Roleplay- 16th of December

Linda listens to John's explaination and learns Kamaria has been evicted. She's too distraught with worry for her own little family to care though, and focuses on Ninja. It breaks her heart to see their pups going through this, almost as much as it felt part of her soul was ripped to shreds when the Midnights killed two of the six pups she had worked hard to give birth to in a safe place like here. She churrs in a motherly way and cradles her young pups, trying to calm them.

Duke has reentered the chamber and is starting to worry about his own mate seeing all the drama. She's pregnant, and he can only hope Aliya and their unborn litter hasn't been seriously harmed in the battle.

Ninja is surprised to learn of Kamaria's eviction. He knows she's pregnant, so is Aliya. But it seems so unlike the usually merciful leader to eject females from the group. Kamaria must've done something terrible to deserve the harsh punishment. Focused on safely getting into the burrow at the time, Ninja had failed to take notice of there being a third small grave lined up with his and Linda's 2 deceased pups' graves, evidance that Kamaria had commited infanticide. Ninja sighs worriedly. Where ever Kamaria is, he hopes she and her unborn litter are safe.

Having acquired a bite to the stomach by Teetsie during the fight, unknown to Aliya, the lives of her unborn litter are hanging in the balance. It is unknown as to whether they will survive or not. Aliya stands by Duke loyally, feeling safer by his side. (I might have most of the litter stillborn, but have one or two pups survive).

Suri looks around, warily.

Emzio looks around, glumly.

Kumi narrowed her eyes and snorted at John's last statement, well that makes one of us. She turned and stalked off back into her chamber, furious that an eviction was all Kamaria got for murder. Bravo nearly killed Ninja and now everyone wants to rip him apart. Kamaria killed her innocent pup and nearly killed another, and she was actually gaining sympathy. A horrible injustice in Kumi's eyes.

Romeo watched Kumi leave. He understood how frustrated Kumi must be, but there was nothing more they could do. Kamaria was different, she was family Aliya and a key member in the forming of the mob. Then again, Bravo was Linda's brother, and what was the major differance in their actions?

Brian growled, he didn't care. He just hoped to never see either of their faces again.

John watched as Kumi left. He understood how she felt. But maybe over time, she'll learn to forgive her sister for her crime. He was never one to wish death upon anyone, unless they did something he saw as unforgivable. What Kamaria did, while it did count as such as thing, she didn't do it because she wanted to. It was all pure instinct. Not her choice at all. However... What Bravo did was not by instinct. He intended to kill. John just felt relieved he interfered when he did. Ninja possibly wouldn't of been here if he hadn't. He looked at the brave male and sighed softly.

Kinkajou glances at Ninja with narrowed eyes before growling and going off into her chamber next to Kumi's she looks at Kumi, before picking up Midnight and carrying her into the main chamber while Sunbeam and Mistymae follow, Mistymae looks at Ninja and goes towards him but Kinkajou steps in her way and growls before leading her family to the back of the chamber, she sits next to Mischka and lets her pups suckle contently, she cringes as Mistymae licks a wound on her stomach and she flinches, but does nothing, she looks at Mischka eventful day for you? she smiled slightly but it quickly faded, her eye was bleeding and her face was bloodied, she didnt care, her stomach and leg were terribly mangled and she growled.

Mischka exhales a sad sigh as he watched Kumi stalk angrily out of the chamber. He understands how angry she feels about her sister getting away with just a simple eviction for commiting a heinous deed on her own nice/nephew, but she didn't intend to kill out of pure heartlessness, she was going by complete maternal instinct. He believes Kamaria tried her hardest to fight off the urge to kill Kumi's litter, but her instincts were just too overwhelming, resulting in her killing one pup and critically injuring another. At least she stopped herself from killing the whole litter, so she must've felt some amount of remorse for what she did. With Mischka's thoughts on Linda and Kumi sharing the experience of having a sibling betray them in different situations, he grits his teeth in anger, knowing Bravo's intent to kill was all out of heartlessness. He remembers the male being particularily ticked off about Ninja impregnating his sister, which led to her eviction and assumed death, convincing the enraged male to believe it's Ninja fault his sister met such a tragic fate. Imagine how Bravo would react if he found out his rampage was all for nothing? Mischka imagines if Bravo ever sees his sister and Ninja together, he'd be totally astonished, and perhaps filled with guilt.

Conker watches Kumi stalk off with a sympathetic frown. He's too young to understand the complicated conflicts females face when their instincts kick in. He just knows his aunt Kamaria killed one of his cousins. He doesn't feel hatred towards her nor wishes any harm to befall her. He just wishes all of this would end and turn out to be just a horrible nightmare.

Ninja is now half-concious. He could hear an angry tone coming from Kumi but isn't able to make out the words. As she stalked out of the chamber, he jolts, startled by her disgruntled growls and lifts up his head, glancing around groggily wondering what he just missed.

Mischka is snapped out of his thoughts by a soft voice. He soon recognizes it to belong to Kinjakou, who's sitting next to him. huh what? he makes eye contact with her, confused as to what she said. He had been so deep in thought, he failed to hear her question. Seeing how torn up her face is, he inhales sharply, imagining those cuts and lacerations must sting like fire. He offers some grooming to soothe her discomfort.

Kinkajou smiles and paws at him playfully, Im fine dont worry she nuzzles his neck, slightly coating him in blood, she growls Sorry she quickly cleans it off and leans back on her haunches, she snuggles closer to Mishcka and rests against his side.

Mistymae gasps as she was pulled back, she sat down.

Midnight fell asleep

Sunbeam growled confused

No need to worry Ninja. Kumi is still outraged about Kamaria and her crime. I just hope Kumi will eventually forgive her sister though... I know Kamaria regretted her choice in the end. Hopefully... some day, we'll see her again. Unharmed and hopefully, learned her lesson... John looked at Ninja as he spoke. Rest up friend, you have a lot to live for. We'll do everything in our power to help you, Ninja. His thoughts then went to Bravo. If what everyone said was true... Bravo was utterly unaware that Linda was alive and well, successfully had her litter, and was with the male she loved. Maybe one day... He'll learn this, and regret his assault on Ninja.

Phoebe relaxed as Linda gently cradled her and her siblings. She closed her eyes and began to take it easy, not hearing any of the conversing going on with the adults.

ooc- Tosca's still playing those "nonexistent" pups?

ic- Linda stays next to her mate. She yawns despite the excitement, the dany's events taking it's toll on her.

Duke is also unaware that their raid may have caused some of their unborn pups their lives.

Hearing her mother yawn made Phoebe also yawn. Learning of her father's condition was a big emotional drain. Snuggling against her loving mother, Phoebe closed her eyes and soon found herself in the world of dreams.

Mischka feels a sense of relief, glad to learn none of Kinkajou's injuries were life threatening, at least for now. They'll need to be cleaned regularly to make sure infection doesn't manifest. He exchanges a playful swat with the high spirited female, not seeming to mind as her blood smeared on his fur. He smiles with gratitude as she cleaned off the blood. It didn't bother him at all. Right now, he's focused on particepating in some comedy relief with Kinkajou. He snuggles with her after the brief playfighting.

Ninja lies back down, assured by John's words. He trusts everyone will aide him in his fight for survival and that's risen his confidance that he'll pull through. He isn't so much worried about himself at the moment though. He's worried about Kamaria. Despite she killed one of her sister's pups and badly injured another, he doesn't wish any death upon on her at all. He understands she commited infanticide to ensure her own pups stand a better chance of survival. She was going by her instincts. He's sure she's attempted to fight them off but unfortunately, she buckled under the overpowering urge to murder. Ninja sighs glumly, feeling miserable for his mate and Kumi, realizing they both were betrayed by their siblings.

*Velmarie went to another burrow chamber that was quiet. She caught only pieces of the conversation going on. Kamaria was a murderer? Bravo was Linda's brother? And Aliya's pups might be injured. She sighed over more bad news...*

John goes in the chamber where Velmarie was and nuzzles her. Today has been a big deal for all of us... A lot has happened... The war against the Midnights, Ninja being savagely attacked by Bravo, and all this news. Hopefully... everyone could sleep this off. But it could take a long while to recover, especially for Ninja.

*Velmarie nuzzled him back and leaned on his shoulder.*
Velmarie: "It's hard to believe how much can change in a single day. Yes we'll all recover with sleep, and tomorrow will start fresh. Is everyone ok for the night?"

Ninja shakes the bad thoughts from his mind so he can concentrate on getting a good night's sleep. He's going to need his strength for the rocky road to recovery ahead. He delicately shifts into a comfortable position, so as to not irritate his wounds. Once comfortable, he closes his eyes, eager to put this terrible day behind him. It'll take weeks, perhaps a month before he's back to being in good health. But for now, his life hangs in the balance. His will to survive will be put to the test tonight to see if he's strong enough to make to the next day.

Conker gazes at Ninja worriedly for a few moments before departing from the chamber to find a suitable spot he can sleep in for the night. As he wanders the tunnel complex, He thinks over the tragic events in his mind. The day started off so promising but ended in tragedy. The only thing the fight with the Midnights resulted in was more suffering. Ninja emerged from the war gravely injured, and is now on his death bed, they discovered Kamaria murdered a pup and savagely attacked another, then Kamaria was thrown out of the group, potentially permanently. He sighs, feeling too restless to be able to sleep this off. He predicts a night filled with nightmares will be in store for everyone in the group.

Aliya stands by Duke and looks around for danger. She knew that predators could smell blood and with most of the mob having acquired wounds in the fight, there was a chance thata predator could be attracted to the group.

Suri also looks around warily.

Emzio watches birds glumly. So much had happened today. The group had gone to war. Ninja's and one of Kumi's pup's lives were in the balance and another of Kumi's pups was killed by one of their own. She hoped that tomorrow would be better...

Seeing the drama die down and the others start to leave, Linda cuddles close to Ninja and starts to rest, calling their pups to them as well.

Tyson walks in and cuddles with his mother and father.

Duke heads out of the chamber and into the main one.

Phoebe awakens from her slumber when she heard Linda. Seeing she was cuddling with Ninja, she stood up, stretched, and walked over, snuggling with both her parents. She yawned again, before getting cozy.

Hearing her mother's soft cooing calls, Ninji stops weeping and gets to her feet, vacating into the chamber where her parents are. She huddles with her family, getting comfortable for the night.

Conker finds a suitable looking spot, a soft sand mound, and plops down the moment his feet make contact with the comfortable bed-like structure. He sighs with reluctance, not wanting to go to bed. He's too worried about Ninja to even think about catching some Zs.

Ninja closes his eyes, intending to get a good night's sleep. With his loving family at his side, he focuses on staying strong for them, determined to make it through the night.

John nodded. Everyone is getting ready to sleep... We should do the same ourselves. As much as it'd be hard, they needed to sleep and get their strength. For the next several weeks, or even a month, everyone would be working hard to help Ninja.

*Velmarie yawned in agreement. She lied down next to John, closing her eyes and willing good rest to come.*

John cuddles with Velmarie and gets comfortable. He closed his eyes, hoping to fall asleep. It'd be a rough night for everyone. Most may not even be able to sleep, or just not get enough rest. Hopefully, in due time, the Jumaa could pull through these tragic events and that they would only grow stronger as a family.

With their entire little family huddled up (I'll justs say the other one is there too) Linda starts to fall asleep herself. She'll try to sleep lightly though, incase something were to happen.
