Roleplay - 19th September

Cheyenne leads the charge.

Back at the burrow, Glade is below ground with the babysitters, hoping the adults above are scaring the predator away.

At the foraging party, Buckeye accepts the new help and leads the charge against the splinter group. The Willows were much larger; their mere size should intimadate the small gang.

Jackie charges, bearing her teeth and growling.

Snowflake despite his goofy and friendly behavior is serious in the face of trouble and charges, hissing.

Maylene and the rover(Iron Wood) also begin to charge and and are on either side of Buckeye.

Tuck charges, he wouldn't loose Clover!

Clover stays put.

Sidorak dashes out quickly.

Concerned, Leaf stood to her feet beside Clover..This was one family member she wouldn’t lose in a fight a second time around. Seeing Cheyenne charge, she chirped..What is she thinking?

Dusk stood on his hind legs and waited for Lithium to make his move before following Cheyenne.

Underground, Josephine opened her eyes and watched as Lancaster hobbled out of the chamber. Anxious that he was leaving her behind, she tried to call out to him but he was out of ear shot.

Buckeye aimed for Cheyenne. She smelled foregin scent. This couldn't be her missing Willows. She continued the charge.

Glade went below and chirped to Josephine. Are you okay?

Hearing the young pup, Josephine turned her head and softly chirped back..It’s still sore and I can’t really feel my paw but I have to stay strong, you don’t need to worry. Watching the inquisitive sparkle in Glade’s eyes she continued with a peep I’m sorry if you are still afraid of me.

Tank charges the splinter group. He kicks up his hind legs in a formidable wardance making his large size look even more intimidating.

Back at the burrow, Lancaster makes his way toward the burrow exit to take Tank's place in looking out for danger. He doesnt hear Josephine calling for him. He smiles and nuzzles Glade as she padded by. Lancaster appears above ground and stays near the mouth of the burrow standing gaurd.

Worried about Lancaster, Josephine tried to stand and leant herself against the wall of the burrow. She’d have to try and make her way out..Maybe actually being on duty would keep her awake.
Chirping a soft goodbye to Glade, she slowly made her way towards the surface.

Oblivious to Josephine making her way to the burrow entrance/exit, Lancaster tries to stay strong ignoring the throbbing pain in his thigh. He's determined to keep watch over the pups and josephine even in his weakened condition.

Struggling on her chest, Josephine made it up the slope and sniffed the afternoon air. Pulling herself up onto the sand, she chirped and looked around.
Spotting Lancaster sat on sentry duty, she smiled beaming to herself and shuffled over to him.

Jackie snarls, going for the nearest meerkat.

Snowflake follows Jackie.

Lancaster notices Josephine and peeps surprised to see her above ground and is worried about her moving around so much but welcomes her presence and leans against her smiling. If he could blush, he'd be blushing right now.

Buckeye lunges at Cheyenne and knocks her off course. She rallies her troops and begins to chase the splinter further away.

Glade peeps and runs back firther into the burrow, looking for playmates, unaware that her mother is actually driving away members of her family.

Josephine chirped and propped herself against Lancaster I didn’t want you to be alone, not in your condition..and besides two pairs of eyes are better than one. Smiling, she watched a pair of vultures fly over head in out into the distance.

Tank runs along side Buckeye still wardancing after the splinter group. He snarls as he advances closer to the retreating splinter group.

Lancaster nods and chrrs softly(I'll be fine it's you I'm worried about but it's true that 2 eyes are better than one. Thank you for coming to help me) He smiles back at Josephine and nuzzles her then watches the vulture in the distance.

Maylene was also advancing towards the splinter group and it was also clear to Tank and herself that had a thing going on with each other.

Josephine chirr’d back smiling even though the pain was coursing through her body.

Tank glances and smiles at Maylene as she runs along side if him. He too knows that they have a thing for each other.

Lancaster lays his head on Josephine's shoulder feeling a bit weak but stays on alert. Butterflies fill his stomach as he spends more time with Josephine and he lets out a dreamy sigh.

malene then stops so Buckeye & Keeko can get ahead and lead the charge as they are indeed the leaders of the Willows.

Tank slows down his charge to allow Buckeye and Keeko to take the lead. He then stops to quickly scan the area for danger then returns to wardancing the splinter group.

Maylene had resumed her charge towards the splinter group but was stranely slower this time.

As the splinter group retreated, Buckeye stooped the charge. She watched as the individuals sprinted across the desert. She chirped to everyone, and led them toward a new foraging area, hoping to find the missing Willows there.
