Roleplay - 1st of September, 2009

Enigma and Snowstorm's litter ...... Due 6th of September.
Cyan and Snowstorm's litter ....... Due 15th of September.

Snowstorm emerged. He scent marked the burrow.

Flurry emerged next. Although he wasn't showing it, he was getting the urge to explore the desert. He wanted to start a family of his own. But for now, he was committed to this family. He cleaned the burrow entrance.

Enigma appeared by the burrow mouth. She sat away from the others, growling at whoever got too close.

Flurry waited patiently for his family to emerge.

Cyan emerged, yawning loudly. She walked over to Snowstorm, smirking.
Snowstorm groomed Cyan.
Enigma jumped up, snarling. She had had enough.

Flurry sensed a fight emerging!

Cyan snarled at Enigma. Who did she think she was? She threw herself at Enigma, and the two began wrestling on the ground. Cyan had Enigma pinned, who was struggling to free herself. Cyan snickered, but Enigma twisted, freeing herself. She then lept up and pinned Cyan, leaning down to growl in her face. Surrender now or I'll rip your throat out.

Flurry knew better than to get involved, but this frequent bickering would eventually tear this small group apart.

With no other option, Cyan submitted to Enigma. She may be defeated now, but Enigma should watch her back...
Enigma set about scent marking the others. It felt good to be dominant again. Snowstorm walked over to her, and groomed her.

Flurry was a bit shocked by this change in dominance, but instead, resumed foraging. He just had to grow used to it...

Fantasy walked up to Flurry and chirped. She'll go on sentry duty. She climbed untop of a bush and scanned the area. Being high up made her feel like she was ontop of the world, but she knew she had to stay focussed
While Enigma foraged, Snowstorm was nearby, apologising constantly. Enigma pushed him away. When she was done carring his pups, she was going to find herself a new mate.

Cyan snickered and slowly sat down. Things were to be calm for now... She was not any ordinary meerkat. She was taught evil ways as a teenager, and it would always be that way. But if it was one thing she would learn, it was patience. Something she had never had before.

ooc: obviously I'm back.

bic: Enigma was unaware of Cyan's thoughts. She foraged and caught herself a millipede, which she ate hungrily.
Snowstorm followed her where ever she went.
Fantasy remained alert, but there was no imediate danger.

Stormy padded along the vast stretch pf desert, keeping her eyes peeled for a family, hoping they might accept her. Then her eyes fell upon a somewhat small group, grooming or catching the sun around the burrow. Stormy padded over to the and chirped, making her presence known. She hoped she was allowed in to the Gang.

Enigma heard Stormy's chirp. She narrowed her eyes. Another female? Another rival was the last thing she needed. But, this female might not be her rival, and the group could do with some more members. She walked up to Stormy and scent marked her, accepting her into the gang.
Fantasy jumped down from her post and bounded over to Stormy, chirping an hello.

Stormy chirped back, happy she had been accepted into the Gang. This could be her chance to finally have a family, to finally have a home. after chirping, Stormy ran of towards the burrow hoping to meet new meerkats and new friends. Stormy had begun a new life.

Cyan smiles for once and dips her head in greeting... O.o

Stormy dips her head back and grooms the Dominant, hoping to get in her good books right of the bat. If Stormy could do this, Cyan might let her succeed her when she dies.

Enigma narrowed her eyes. Cyan was her rival, and she had to make sure she behaved. She charged over, growling, and roughly hipslammed Cyan. She then scent marked both her and Stormy.
Fantasy watched, and then returned to her post.

ooc: Hey Pancake, are you having trouble getting onto Linklu? It keeps saying that I can't acess the site.

Cyan snarled and rammed into Enigma, she wasn't doing anything wrong! (I'll have you know that she only said hi. O.o)

Stormy watched at Cyan's cruel treatment, amazed at her punishment for only saying hi. Stormy would have stood up to this meerkat, but that might mean she would be kicked out of of the group. For now she would keep her distance.

Cyan glanced at Stormy, she may spare that one. But she turns back to Enigma.

Stormy growls and stalks past Engima and heads towards the group burrow. She did not want to be caught up in the old group rivalry.

Enigma growled, and once satisfied, she walked off and began to forage.
Fantasy watched the goning-ons. She thought Enigma was a bit over-the-top, but decided to keep her thoughts to herself.

Cyan smirks and grooms herself. It wasn't over. Far from it.
