Roleplay - 10th of September

Splash continued to limp after the group.

Leading the way through the scrub, Morning Glory took several repeated actions of taking 10-15 steps ahead of the group before stopping to check that Splash was able to keep up. When it was clear that the pups needed a rest, she would stop the group near a bolt hole so allow time to forage.

Stratus stopped by Morning Glory, chirping encouragingly to Splash. Cloud Catcher stood by her, helping her when she needed it.
Tisca flicked her tail in annoyance. If Cheyenne was so desperate for dominance, then let her have it. When they found the others, Morning Glory would put her in her place anyway.

Leaf smiled at Tisca and dropped the aggression towards Cheyenne. Turning her back, she lightly kicked up a small amount of sand with her back feet and plodded over to groom the other subordinate females.

Tisca smiled at Leaf, and sat with her back to Cheyenne.

Splash smiled weakly at Cloud Catcher.

Badru pawed playfully at Chester Quavers.

Chester Quavers smiled back, and playfully batted him.

ooc: I want to have a pup who has black paws, and name him... Pawz!

ooc: Lol... But how can Chester Quavers smile at Splash? Lol.

bic: Badru tackles his brother (?) playfully.

ooc: I meant at Badru, lol, I kinda mixed up the two lines XP
Andd Chester Quavers is a girl.

ooc: Alright, thought so. In that case... Badru never smiled, X3. As for the gender, alright.

Once Pamela is warmed up, she starts digging at the burrow entrance.

Badru lied down, bored.

Faeya grooms Leaf back. As the most experienced member of the group, Nimbus starts to make lead calls. The group needs to feed. With young pups underground, Faeya volunteered to stay with the pups.

Glancing over her shoulder, Leaf searched for Tisca hoping to find some support.

Badru is unaware that his mom has been overthrown.

Splash stops for a secound to rest.

Cheyenne roughly hip-slams Leaf.

Tisca chirped to Pamela, smiling cheerily.
Chester Quavers curled up and fell asleep.
Cloud Catcher stopped to check on Splash.

Leaf bitterly accepted the rough hip slam but smirked as she walked away after Nimbus. If Morning Glory was to return Leaf might have just escaped the rough return fight and misdirected it onto Cheyenne.. Cunning

Still on the move, Morning Glory found a small hole dug out under the roots of a large bush and hurried over to inspect it. Seeing it empty and smelling musky, she entered and placed Sanders in the darkness and returned to the surface. This would be ideal she thought calling out to the rest of her small splinter family.
They could at least stop and have breakfast.

Cheyenne knew that if the group returned there would be a fight, but Cheyenne could win. She knew she could.

Splash glanced at Cloud Catcher and continued, limping up to Morning Glory.

Badru bats at his sister roughly.

Still walking along with her tail held high Leaf continued to smile to herself plotting what mischief she could get up to around this current dominant now that the crown was shifted onto another's head.

Sat outside the small hole, Morning Glory warmly welcomed the pups as they approached. There would be no more walking for a while and they were free to feed and play.

Splash chrred and laid down, exhausted.

Listening to the sound of Sander’s chirpy little calls from inside the hole, Morning Glory sat contented watching the sky allowing Splash to rest in peace. Smiling to herself, she was glad in a way that the young female had decided to stay with them.

Splash quickly fell asleep.

Nimbus accepted the new dominant. He stayed close to her, keeping an extra eye out for unknown meerkats.

Faeya layed with the pups, feeding the youngsters.
