walking back into the Midnights.

Snowflake noticing Jackie absent from the members eagerly follows Buckeye, determined to find his friend.

At the burrow, Lancaster is on edge after the appearance of a stranger on burrow grounds. He surveys the area vigilanty, keeping watch for the desperate female. Even though he succeeded in chasing her off, there's still a chance she could return and attempt to harm the pups. A pup has already been killed by the cold blooded Ghost, the babysitters can't afford to lose any more of the Willow's valuable infants under their care. Little does Lancaster know, the Willows war party won't be the only ones to be informed of tragic news. He has no idea that Ghost had killed his niece and fatally wounded his nephew.

Ariel sees as it gets dark and looks around. Where are the others?

ooc: I've decided on a name to replace Redwood. Redwood will now be known as Saja (means calm and quiet in Arabic):3

Saja, who had stayed behind with Ariel, scouts the area casually. Despite the unnerving situation facing the youngsters, she remains calm and positive, believing the Willows will be returning from their Ghost eliminating mission soon. Little does she know, they had an impromtu scuffle with the Midnights and Jumaa, and are mourning the loss of her brother Snicker, whom succumbed to his injuries recieved from the merciless Ghost. In the mean time, Saja comforts the worried Ariel with some grooming, assuring her the Willows will be back any minute now, at least hopefully before the sun disappears behind the mountains.

Ariel looks around. The single adult that stayed is still with them, but it's getting dark and cool. Night will soon be upon them, and so will the predacious lords of the night.

Molly was walking, looking around. Where was she now? She must of taken a wrong turn... One minute she was with her mob, and now she was suddenly lost. Sighing, she looked around some more. Her eyes spotted some figures, small ones... Were those pups?! Instantly, she went over to look. She saw Ariel and Saja. Awwww.... She just loved pups! Deciding to approach, she got low and then laid down on her stomach, trying to show the two pups she wasn't a threat.

Saja spots Molly approaching in a non threatening fashion but doesn't get startled. She becomes curious. Bobing her head in curiosity, she inches towards the teenager, sniffing. She doesn't recognize her scent. She must be from another group, but where is her family? Could she have strayed from them? She's curious to find out.

Molly smiled as Saja approached. She then rolls onto her back, looking rather silly. While she knew pups should know better than to approach a stranger like herself, she knew she would never do anything to harm a pup. They were too cute to harm.

Saja giggles in amusement at Molly's comical antics. She's learned strangers could be dangerous, as deminstrated earlier today when roving male Ghost killed her sister Triscuit, but this stranger seems fine to her and has quickly earned her trust. She's a teenager. What threat could she pose? Despite today's tragety involving an encounter with a stranger, it hasn't detered Saja from approaching meerkats she doesn't know. She looks back at Ariel, wondering if she's willing to approach Molly or not.

Ariel is more reluctant. From her own experience and what the adults have told her tranger means danger, so she shyly stays away.

Molly frowned a bit whe Ariel didn't approach. But its okay, she was playing it smart. Its okay, she'll learn this silly meerkat wasn't a bad one! She looks at Saja, who was upside down in her view. She giggled.

Saja frowns, a little disappointed, but she understands Ariel is playing it safe. Even though Molly seems friendly and trustworthy, there's that chance she could decieve them. They don't know what she's capable of but Saja doesn't care. She's convinced Molly is safe to be around. Returning eye contact to Molly, she smiles, eager to become friends with her.

Buckeye crosses over the Willows border. She knew they wouldn't be going anywhere too soon. At least, not until Tank could find Triscuit's body.

Snowflake and Jackie look around. They felt safer here, but still had an eerie feel. After having seen Snicker's lifeless body, they had both fallen silent and into a saddened state.

Meg had also hardly spoken since Snicker had died. Being at his side the whole time, she felt an awful sense of guilt running through her bloodstream. Things would be different now... She knew that for sure.

Tank enters Willow territory with the rest of the group, immediately scouting the area for his daughter's body. He remembers it wasn't too far from the border where she was killed. Perhaps a 100 yards. He walks briskly while looking ahead. Hopefully her body is still where it is and hasn't been devoured by scavengers.

Ashtail crosses the border, silently. The deaths of Snicker and Triscuit would forever change many of the mob members for sure. She also gets to work looking for Triscuit's body, unaware a stranger was with the other pups, but luckily it was a friendly stranger.

Ariel looks at Triscuit's body which is still laying limp in the sand and then at the stranger again, the body serving as a reminder of what mysterious strangers can do to a pup like her.

Molly notices Triscuit's mangled body and she was on her paws in seconds. W... what had happened to this pup?! She looked as if a predator or something had attacked her, given how her injuries looked. She whined. The poor thing...
