Roleplay - 19th September

Tank begins grooming Maylene's neck and waits for when she's ready to mate but suddenly hears the alarm call as well. Having gotten so close to striking it lucky with Maylene he frowns as he watched her take off in to the bushes but smiles thinking about the possiblilty of her heading off to find the rest of the group. He hopes that she's allowed to stay. He's gotten to like this female alot and has forgotten about falling for Josephine.

Maylene had now a better chance of joining since she had left Tank to be alone. She lays low but moves forward a little and is making some submissive calls t=and it was clear she wanted to join.

Keeko spots Maylene. She is being submissive, but it is up to Buckeye whether she is allowed in or not.

Maylene then stops a few feet in front of Keeko & Buckeye and still lets her submissive calls out as she was desperate.

Oblivious to his brother's roving ambitions, Lancaster is sitting by the mouth of the burrow making sure Glade doesnt wander too far from the burrow. He's still a bit agitated that his brother isnt back. He growls about being left here alone, injured to watch over the pups. What if a predator or a rival group decide to make a visit?! Lancaster knows he couldnt handle those situations alone in his condition. After that unexpected visit by Ninja, Lancaster has been left on edge. He sighs hoping Tank will return to the burrow soon.

Golly Gosh is deep below ground, unaware of Lancasters Nerves.

Maylene then moved forward a little more until she was just a mere foot away from Buckeye. She then begins to submissively groom Buckeye, trying to gain her trust and join the mob.

Buckeye stares at Maylene and accepts the friendly grooming. She then returns it, and with a small chin-tap, she accepted the new female. She had led the group back to their burrow for a mid-day rest, and was eager to feed the pups. She chirped and groomed Tank and Lancaster, thanking them for their services. She picked up Glade and led the way below. She was eager to get back out there to find the missing Willows, even though they were only several yards away.

Maylene then unnoticed by the whole group(except Tank) moved behind some bushes and then she makes a small call for Tank to come over to her.

ooc: Tank is away from the burrow.

Seeing the group returning to the burrow for a mid day rest Lancaster sighs in relief ready to hand over the babysitting job to someone else. All he wants to do is sleep off the infection that's still sweeping through his system. Lancaster chirps to Buckeye glad that he could help out the group with looking after the pups. Meanwhile Tank is slowly begining to make his way back to the burrow feeling too lazy to head out to cause mischief at another group. Maybe later he'll go roving. Suddenly he hears a meerkat calling to him and spots Maylene in some nearby bushes. She's back! Has she been accepted into the group? Tank bounds over to her and grooms her tenderly.

Maylene then put her paws back on Tank's side and began to groom his head once more. Then she moved down to his neck and groomed Tank passionately.

Tank continues to groom Maylene back and waits for when she's ready to mate.

Maylene then lowers herself a little and lets a small call out to Tank letting him she was ready.

Tank smiles and leads her into a bolthole nearby where they wont be disturbed.

Maylene follows and sticks close to Tank and she lowers herself a little in front of the bolt hole entrance and chirped to Tank.

Tank chirps back to Maylene and they mate. After mating Tank grooms Maylene tenderly. Unfortunately their tryst may not go very well with Buckeye if she catches them returning to the group but if the mating was successful Maylene could already be pregnant with his pups.

Maylene grooms Tank back befor eletting him know she must go back. She begins to rub the scent of Tank off while heading above ground. Then she sneaks her way back into the group and heads below ground. Little did Buckeye, Keeko, Tank, & Maylene know, Tank was successful in his mating and she would indeed be pregnant.

ooc: will the litter survive? If so, then can I adopt one?

ooc- yes and I'll put an adoption thread up once Buckeye has found out Maylene is pregnant.

ooc: I'd like one as well...

ooc- ok then I'll post one sooner than that, and as for ID's I'll fill that out later

ooc: Can I adopt a pup too?

Tank nods. He should also be heading back too. He suddenly remebered that he had left his injured brother alone at the burrow to watch the pups. Lancaster wont be very happy with him when he returns. Tank sighs at the thought of his brother scawling at him then makes his way back to the burrow.

Jackie is unaware of Tank and Maylene and stands sentry.

Snowflake sits by Jackie.

Maylene goes over to some pups and begins to groom them a little as she's cleverly hiding the fact that she and Tank had just mated not that long ago.

Tired and exhausted, Josephine made it back to her territory that was a small bolthole and scent marked a nearby sticking out twig. Thinking that it was too early to retire, she climbed the same dry bush that the twig used to belong too and sat on sentry duty.
Only a few feet away a cape cobra lay coiled in the depths of Josephine’s bolthole hissing softy to itself.
