Roleplay-6th of July 2009

This is where we can start the roleplay.

A young female emerged from her bolthole. Her name was Stripe. She had been evicted from her last group, The Olmec (I just randomly chose that) and hadn't been able to rejoin. She looked across the horizon. All seemed well but she was still a bit nervous and refused to leave the bolthole.

Not far away, a male named Streak was foraging. He seemed to be having no luck, and moved on to another patch of dirt. But, he suddenly spotted a meerkat in the distance, who appeared to be alone. He watched, curious.

She saw Streak, and thinking that another mob was with him, turned around and hid in the burrow.

Running Star, who was evicted from the Sheikah mob by her mother, Wishing Star, just a week earlier for having had pups, nervously peeked out of the tall plants, where she had been foraging. A puff adder had bitten her a few months ago, and though her paw still hurt a bit, she attempted to get a better view of Streak by climbing onto a fallen tree trunk.

Streak had seen the meerkat dash back into the burrow, he didn't mean to scare her. He sighs, unaware of Running Star watching.

After a while, when no attack came, Stripe calmed down slightly, and peered out of the burrow. Streak was still standing there. But she could see Running Star as well. She could sense that the meerkat was ill or injured in some way, and wanted to go over and help. But with Streak watching her, she was still a bit nervous.

Lewa, a rather adventurous young male, about 6 months, frolics in the distance. He had wandered off again. As he chased a moth, he runs towards where Stripe and the others were... His green eyes glitter and he runs.

Streak tried to approach, keeping as low as possible to show he was no threat. He wasn't here to hurt Stripe, or rove. He needed a place to stay.

Stripe straightened up as Streak moved over. She watched him closely. She then saw the odd green eyed pup run out of nowhere, and she lost her nerves and dissapeared back into the burrow.

Lewa suddenly notices Stripe... He realizes that he has wandered away from his family. Where was he?

Running Star realized that Lewa was separated from his group, and too young to be a rover. She had not seen any threats from the others, so she very slowly climbed down and came out of hiding. She did not know whether or not to approach him, so she kept a watchful eye over him, as her group had done for her at his age.

Lewa peeps a hello to Running Star...

Streak whips around, noticing the newcomers. He stands tall, watching them.

OOC: I took Homestar Runner's name and combined "Runner" with "Star", changing "Runner" to "Running"

Running Star scrambled to follow the others. When she found a good area to dig, she began to do so. She found a millipede, and proceeded to eat it. She dug in another spot, and came up empty. She continued a bit more, and took a short rest. Since she had eaten a small amount, and Stripe had not, she cautiously climbed on a stump, hoping to relieve her.

With Stripe on sentry, Streak confidently begins to dig. It takes him a while, but he's finally dug a big hole and pulls a scorpion out of it and eats it, stinger and all.

OOC: I see. If you've never read the Warrior Cats series, i strongly reccomend that you do. They're really good!

Stripe chirped thankfully to Running Star. She clambered down and began to forage, digging up a skink. She looked at the sky. It was getting late.

Running Star scanned the sky, too, and waited for one of the others to give the signal to head back.
