Roleplay-24th of December

Dominic yelped as Nala headbutted his nose. Extreme pain spread from his nose to most of his body. He stumbled back in shock and pain, shaking his head. Blood dripped from his nose from the attack. His anger boiled pass the limit point. Letting out an outraged roar, he charged at Nala, aiming for her stomach. He no longer cared if he DID kill Nala's pups or not. Now he wanted her long gone and away from the Zippers.

Fable watched as Dominic charged at Nala. She growls quietly. Nala had to stop this. All she was doing was further exposing her unborn litter. If she made even one false move, Dominic would possibly use that chance to strike at her swollen stomach. Nala HAD to stop being so prideful and foolish, or her pups would end up paying the price of her defiance.

Dasher cracked open an eye to see Dominic charging at Nala, his body language clearly showing he was in an outrageous mode and looked intended to cause great harm or even worse... Death. He looked at Nala desperately. Just stop it already! What would this accomplish?! Only pain and suffering... And Nala could possibly loose her litter for her defiance and being too proud to surrender peacefully. Just go and leave peacefully with Bad Luck!

*Nala ran off and out of sight in a quick flash. Yes, she was quite a careless mother- her temper often blinding her. She'd never had pups before and didn't totally understand what it meant. Hopefully Bad Luck would know where she was...she got on top of a hill- taking one final look at the mob. She would miss Peachy and Alfonso...Tosca and Shakespeare too. Well what a mess this was...oh well it was the story of her life.*

Peachy can feel her heart pounding rapidly against her chest as she watched Dominic charge at, and is quickly gaining on, Nala. She fears she's about to watch the enraged male mercilessly kill Nala's unborn litter right before her eyes. Why didn't the stupid rebel just surrender when she was given the chance? Now her poor litter is about to pay a fatal price for her defaince. Peachy lowers her head and shakes it in despair. She looks back up, muscles tensed, as she suddenly developed the urge to go after Dominic and stop him. She desperately wants to save Nala's litter from facing a terrible fate, but there's nothing she can do. Dominc will be on top of Nala before she would reach them. Just as things were looking bleak though, she sees the distance between Nala and Dominic lengthen. She seems to be out running Dominic, but will she get away with her pups lives spared?

Alfonso grits his teeth in horror as he watched Dominic charge at Nala. Why didn't she just keep her big mouth shut and leave when she was ordered to the first time? If she doesn't cut this out now, her litter will be the ones to pay a deadly price for her prideful and selfish atittude. He growls, fed up with Nala. If she manages to escape with her unborn pups' lives intact, he hopes this will be a lessen learned for her on what will happen the next time she shows insubordination, that is, IF she's ever allowed back into the Zipper's ranks.

*Nala's anger was replaced by joy at seeing Bad Luck with her.*
Nala: "Thank Angels you're here! I knew I could count on you. Will you always be with me? Yes-let's find a new mob. One that would accept us. Is there even a mob that would?"

Rimi,Quida and Feiro came into the scene. Rimi started to greet everyone and her tail twiched from side to side. Feiro greeted the females and sat for a chat. Quida was more cautious and she slowly greeted every one and she warmly greeted the pups. Rimi wanted to be accepted so she tried to be really friendly and smelled everyones scent to show she wanted to be their friends. Feiro wanted to feel a part of the mob so he was nice and supported everybody. Quida spent more time with the pups before introducing herself fully to everyone but she also wanted to now every one.

Peachy relaxes as Bad Luck and Nala managed to outrun Dominic and vanished over a dune. Their future is uncertain but she hopes they stay safe and together out there in the vast dangerous expanse of the Kalahari. Perhaps another mob will grant them acceptance, but with Nala pregnant, what ever mobs they come across may not be so quick to allow them into their ranks. Females are rarely accepted into wild mobs because they're potential competition for a dominant female and her litters, so Nala and Bad Luck face a bleak future. Peachy exhales a worried sigh. The chances of Nala's litter surviving is looking slim. She hopes Nala and Bad Luck find a willing mob before her due date. At the moment, Peachy is too wrapped up in her thoughts to notice 3 strangers boldly striding up to the group and cheerily greeting everyone.

Alfonso watches as Nala and Bad Luck become dots on the horizon. He wonders if this will be the last time the mob will see them alive again. Life in exile is dangerous, he knows from experience because his mother was living the life of an evictee when she gave birth to him and his sister Cyanide. He hopes the meerkat couple and their unborn litter stay safe out there in the perilous Kalahari. He and his sister's first weeks of life were perilous. He hopes their litter won't have to go through the same ordeal. Alfonso also doesn't notice the stranger, a bit preoccupied with watching Bad Luck and Nala legthen their distance from the Zippers.

Rimi looks at the horizon and wondered what happened to the two meerkats that run off. The female seemed pregnant and Rimi new that out there the world wasn´t friendly.Feiro come up to Peachy and greets her kindly , he looks at Rimi and shares her thoughts about the runways. Quida settled down for a nap near a bush, appreciating the shade in a hot Kalahari day. Rimi is lost in her thoughts and after a while she settles with Quida for grooming time.

Two meerkat appear in the zippers territory. They are Abdec and Aphrodite ready to aproach. They call out greetings to the other meerkats.They stay close together but they are happy to be in a group. They feel at home now. Abdec lies down staring at another meerkat. It is also a newcomer Rimi. Aphrodite walks around greeting everyone. She is obviously more confident. Abdec rises and walks over to Aphrodite. They are tired from their long walk and doze off in the warm sand.

*Nala felt more confident with Bad Luck by her side. As long as he was there than maybe she and the pups could still live well.*
Nala: "Well which mob should we go to? Do we know of any others?"

Yes follow me she started into a run across the sand

Rimi walks over to Abdec and settles down beside him and starts to groom his fur. Feiro can´t keep his eyes off Aphrodite and tries hard not to look at her but ends up walking over to her and greeting her then sitting beside her and chating. Quida snoozes off under the bush and dreams about the runways so many question and answers she thought. Quida woke up and shook the sand off her fur and looked at the little pups.

Aphrodite was hanging out with Feiro. She liked this male.So they lay together sunbathing.
Abdec was grooming Rimi.

*Nala nodded, running after him. Despite her being pregnant, she could still run fast.*

Sensing the presence of a being in her proximity, Peachy looks over to meet the eyes of one of the most adorable pups she's ever seen! She churrs with adoration, return a cheery greeting to the handsome little one known as Feiro. He has such beautiful eyes, and what a gorgious pelt! He certainly has the potential to attract many ladies as he gets older. As she pulls her eyes away from Feiro, she notices 4 unrecognizable pups exuberantly scampering around the group, boldly introducing themselve to every Zipper member. She's surprised to see them bounding right up to adults they don't even know. They're only pups though, they lack the judgement to know that approaching a strange group could be fatal. She trusts no one in the Zippers would dare to do such a heinous thing. You'd have to have a heinous personality to inflict injury or death on a cute, innocent little pup.

Finally, Alfonso takes notice of the 5 pups bounding around the group, boldly greeting every mob member. They look to be a month younger than him. He's surprised to see them brazenly making themselves at home when they haven't even been granted acceptance yet. They're in the midst of a strange mob. They're taking a huge gamble by just nonchalantly going about their pupish ways. But they're only pups. They don't yet understand strangers could endanger their lives. Having gotten to know the Zipper's dispostion, Alfonso trusts they wouldn't dare hurt any of these pups. As he watches their vibrant antics, he chuckles with amusement.

Dominic snarls as Nala and Bad Luck went out of sight. Good. If they ever came back, he'll kill them. Especially Nala. Then again, he never got along with her in the first place. Still... Her behavior was enough to cause him to dislike her possibly permanently. He began to tend to his bleeding nose, or at last, trying to.

Fable also sees the pups and couldn't help but feel her stress from the fight fade away. While she was a tough female, not even she could resist the adorable pups. She smiled, watching them. Hopefully Running Star and Dominic would take these pups in. They would no doubt increase the mob's numbers.

Dasher chrrs in an adorable way. Awwww! He loved pups! He really hoped Running Star and Dominic wouldn't turn these pups away. Who could?! He lowered himself to their level, watching them adoringly.

Running Star approaches the pups... She scent-marks all of them. She's interested in adopting one as her own, but which one?

Abdec and Aphrodite play fight with each other. Then Abdec rises and runs over to a bush. Aphrodite folows and settles beside him. Abdec watches the group do their activities.

Rimi sees other adults standing up on their hind legs and she tries to stand up too but she falls back to the ground. She tries again and again but she knows practice makes perfect. Quida goes toward Alfonso and greets him by putting her tiny paw on his nose.
Feiro tries to make new friends and greets Peachy then looks at her with big grey eyes.

Aphrodite went over to Running Star. With her tail up high she confidently walked over. She touched her nose to Running Star´s cheek. She tried to stand up but fell back. She looked over to Abdec. He seemed to be able to stand up without a problem. Both pups raced toward the burrow entrance. Then they saw Dominic with an injured. Abdec went over. Stood up. And licked Dominic´s wound. Then he went back to play with Aphrodite.

Rimi starts to playfight with Abdec squealing of joy she wiggles and wiggles untill they fall down the burrow entrance. Quida puts her other paw on Alfonso´s nose as a way of saying hi. Feiro races to Aphrodite to playfight with her , He rolls her up into a little bundle.

*Nala nodded. She was- having many mouths to feed.*
Nala: "Let's stop and eat. We might need strenth for the journey. How far will we go?"

Rimi got tired so the little pup went to the burrow to sleep after a tiring walk in the Kalahari. Quida put both her paws on Alfonso´s nose to say bye an went after her friend.Feiro gave Peachy a little hug and followed Quida. It had been a harsh day for them and many adventures were to come.
