Alfonso awakens from his nap, yawning and stretching. He glances around in a groggy daze. He's unaware, that at this very moment, the not so unlucky Bad Luck is cuddling with his lady in the mob's sight.

*Nala looked around, noticing others were watching them. She sighed, looking down at her round belly. She hoped both of them would be able to stay. But if not? Nala would defidently invite an uproar. But for now he was here! She groomed him, welcoming him back.*

Peachy watches Bad Luck and Nala's adorable snuggle session a few minutes longer before trailing her eyes over to Running Star. Her heart rate elevates knowing their fate in her paws.

Now fully awake, Alfonso gets to his feet, shaking his pelt which sends sand spraying in all directions. Seeing the group gathered near a thicket of grass, he tilts his head, wondering what's going on. He heads in that direction to investigate.

Bad luck grooms nala back

Alfonso squeezes past the adults, making his way up to the front. When he reaches the opening in the crowd of meerkats, he frowns with dismay when his eyes meet a familiar figure. Bad Luck. He bares his teeth, a growl erupting from his throat. He wonders why the group hasn't chased him off Zipper property yet. He's an unwanted male and should be chased off immediately. Upon closer inspection, Alfonso sees Nala snuggling up to him and calms down. It appears he returned with intentions to only visit his lady. He can't help to feel happy for the meerkat couple. Nala has been yearning to see him again and it makes him feel warm inside to see them together after spending such a long time apart.

*Nala smiled for the first time in awhile.*
Nala: "You know we'll be having pups?"

A warm feeling envelops Peachy as she saw Nala reveal a smile. She hasn't done that in a while. It's great to see her happy after watching her mope around for several weeks. She hopes Running Star will allow Bad Luck to stay with Nala. She can't bare to see Nala depressed without her Romeo.

Alfonso smiles as he saw Nala express her happiness. He hasn't seen her this happy in a while. She and Bad Luck are meant to be together. But it's up to Running Star to decide whether they can be together or will have to deal with having a forbidden relationship.

Running Star turns away. It's not up to her if the male stays...

Lewa runs up to Bad Luck and sniffs him curiously.

Sassy rolls her eyes, before turning away and smirking...

*Nala looked over at Peachy and Alfonso hopefully, knowing they probably wouldn't mind Bad Luck staying. Nala looked for Dominic...so it was up to him?*

((OOC: Eh, why not? I'll cover Dominic.))

Dominic had been forging and unaware of Bad Luck's presence. Finally taking notice of the forging party being gathered nearby, he titles his head in curiosity and he began to approach to see what was going on. Pushing through the group, he finally sees the big deal. Bad Luck! He growls for a second, but watches as Bad Luck and Nala exchange loving moments with each other. He couldn't help but feel a little warm inside.

Fable watches Dominic and tenses. Would he allow Bad Luck to stay? He couldn't possibly break up true love. You'd have to have a heart of stone to do that. She hopes deep down Dominic will allow the male to stay.

Dasher looks up and notices Bad Luck and Nala. He titled his head. Who was that male? He munches on a scorpion he found real fast and walks over to investigate.

ooc: Ok.

Peachy's pulse races as she watched the distance between Dominic and Bad Luck lessen. Having experienced Dominic attempt to sabatage her and Shakespeare's strong romantic relationship many times, she expects him to do the same to Nala and Bad Luck. Her muscles become tense, bracing herself to become a spectator of a vicious fight.

Alfonso watches Dominic approach Bad Luck feeling a little tense himself. He remembers those times when Dominic would attack Shakespeare every time he came here to visit his mother. Both couples are madly in love with each other, but it didn't stop Dominic from trying to sabatage his mother's relationship. Will he attempt to ruin Bad Luck and Nala's as well?

*Nala glanced at Dominic, noting that his expression seemed neutral. She wondered to herself if she should threaten violence if he wasn't allowed to stay, or beg for mercy on his behalf like a helpless puppy. Well that would go against her nature. She did nothing yet, just continued to groom Bad Luck. Everyone else seemed to want him there, so maybe that would increase his chances of remaining.*

Dominic quickly shook his head. No, he couldn't let himself feel like that. Shakespeare caused plenty of trouble with Peachy. And now another male dared tried to do the same with Nala. He growls again, narrowing his eyes at Bad Luck. He wanted him gone. NOW.

Fable tensed some more. No, don't reject him you idiot! Couldn't he see how happy Nala and Bad Luck were together?! She growls silently under her breath, but knew it wasn't her place to do anything about it.

Dasher saw what was going on and gulped. Looked like a fight would happen at any given moment.

*Nala looked up at Dominic slowly, her brow narrowed and her eyes showing anger like lightning. From the moment she joined, she'd never gotten along with him.*
Nala: "What did you say?"
*Her voice was a strained whisper...a challenge. Daring him to say no again.*

Peachy watches in dismay as Dominic orders Bad Luck to scram. She sighs in disappointment. She knew that would be the out come. It doesn't surprise her at all considering she had gone through the same situation when Shakespeare tried to join. It angers her that Dominic is sabataging Nala's chances of being with Bad Luck, but there's nothing she can do to stop it, knowing that'll jeopardize her position in the group.

Alfonso tenses up as the situation escalates. It also disappoints him that Dominic rejected Nala and Bad Luck's wish to be together but the more he thinks about it, an ingroup relationship could come with consequences. Bad Luck and Nala could pose a threat to Dominic and Running Star's dominance. Nala is already seen as a potential threat to Running Star's pups. Could they afford to add another potential threat to the current unnerving situation in the mob's ranks? He shuffles his paws, now feeling unsure about Nala and Bad Luck being together in the group.

Dominic then glares at Nala, baring his fangs a bit. He leaves. NOW. You already jeopardize your position in this mob Nala. Show any further rebellious behavior and I'm sure Running Star will be more than happy to evict you. Its either you stop or risk being evicted and loosing the pups you shouldn't even be baring! He was putting Running Star's well being above all else. She was going to have their litter tonight, and he REFUSED to allow anything to go wrong. Letting Bad Luck in could and probably would threaten his position as dominant male, and Nala already posed a threat to his unborn pups. If she did ANYTHING to harm Running Star or his pups, he'll rip her to shreds.

Fable sighed. She understood Dominic was looking out for his mate, their unborn pups, and their positions in the mob. But she did feel sympathetic toward Nala. She'd be outraged if she was in her paws. But there's nothing that could be done. Dominic clearly made up his mind and looked as if he wasn't going to change it anytime soon.

Dasher cringed at Dominic's tone. He sounded ready to kill. But like Fable, he understood he was only looking out for Running Star. She was going to have her litter anytime today, and he knew Dominic was on edge because of that, and saw Bad Luck and Nala being together as big threat. Not only to his unborn pups, but also to his and Running Star's dominance.

Well, there it was. The decision. Running Star trusted her mate entirely, and his choice was final. Bad Luck was to be gone. And possibly Nala if she had a problem with that. Running Star charges at Bad Luck, ready to chase him out.

Peachy quivers at Dominic's threatening words, remembering when she was evicted by Running Star not long ago. She got lucky when she was allowed to rejoin after Running Star gave birth. She could've very easily bannished her from the Zippers for good if she wanted to, to ensure her pups wouldn't have competition and to protect her future litters from infantacide. Peachy is good about controlling her maternal instincts though, so she feels the female leader can trust her around her pups while pregnant. Like the others, She, too, understands Dominic is doing what's best for his mate and unborn litter. They're due any day now and with 2 other pregnant subordinates to consider, he has every right to be protective of his unborn pups. Even if Bad Luck was granted acceptance, there will always be that looming threat he could attempt to over throw Dominic, which could infuence Nala to over throw Running Star. As Running Star barrels towards Bad Luck, Peachy watches in terror as it looks like a vicious fight will ensue.

Alfonso directs a witty smirk at Nala and Bad Luck. Dominic is standing firm with his decision so that means Bad Luck needs to leave, now. If Nala has a problem with it, he'd be glad to help the dominants eject her from the group as well. He also understands the leading male is doing what's best for his unborn litter. They're due very soon and he's determined to do what ever it takes to help his respected leaders keep them safe. He's loyal to Running Star and Dominic, so what ever their decision, he's going by it. As he saw Running Star war dance at Bad Luck, He tenses up, ready to help if the situation escalates to violence.

*Nala's quicky ignited anger was reaching it's boiling point. Her sharp claws tore out the grass beneath her, fighting to control herself. But no- that retort had gone too far. *
Nala: "Oh, he leaves?! Well you only weaken the strenth of this mob. How on earth would he be a threat to you! The poor boy couldn't hurt a fly!! And NO one will evict me, I'm leaving this dump! You couldn't rip me to shreds because I'd KILL you first!!"
*Nala walked twards Dominic, snarling.*

Dominic's blank expression doesn't change as Nala threatened to kill him. She was very vulnerable at this point, due to her pregnancy. And being both faster and stronger, he charged and pinned Nala down with ease, bringing his fangs close to her swollen stomach. Either you leave peacefully, or I'll ensure your pups will pay the price for your rebellious behavior! I'll bite your stomach repeatedly and your pups will die Nala. Are you willing to toss their lives away just because you're not getting your way? Leave with your so-called mate. And don't ever come back. He truthfully didn't want to kill the unborn pups, but if it'd get Nala to listen and not resort into violence, he'll do it. But if Nala did have motherly instincts, she'd not fight and not risk harm or death to her unborn litter. What would her choice be?

Fable cringed as Dominic pinned Nala down and threatened to kill her unborn litter if she didn't cooperate. She bared her fangs a bit. Come on Nala, just stop! She had to think of her unborn litter's safety besides her own. Would she be so willing to get them killed by Dominic? Being a strong male, she knew he could easily kill Nala's litter with several bites to her stomach.

Dasher shut his eyes, not wanting to watch. Hearing Dominic made his blood run cold. He... he wouldn't dare kill an unborn litter, would he? Then again, the dominant male was in his protective phase due to Running Star giving birth any day. He was going to do whatever he felt was needed to ensure his litter's safety, even if it meant killing another litter.

*Nala couldn't help but laugh. Oh did he not know how fast and strong she was? As soon as he got near to her stomach, she rammed her head into his nose- and hard. Being a preassure point on the body, this would hurt pretty bad. She easily got away, and put enough distance between them so he couldn't get to her right away.*
Nala: "You are no longer my DM, I will leave as I please. And if you touch my pups, oh you do not know the revenge I'd get on you."

Peachy is horrified when Dominic threatens to terminate Nala's pregnancy. Would he really do something so heinous? She becomes petrified when an image of Dominic tearing into Nala's stomach enters her mind. Just the thought of him killing the unborn pups makes her sick to her stomach. As a mother, she'd be reacting the same exact way as Nala if someone threatened murder on her litter, but she'd choose the wiser option of surrendering. Nala is being selfish by continuing to be combative. She's risking the lives of her unborn litter so she can get in the last word. Just back off already for your unborn pups' sake! She needs to be thinking about her unborn pups' safty instead of being defiant. Dominic is in over protective mode and he'll do anything to ensure his litter would have the best in life, and if that meant commiting infantacide, he'd do it if he had no choice. Peachy cringes as Nala delivered a horrific blow to Dominic's nose. She runs over, worried the assault may have seriously injured him.

Alfonso's eyes widen in horror when Dominic threatens to kill Nala's unborn litter. He can't...he wouldn't dare....would he? He understands his role model is determined to do what ever it takes to protect his unborn pups, but does he really want to resort to murdering someone else's litter? It's a choice with a terrible cost, it'll certainly leave him psychologically scarred for life, but it seems Nala is refusing to back down. It's looking like killing Nala's litter may be Dominic's last resort if that's what it's going to take to ensure his litter will be safe once born. Alfonso allows a growl to erupt from his throat, encouraging Nala to surrender. What she's doing is foolish and selfish. She's endangering the lives of her unborn litter by continuing to be defiant. She needs to stop now or it'll cost her, her unborn pups' lives as well as her own. As he saw her slam into Dominic's nose, he gasps with horror, then directs an enraged snarl at the retreating Nala.

Running Star turns around to help her mate... She wants Nala gone as well...
