Roleplay- 16th of December

Ajia started to whimper, she feared terribly for Ninja. All of this death and potential death all around was starting to overwhelm her. She ran over to Aliya and snuggled close in need of comfort. She couldn't imagine what Tyson must feel like, and as she nuzzled close to her mother, she was hoping she wouldn't have to.

Conker feels terrible for Tyson. He can't imagine what it'd be like if his father was near death. Like Tyson, he certaintly would be crushed and overwhelmed with despair. His heart goes out to the little pup, praying that his father stays strong and pulls through this injust suffering.

Hearing Tyson's anguished screech, Mischka's heart shatters at the sight of Ninja's offspring witnessing his father's mangled body. He frowns, feeling sympathy for Tyson. Though Ninja's willpower is strong, it doesn't 100% garauntee he'll survive. It'll be up to fate whether he'll live or succumb to his grisly injuries. The only thing the Jumaa can do is keep Ninja's wounds clean and replenish him through out his recovery process. It'll be an agonizing wait to see if Ninja improves or deteriorates over the next several days.

As Ninji finds her parents' chamber, she's horrified to see her father laying on the floor, seeming to be near death. She rushes in, shrieking in anguish.

Ninja doesn't know that he's attracted a horrified crowd. He's in a deep unconcious state.

Linda notices somethinf is wrong with Ninja now and turns her attention back to him. She nuzzles him softly, and then harder. She doubts he could sleep though all of this excitement. Something must be very wrong. She whimpers and tries to wake him up. He seems to be breathing, for now.

Ninja grunts in discomfort as the rough nudging from his mate triggers burning pain from his wounds to travel through his whole body. Gradually, he opens his eyes, blinking them constantly to adjust his vision to being clear. He's surprised to see almost the whole mob gathered around him, including his worried sick family, all displaying fear and worry in their eyes. He manages to flash a weak smile, insisting everyone he'll be fine. He promises the concerned mob this courageous male won't be spiritually leaving this mob any time soon. He's going to fight and win against this life threatening ordeal, especially for the ones he loves the most, his mate Linda and their beautiful children. Depite his critically wounded status, he's in high spirits.

Ninji's eyes gleam with joy when her father awakens. She bounds over to him, pressing into his soft, furry stomach and exchanges affectionate nuzzles with her father. For now, it seems he's hanging in there. She hopes he can hold on to that strength so he can be there to mentor her and her siblings when they begin learning the skills to survive in the harsh Kalahari. Her heart would shatter to pieces and she wouldn't have the will to continue on if she loses her beloved father so early in her short life. She can't imagine how devastating it would be to her mother if he slips away from them. She's witnessed their strong bond, so imagines her mother would be much more broken if Ninja dies.

Mischka smiles with adoration as he watches the heartwarming intimate moment between Ninja and his daughter. His love and dedication to his family is so strong. He can see nothing is capable of breaking that bond, not even death will succeed in taking him away from them!

Conker lights up with relief and joy when he sees Ninja coming to. Thank the heavens he's still alive! It's far too soon to celebrate though. Ninja's recovery is still balancing unevenly in the hands of Fate. It's uncertain what lies ahead for this trooper of a meerkat.

Tyson looks worriedly at his father. He's still young, but old enough to know there's still the chance he will die.

Duke has entered the chamber too, and looks at Ninja with worry. Ninja is a valued member, and one of the best males in the mob he's had the honor of letting in. He knows Ninja's unbreakable, almost spiritual bond he shares with Linda. He fears that Ninja's death may cause another.

Linda smiles as Ninja reawakens, but becomes sad again knowing there's still a long road to recovery for him. He seems as close to death as she was with her neck injury recieved some weeks before meeting Ninja. That worries her dearly, and burys her face into his fur, sobbing.

Ninja assures his mate, with comfort grooming, that he'll pull through this even though he isn't so sure himself. He's unaware Linda has experienced being close to death, but was put into that status by the merciless Midnights, the cold hearted mob responsible for murdering 2 of their pups.

Ninji glances at her mother, almost immediately feeding off her sorrow. Despite being young, she knows that there's a possibility her father could die.

Linda peeps urgently to Ninja, asking who exactly did this to him. The merciless Midnight responsible will face justice! She's unaware however that the culprit is far from an alienized stranger in a mob of bloodshed.

Aliya nuzzles Ajia and holds her close. Everything would be fine... at least, she hoped. She hears the commotion where Ninja is below ground and goes to see what's going on. Seeing that he appears to be in a stable condition she returns to Ajia's side, making sure she's okay.

Emzio looks around, her head in the clouds and deep in thought.

Suri also goes to check on Ninja, noticing everyone going over. Seeing that he's conscious, she sighs of relief, but unlike Aliya, stays nearby.

John looks over toward the burrow, knowing everyone was worried sick about Ninja. John himself one among them, worried sick about Ninja. He didn't want his interference to go in vain. But he had no control of Ninja's fate. He'd have to be patient and wait. He feels strongly that Ninja won't allow death to take him away, he'll pull through. The road would be a bumpy one, but with his loyal family and mob by his side, Ninja is sure to pull through and recover.

Petal whines as she watches Ninja. She couldn't bare the thought of witnessing his death. It'd not only effect Linda and their children, but the rest of the mob would mourn for him forever. He has to pull through! Petal titled her head as Linda asks Ninja about who did this to him. Yes... she too would like to know. While not a violent type, she'd rather know she could be sure to lay down her life to defend Ninja if the culprit somehow comes to finish the job.

Ajia looked up at her mother's face, she peeped softly, will Ninja be okay?

Romeo ran over to a nearby bush and started to dig under it. Grabbing a gecko in his jaws, he ran back over and dropped it infront of Ninja an nudged it toward him. In this state, it would be a good idea for Ninja to get as much nutrition as he could.

Ninja's heart rate climbs rapidly, knowing Linda is going to shatter when she learns the culprit responsible for critically injuring him is in fact her own brother. Biting his lower lip in nervousness, Ninja shakes his head side to side slowly. No, it wasn't a Midnight who maimed him. The perpatrator was of Willow origin, it was.... Bravo, her overprotective brother (Dun dun dun!). Ninja's muscles tighten, bracing himself for Linda's horrified reaction.

Conker gasps in shock hearing one meerkat was responsible for putting Ninja in his near death status. He's even more shocked to discover this Bravo is Linda's brother. So the attempted murderer was Linda's brother? Why did he do this to Ninja? He didn't do anything to deserve this cruel, unjust suffering! This meerkat must've been one nasty brute, either that or Ninja did something to really tick this Bravo guy off, that being by impregnating his sister, Linda, which resulted in her getting evicted from the Willows, convincing her previous mob, including Bravo, to think she's dead. Conker doesn't know or would understand this though. He just assumes Bravo was out to slice, slash and shred someone in cold blood, whom unfortunately happened to be Ninja.

Mischka grits his teeth and growls in anger hearing Bravo was the one responsible for nearly killing his friend. He's enraged but finding out that Bravo is Linda's brother replaces his anger with shock. He glances at Linda, feeling sorry yet angry for her. He has the urge to go over to the Willows and rip her brother up himself but this is between her and her family. What will Linda do about her brother? Will she hate him for gravely injuring her mate? Or will she be too horrified to even think about seeking revenge? Will she eventually forgive her blood relative for this? If Ninja dies, will Linda refuse to associate with her brother again? All these uncertain questions run through Mischka's head.

Ninji's mouth drops open in shock learning it was her uncle who put Ninja on the verge of death...Wait, she has an uncle residing in a mob called the Willows? Ninji gazes up at her mother, eyes glazed over with confusion and horror. Why? Why did her uncle do this to her father? She wouldn't understand the reason. Another thing she wants to know is when will she ever get to meet her uncle Bravo? Depending on how her mother reacts to him doing this to Ninja, Ninji may never get a chance to meet him. Bravo resides in a rival mob and could pose a threat to her, especially if he ever finds out she's the offspring of his much hated rival, Ninja.

Linda nearly faints with shock when she hears her brother is responsible. Why him? This is a betrayal of epic proportions. She'll disown him as her brother if Ninja dies from his injuries. She cries out in angry, despair, and horror almost as if Bravo has torn her heart to shreds. Her mate is almost dead because of his misinterpretations. He's doing her great harm when he thinks he's helping her and avenging her. If she could and there was nothing to lose, she'll go and rip him to shreds right now! If he has to go to these lengths to keep her from her soulmate, Bravo might as well be a Midnight! Her anger dissovles into despair again as she sobbs, apologizing to Ninja as if it's her fault for what her brother did to him. She buries her face into Ninja's fur again and trembles, with many bad emotions and feeling eating at her mind.

Tyson doesn't understand what his father says or his mother's reaction. Who's Bravo? He runs out of the chamber when he sees his mother cry out. He's never seen her this way before, and he's scared.

Duke sighs when he learns the truth and exits as well, almost on the verge of an outburst of emotion himself seeing the ill-fated couple that way.

Brian growls as he hears this. Being a brother himself, he could never picture himself harming Duke's mate. This couldn't just have been for Linda. As far as he saw it, what Bravo did was just cold-hearted and cruel.

Ajia shrunk back in fear as she heard Linda cry out. She just wished this all could end, and everything could go back to the calm and peaceful way things were before. She wished Ninja and her cousin weren't injured to the point of near death, that her aunt hadn't killed her other aunt's pup and been evicted, that cousin, Little Boy, and Linda's other two pups were still alive and well. A tear slipped from her eye as she remembered each of their faces, smiling and happy. Most of them would never be seen like that again.

Ninja's muscles tense up, rendering him temporarily petrified, as his mate lets out an anguished shrill. He expected her reaction would be to that effect. Seeing her burry her face in his fur, he musters the strength to groom her comfortingly. He's shocked Linda feels it's her fault Bravo nearly killed him. How could she think a horrible thing like that? It isn't her fault at all this happened. Nobody expected the Willows would appear on the scene of their revenge mission. Linda nor Ninja suspected Bravo was on a mission to take revenge from him. He knows Bravo attacked him because he impregnated her, so he feels he braught this onto himself. But he doesn't regret at all their liason resulted in a litter of pups. He loves them dearly and would give his life for them. He nuzzles Linda affectionately, assuring her everything will be alright. Like the rest of the Jumaa, he desperately wishes everything would return to being tranquil and rosy for this easygoing mob. So much terrible events have been plaguing them. They don't deserve all this hideous injustice.

Ninji trembles as she heard her mother's eardrum shattering cry. It was so loud and spine chilling it freaked out the poor little pup, causing her to make a mad dash for the chamber exit. As she exits, shaking, she finds her frightened brother and cuddles with him, also terrified by their mother's dramatic outburst of mixed intense emotions.

Mischka's muscles tense up simultaneously with his cringe as he heard Linda's intense emotional outburst. He doesn't blame her for freaking out in such a dramatic matter. He would've done the same if his brother badly injured his love interest, Carnation, whatever the reason it'd be. His thoughts suddenly turning to her, he sighs passionately. Watching heartwarming moments between Linda and Ninja has him missing his beloved lady.

Conker bites his lower lip, trying to stifle his tears. Linda's agonizing screech had braught him on the verge of crying. He doesn't understand why Linda's brother Bravo would want to inflict this much suffering on his sister's innocent mate. His mucles become tense with anger. This Bravo will pay with his life if Ninja dies!

Linda quiets down, but continues sobbing and burying her face into Ninja's fur. Bravo has always been protective of his family members, and had a habit of trying to guide his younger siblings even if they didn't want help, but she never expected him to try to kill her lover over his own ideas of revenge.

Also should we adopt out the two inactive pups in Linda's litter again?

Petal's eyes widen as Ninja explained it was Linda's brother Bravo who had caused such great pain to Ninja and the one reasponcible for his condition. Having an older brother, she understood Linda's pain. If she was in Linda's paws right now, she'd be upset too. Upon hearing Linda's horrible cry of anguish, she began to sob and tears began to escape. Linda sounded so helpless... Knowing it was a blood relative of hers that caused Ninja to be this way. She also backs out of the chamber, sniffling and attempting to control her emotions.

((OOC: Since Stormy may be coming back soon enough, I think she'll keep Dellie. Phoebe is the one who possibly needs to be played temporarily for SpiritRider. If no one offers, I can take over Phoebe since Stormy will have control over Kamaria and her other characters in the next Rp day possibly.))

Ninja's tension wanes as he senses Linda calming down. He keeps up his comfort grooming seeing that's helping to ease his mate's stress, which is also helping to soothe his own frayed nerves as well. He has no idea what Bravo is like outside his hostility but imagines he must be good-hearted and protective towards the ones he cares about. What ever he's like, the only part of Bravo Ninja got to experience was his dark side and he hopes to never endure his warpath ever again.

((OOC: Ah, yes. She possibly could give it a try. She's been telling me she's having a hard time thinking of a character herself. Perhaps temporarily controlling someone else's character will help her get started. I'll call her tomorrow and talk to her about it.))

Linda continues sobbing, but is slowly starting to calm down with Ninja's tending grooming, and turns to just sniffing, or the meerkat equivalent, and she starts to groom him back.

Ninja relaxes completely as Linda grooms him. He continues tender grooming her. They both need some much needed comfort in the most darkest time of their lives.

Linda grooms Ninja more, trying to forget about her treacherous brother. She won't let Ninja die. She's deticated herself to him in their lives together. She's broken meerkat law for him. She's beared his pups. She's given up almost all of her former life for the one she has with Ninja. She sees them as one, and his death would cause her own.

A sudden dizzy spell stuns Ninja, halting his comfort grooming. He maintains hold of his strength while proceeding to tenderly groom his beloved mate. He's adamant to pull through for Linda and his children. He went through so much to be with them and refuses to die so soon after settling down with his mate and starting a family with her in her current mob. He knows it'd shatter her heart and will to live if he gives up on her. This drives him more than ever to survive. He vows he'll fight for his life and will be there in the future to provide protection and love to his family.

Linda starts to become reassured that Ninja will live. His injuries are as bad as the neck injury she had months ago, and she pulled through without anyone to truely live for. Ninja has five to live for.
