Roleplay- 4th of January

ooc: I don't know if you're aware Faymeerkat but I posted in your character's bio thread that there's already a meerkat named Fay. However, you can still keep the name but spell it differently. Example: Faye, Fae, etc.

Linda looks at Ninja when she hears him yelp and peeps, asking what happened.

Duke inspects the stranger.

ooc- Will there be a new day soon?

ooc: It's kind of uncertain at the moment. It's been considerably slow here for a while due to Linklu having gained momentum and everyone being busy with school and such. It may take a while for the new day to be put up. We still have a while to go in some mobs.

Caffeine's eyes widen as she watches Akita crash into Ninja's leg... Oooh... that had to hurt! However, to her surprise and relief, the pup seems to be unharmed...she quickly starts running again before Ninji can take the opportunity to catch her.. Oh no, she's goign to get caught because she was stalling! Oh well. What she doesn't realize is that Ninji was also distracted.

Ooc:Hello everyone, I have recently come back after being away for a very LONG time . I am very out of order atm on here, if someone could inform me of some major events as well as any newer members of the mob please tell me! Thank you. Shallow

ooc: Hey Shallow welcome back Currently, the mob is just foraging. A few new meerkats did immegrate in while you were away. They are: Comet (male) Caffeine (Female pup). Ninja and Linda, a female who immegrated in from the Willows a while back, recently had a litter which is out foraging for the first time.

Ah thanks I dont think i will be roleplaying for a day or two as i have school and other things. Plus this weekend have to go camping :/, But I need to change a little bit on shallow maybe idk maybe introduce another character too? But i only want 2 at a time since over 1 is very difficult for me but i think i can handle it so maybe we can discuss this is pm or something?

ooc: That's fine and understandable. Life is more important than the role play. What ever is up to you. If you feel more comfortable starting over and introducing a new set of characters feel free to do so And if you want to just play Shallow along with another character that's also fine. What ever makes you feel comfortable

Seeing no signs of hostility, Aliya chin swipes Fay, accepting her into the Jumaa. They surely were popular today, weren't they?

John smiles and peeps a welcome to Fay.

Root doesn't notice and is forging.

Petal does the same.

Kamaria chirrs and watches her pups.

Ninja grins as he witnesses Aliya accept Fay into the group. He trots over to give her a warm reception.

Ninji hadn't noticed the Jumaa had just gained a new member and had resumed pursuing the other pups a minute ago.

Caffeine doesn't notice Faye either immediately and continues playing with the others. However she turns around at one point and sees her. Hey, who's that?

Ninji hears Caffeine inquire about the identity of the foreigner behind her and stops. Following her gaze, the easygoing little girl's eyes eventually lay upon Faye. She tilts her head a little, curious herself as to who the unfamiliar grown-up is. I have no clue but she seems to be genial with the Jumaa adults. Maybe she had been seeking a group to join? I say we should go find out. Ninji enthusiastically began to walk towards Faye and the adults that have gathered around her.

Akita stopped what she was doing, eyes drawn to the newcomer. Fur fluffed up, she bravely stalked up to Faye, sniffing her side. Smiling at how brave she was, she 'Mrrp'd.'

Cloud eyes the newcomer warily. He cautiously follows the other pups.

Ninji enthusiastically traipses up to Faye, greeting her with a congenial grin. The foreigner seems mellow so it's suffice to say she can be trusted.

Ninja is sniffing Faye's pelt thoroughly, wrinkling his nose every now and then when strange scents enter his nostrils. He doesn't recognise any of the scents so it's clear she isn't from around this part of the Kalahari.

(I'm back! )
*Velmarie had been absent for awhile. She'd missed everyone! Especially John- where was he? She was so happy to be back...*

((OOC: Le GASP, MUCKIE! ))

Aliya seems satisfied and went back to forging.

John continued sentry duty, but was in thought. Where had Velmarie go? He missed her terribly. Everyday without her by his side made him feel miserable. He felt incomplete without his lady.

Root digs up a lizard and eats it.

Petal grabs a scorpion and disarms it, eating the crunchy meal.

Ninja and Ninji were busy socializing with Faye and fail to take notice of Velmarie making a return to the group.

On her way to greet Faye, Caffeine watches as Petal eats the scorpion. Being a brand new forager, she was unfamiliar this desert delicacy. The distractable little pup goes over to Petal... Whatcha eating? She notices Velmarie nearby and greets her with a quick chirp and then continues to focus on the meal that Petal is clearly enjoying.

Linda continues to watch over her pups, making sure that nothing happens to them. She also makes an effort to watching the entire group, but is more focused on the pups.

Tyson is with Ninja.

Duke is foraging calmly near the others.

*Velmarie, too, felt the same way...she was looking frantically for John. She knew he was here somewhere- there he was! She ran over to him and gave him a big bear hug.*
Velmarie: "Oh John- how I missed you! I don't ever wanna leave you again!"

John looks up as he heard the sound of paws heading in his direction. At first, he's tense and looks to see who it was. But once his golden orbs spot who it was, his heart began to race. It was as if the Heavens themselves had sent him his Angel back! Barking happily, he didn't waste time and returned her hug, nuzzling her lovingly. He felt complete once more. She was back... she was back! W... where have you been...? But he shook his head. But... I'm... glad you're back... He resumes his loving nuzzling, just happy to be reunited with Velmarie. His Angel, his Lady, his everything...

Aliya watches the warming reunion of John and Velmarie with a happy expression. Those two surely belonged together. Seeing them back together was a happy feeling. Smiling, she went back to forging, seeing such a happy reunion placed her in a good mood.

Root took notice of Caffeine asking Petal about the scorpion she was eating. He came over. That's called a scorpion young pup. It can be a tricky prey since it can sting you. But we're luckily immune to their poison. They're pretty tasty. He then took notice of John and Velmarie. He couldn't help but smile.

Petal allows her brother to explain as she couldn't. She even breaks a piece off her prey, offering it to Caffeine so she could try. Due to this, she fails to witness the touching reunion between John and his lady Velmarie.

As he was taking a moment to survey the vicinity for predators, the touching reunion of John and Velmarie enters Ninja's line of sight. His eyes dilate in shock as he instantly recognizes Velmarie. Holy scorpions! That's...that's Velmarie. She's back! He grins, delighted she came back alive and even more joyous now that John is happily reunited with his much cherished lady.

Ninji had gotten distracted by a heard of gemsbok off in the distance and is oblivious to John and Velmarie's heartwarming reunion.

Caffeine begins to sample the bite of scorpion... it's delicious! The pup savors the crunchy delicacy... maybe she'll get Petal to teach her the find more delicious prey. If not, Orkid seemed pretty nice as did everyone else. Caffeine chrrs and she finishes the last of her meal and chrrs... Thanks! It was yummy! She looks at Root and then back at Petal... Hey you two look quite a bit like! Are you siblings?
