Roleplay-10th of July 2009

Mae was the first up, and after a quick check for predators, she stood facing the sun, trying to warm herself. There was a slight swell in Mae's stomach, and it became clear that she and Click were expecting pups.

Lithium emerged, keeping to himself while scanning the area. He looked toward Mae, and saw that she was pregnant. That was a good thing for their mob - he sighed softly, and began to groom himself.

Dawn bounds out of the burrow, full of energy...She looks at Mae's stomach and realizes that Mae is going to have pups, she chirps excitedly...

Dusk soon emerges, more sober than his sister and yawns...he watches out for dangers.

Click emerges, and immeadiately goes over to Mae. He chirps happily and begins to groom her.

Lithium begins to groom himself, waiting to go foraging. He glances at Click and Mae with a sigh, remembering his own mate who died.

Mae saw Lithium, and chirped, before taking the group out foraging. Click followed, making sure everyone kept up. When they reached the foraging spot, he became the first sentry.

Lithium followed and hungrily began to dog, looking for something to eat.

Mae hungrily ate a scorpion, and quickly moved on. Click kept a careful eye out, when he spotted movement in the distance. He warned the group, tried not to get them too worried.

Lithium glanced at Click then looked up, seeing for himself. He eyed the group, curious but also wary.

The group came closer, and Click got more agitated. Soon, he picked up their scent, but it wasn't one he recognised. They must be one of the wild groups.

Inle emerges. As usual, his face shows no emotions, and it's a little creepy...

Mae, seeing one of the wild groups, runs over to the burrow where Inle was, and pushed him inside.

Lithium growls softly, watching the other group.

The group moved forward, to get a closer look at the new mob. The dominant female stopped her mob, not wanting to get too close. Click growled and began a war dance. Mae ran over and joined him, and she called to the others to join in.

Dawn and Dusk run forward. Dawn's face shows some of her fear of fighting while Dusk is excitedly flexing his claws into the sand.

The Wild group begin their charge. They met with the Twilights head on. Click charged after the dominant male from the group.

Dusk runs forward, attacking the first male he runs into and bites the male multiple times before the male runs off. Dawn runs forward as well, but more timidly and is attack by a male, she squeals loudly and tries to protect herself. Dusk hears his sister and rams into her attacker, no one hurts his sister on his watch. He savagely claws and bites the attacker until that male runs off as well. Dawn chirps gratefully at her brother and eyes the fight fearfully, she is worried about Mae's unborn litter of pups. Dusk barks for Dawn to get back from the fighting and with a smirk, runs back into the fray.

Click leaped onto the dominant male and the two went rolling in the sand. Click bit him, and he squirmed under Click. Without warning, he leapt upwards and knocked Click over, pinning him to the floor. Mae ran over to defend her mate, but the male turned on her and swiped her across the face. She screeched and retreated, not willing to take him on.

Dawn shrieks when she sees Click get pinned and Mae get scratched. She is worried. Dusk rolls his eyes but rams the DM of the wild group off of Click and growls. He is having a good time, fighting this mob. As he flexes his claws into the sand, he is jumped by another member of the wild mob, he growls and begins fighting with his new opponent.

Click chirps his thanks to Dusk and snarled at the new attacker. He sunk his claws into his skin, and chased him off. Mae, however had retreated to the back of the group, unwilling to get into a fight.

ooc: How big is this wild group? Dusk chased off three so far (2 that attacked him, and 1 that went after Dawn)...Click just chased 1 away...so far that is 4...I just want to know approx. how many are left, lol

bic: Dusk nods quickly to Click and bites his opponent in the shoulder hard while shoving him to the side. The wild meerkat shrieks and runs off to join the rest that have retreated. Dusk, by now has many scratches and bite marks but nothing serious, he looks around for the rest of the wild mob.

Dawn sits by Mae, frightened as she watches her brother and Click fight. They seem to be doing well but she is still very frightened that they will get hurt.

Well, they are bit bigger than the Twilights, so maybe around 8-10?

Mae pressed agianst Dawn, very frightened. Click snarled at another meerkat, and bit into it's shoulder.

Dusk is tackled by two more of the wild meerkats, he scratches one with his back legs and bites into the other's torso. Both wild members jump in pain and surprise, allowing Dusk time to jump up and lunge at one of them, biting the back of her neck savagely, she soon yips and runs off as the second attacks him again. Dusk, pinned smirks up at his opponent. He kicks up his back legs, pushing the other meerkat off of him. and lunges at him.

ooc: Ok, thats 5 gone. 1 fighting Dusk and 1 fighting Click (when those two are gone that leaves 1 left)

There were only three meerkats left. Click had been cornered against a tree, but Mae summed up the courage and tackled one to the floor. Click quickly chased off his attacker, before joining Mae. It wasn't long before they chased off that meerkat aswell.

Dusk sees the other two run off from the corner of his eye and smirks at his opponent, he is the only one left of his mob here. He fake lunges at the meerkat, who runs off out of fear of being outnumbered now. Dusk smirks and goes to Dawn to make sure his sister is alright. She chrrs that she is fine, not a scratch on her and nuzzles her brother thankfully. She knows she has to become stronger and braver to survive.
