Roleplay - 10th of September

After receiving her final eviction warning and a very short confrontational squabble with Cheyenne, Leaf bolted away from the burrow with her tail hug low. She hoped that Cheyenne had got the agression out of her system and that the others would get to stay in the group. If she evicted Faeya and Tisca then there wouldn't be any lactating females left to feed the young pups in the burrow. Depressed at the thought, Leaf hid under a bush and placed her head against the sand..I'm a terrible mother

Cheyenne stopped, satisfied. She would let Leaf back in if she wasn't such pain.


Chris sighs. Cheyenne's hormones are acting up.

Pamela watches Leaf leave, not knowing what to think.

Cheyenne will leave the rest of the group alone for now.

Faeya, shocked, walked over to Tisca and Nimbus. While Cheyenne wasn't looking, she walked over to Leaf and began to groom her. Evictions, and all before breakfast. She groomed Leaf, and then returned to the group.

Chris padded over to the females and explained to them that Cheyenne was pregnant and would calm down.

Badru woke up, bored. (I wish I could DO something.)

Cheyenne led the group to go foraging, not knowing she was heading close to Morning Glory...

Splash perks up. She heard something, and starts to panic.

ooc: I take it they are going to join up today?

bic: Tisca growled to herslef, sinking her claws into the ground. Leaf's eviction had been her fault. But as much as she wanted to run off with her friend, she knew she had to stay, and look after her pups.
Cloud Catcher sprinted over to Splash, chrring worriedly.

Pamela follows, wanting to find breakfast.

Leaf accepted the comforting grooming from Faeya and watched her return to the group. Smiling that the rest of the group were looking to stay together, she got up from under the bush shook down her fur and watched Cheyenne lead the group out to forage. Where was she going?

Startled by Splash’s display of panic, Morning Glory called for the pups to hide and stood on her hind legs searching for the source of the danger. Looking up, no sign of an eagle nor a snake. Concerned she looked to Stratus. What had startled Splash?

Sander’s chrr’d in the hole, content but getting bored. Four days was a long time without any playmates.

Cheyenne sees a group on the horizon and begins a war-dance.

Splash panics, seeing the wardance. Bad memories! She can scent the meerkat that hurt her before. She tries the run to the burrow, but stumbles and falls.

Spotting the group of 6 meerkats war dancing towards them in the near distance, Morning Glory jumped down from her post and picked up the fallen Splash. The hole wasn’t big enough for the whole group to fit into it so as carefully as she could placed the youngster by the hole mouth and returned to Stratus’s side. There wasn’t much of a choice, they were heavily outnumbered at 3 to 1 and it wasn’t fair to leave the pups behind. They ’d have to go down fighting together.

Splash shivered and limped further into the burrow, then looked around for Cloud Catcher.

Cheyenne leads the group straight at the other meerkats.


Chris backs up his mate.

Sensing Splash, Sanders skipped over and began very gently pawing at her tail. Play?

Cheyenne looks back and chirps to Leaf. Please come back to the group, I'm sorry I evicted you.

Leaf lags behind, not trusting Cheyenne’s call. It might be better for everyone if she stayed out of the new dominants hair. Seeing the group wardance, Leaf stood on her hind legs and tried to find out what the problem was? Willows...Midnights?? Could it be??...

Splash, although very frightened, can't help but smile at Sanders and bats at him playfully.

Cheyenne looked at Leaf with pleading eyes.

Feeling the air rush past his fur from Splash’s swat, Sanders squeaks with excitement and wobbles on his tiny legs as he raises his front paws in the air.

Leaf raises her nose in the air, humoured by Cheyenne’s pleading look You can fight this one alone, Bye
Dropping to the floor at the sight of two lone meerkats, Leaf skitted back in the direction of the burrow. Her pups were more important then another battle with the neighbours.

Cheyenne snorted and charged towards the group.

Splash chuckled and nipped the young pup playfully. She hadn't been like this in ages.
