Roleplay- 16th of December

(Hey guys, my Aunt called me and told me you guys needed a pup played here? I love pups, they're cute. Her name is Phoebe if I remember correctly? Could I get a quick explaination about her if possible?)

ooc- Sure. She's a 2 week old pup in a litter of four, but it used to be six until two pups were killed when they were still fairly newborn. I play the mother Linda, and Yoshkatgirl plays the father Ninja, who is currently severly injured and causing a lot of focus on him. The pups are still confined to the burrow, and the pup hasn't really been played at all so feel free to shape her personality how you like it.

(Sounds good to me. My Aunt explained to me how meerkats work, especially the pups, so, I think I can manage this. I'll give her a try.)

Phoebe was exploring around the burrows, unaware of her father in critical shape. As she looked around, she began to grow bored. Hearing her stomach growl, she then knew she was hungry. She went off, finding her way around and began to look for her parents. She was about to come across a horrible scene involving her father...

((OOC: I know you can do this Kid, I got confidence in ya. And don't worry, we'll help you out if you need it. Just keep trying and you'll get good sooner or later. I'm glad another pup of Ninja and Linda will get played around with. Hopefully if Stormy gets around to it, Dellie can get involved too. x3))

Ninja stops grooming Linda. He's feeling very exhausted and should return to resting. He lays his head on the chamber floor, getting comfortable for the night. He makes sure to position himself in a way that won't cause irritation to his wounds.

ooc: You'll get the hang of it. It's easy once you roleplay more and more. We'd be glad to help you when ever you have questions or concerns about anything:)

Linda continues to groom him soothingly. She'll be making sure he stays in a stable condition for the next few days.

*Velmarie smiled, showing she was ok now. Tradgedies did make everyone stronger, and even more close-knit. She gave John a comforting nuzzle, feeling sympathy about him not seeing his birth mob in awhile. And yes, they did need to help the others.*
Velmarie: "What can we do to help Ninja and the others?"

Ninja's burning pain wanes thanks to his compassionate mate's soothing grooming. He churrs in satisfaction simutaneously with closing his eyes. For now, he can rest in peace.

All we can do is try our best to help Ninja. Check on his injuries, get rid of any dirt in them, and bring him food. He won't be able to forge for a while. John stood up. But for now... its close to getting dark. Starting tomorrow... Everyone will work together to ensure Ninja survives.

*Velmarie nodded, shivering involuntarily. It was getting dark, and colder. She looked up at the setting sun in the sky and how beautiful it looked. She yawned, stretched, and got up to follow John into the burrow, if that's where he was going.*

John walks into the burrow. The fighting he took part of was slowly catching up to him and he was tired. As he passed by Linda and Ninja's chamber, he looks over at the injured male. He looked like he was doing okay so far. I know you can do this Ninja... Be strong. Weather Ninja heard or not, John moved on, going into his chamber and slowly got himself comfortable. He'd be sleeping early today.

Root was still sleeping, out like a light.

Petal had returned to her brother's side and was laying down, attempting to calm herself. Things looked bleak. But she knew she had to have faith in Ninja. He'll pull through.

Phoebe finally finds her parent's chamber. What she sees makes her freeze. W... what had happened to her father?! She had never seen such a horrible sight. Crying, she ran in and began to rub her head against the side of Ninja's. She thought he was dead, and failed to notice that he was still breathing.

Linda tries to calm her daughter, reassuring her that Ninja will be alright.

*Velmarie went into the burrow, but noticed Phoebe crying. She went up to her, nuzzling her.*
Velmarie: "Don't worry little one, your father is alive. We will help him get better."

Mischka's tension disappears as things settle down. He watches Ninja make himself comfortable, feeling more positive about Ninja's future after witnessing the heartwarming moment between him and his mate. Their bond is remarkably strong. It's because of that why Ninja's willpower to survive is so powerful. Who knows what his aspects of survival would be like without her. He believes either way, Ninja has the strength to pull through. Seeing Phoebe come rushing into the chamber sobbing makes Mischka's heart ache. His heart goes out to Ninja and Linda's kids.

Conker is caught off gaurd by Phoebe charging into the chamber, bursting into tears. At first he's startled by her dramatic entrance, but soon feels sympathy for her. Ninja's children are distraught to see him in critical condition. Ninja just HAS to stay strong, for his mate and his children.

Ninja opens his eyes as he felt someone rubbing against him. He sees it's his daughter Phoebe and comforts her with an affectionate nuzzle, assuring her he'll be fine. He's going to pull through this, he promises.

In another chamber, Saffron is in a deep sleep, oblivious to the drama she missed and what drama is occuring now.

John could hear Phoebe's sobbing and feels horrible. Ninja and Linda's pups must of felt horrible for seeing their father in such a horrible condition. Like Mischka, his heart goes out for the four pups. But he isn't too worried. He knows Ninja's will to live will be strong enough to have him survive his ordeal and soon enough, he'll be good as new.

Root continued to sleep, unaware of the drama of Linda and Ninja's pups learning of their father's condition.

Petal whined as she listened to poor Phoebe weep. Her heart ached for the poor pup, along with her siblings. This was their first time seeing such a horrible sight. Hopefully, it wouldn't leave them too horribly traumatized. But the sooner they learn of this, the more likely they wouldn't freak out as much. She just felt rotten it had to be their father who they would see in this horrible condition for the first time.

Phoebe sniffs as she felt someone nuzzling her. She looks up at Velmarie, listening to her as she explained Ninja was alive, which relieved her. And she promised they would make him better. When her own father nuzzled her, she nuzzled him back, being careful as not to cause pain for him. Listening to him also promise he will pull through instantly makes her tears stop flowing. Licking Ninja on the cheek affectioningly, she hopes he'll make it. She lets him rest and goes over to her mother Linda, leaning against her sorrowfully. While she wasn't crying anymore, she still was very worried. And seeing Ninja in such a condition made her heart feel as if it was being torn apart.

Kumi heard the crying and exited her chamber where she'd been caring for her pups to find out what was going on. She gasped as she saw Ninja, what happened?!

Romeo hissed coldly, Bravo, the Willows male.

Kumi was confused. Weren't they fighting the Midnights?

John stood up, coming over as he saw Kumi questioning what had happened. Hearing the name Bravo, he remembers that was the male who was brutally attacking Ninja and caused him to be how he is. Allow me to explain, Kumi... He came a stop nearby. We were fighting the Midnights originally... But I believe a secondary mob joined in. The Willows was it? Yes... Anyhow... I saw Bravo, who I assume is the male you speak of Romeo, attacking Ninja savagely and showed no mercy. So, I managed to come in and interfere, fighting Bravo off to let Ninja get away... He told me something that puzzles me... He said... Ninja ruined his sister's life and that he was getting revenge. He had no idea Bravo was talking about Linda, and let alone, had no idea the two were related.

It took a moment for Kumi to process John's explanation, she muttered sullenly, it's amazing what things your own siblings would do to take the ones you love out of your life. Speaking of which, where's Kamaria?

John blinked, obviously confused. What did Kumi mean? Suddenly... the reality smacked him like a tidal wave. Did Bravo mean Linda?! And that meant... He was her brother?! But... but how did Ninja ruin her life?! As far as he knew, Linda was anything but miserable. She was happy with Ninja. He never seen the two apart. He sadly did not know the true backstory of Linda and Ninja's relationship. When Kumi asked about Kamaria, John looked sorrowful. Aliya... Aliya had her leave... For all I know, she could be looking for shelter for the night... I do not know if she will come back or not. I... I just hope she survives somehow. Along with her unborn pups.

Conker glances at Kumi as he heard her paniced question. After listening to the the discussion between John and Kumi, he angrily digs his claws into the chamber floor, enraged at this Bravo for putting Ninja on what seems like his death bed. He's seething when he sees how much pain Bravo had inflicted on his family. They don't deserve this, especially his kids. It was bad enough finding out Bravo is Linda's brother, now watching the anguish he inflicted on his nieces and nephews is even more difficult to bare.

Mischka stifles his tears as he watched the emotional moment between Pheobe and her father Ninja. He feels extreme sympathy for Ninja's kids having to see him like this. Witnessing their father near death will most likely result in them being traumatize to some extent. Like Petal, he feels it's good they do experience this now, as it'll build their understanding of how dangerous their neighbors can be as well as prepare them for times like this in the future.

Ninja exchanges affectionate nuzzles with his daughter. Her cries of anguish fuel him even more to survive. He can't let down his kids. He needs to be strong for them so he can stand a better chance of pulling through this ordeal. After Phoebe leaves his side, Ninja lays his head back down on the floor, now feeling reluctant to go to sleep after seeing how fearful his kids are of him losing his life. What if he never wakes up? No, he can't think so pessimistic. He needs to remain positive and strong for his family. He'll make it through the night.

Phoebe listened as the adults conversed. Who was this Bravo? Whoever he was... He was the one responible for her father's condition. She doesn't understand he was her Uncle, but she instantly felt boiling anger. How dare he do this to her loving father!
