Roleplay - 29th of September

Peachy checks the tall grass and nearby bushes for any sign of Sassy, so far nothing.

Alfonso tumbles backwards and starts chewing on his back feet wanting to play.

Spunky finally spotted Sassy in her hiding place under a bush. She sighed with relief and ran over to her sister.

Peachy checks the bush that Sassy is in and spots her. Seeing that she's safe and sound, Peachy sighs, relieved.

Alfonso gets up and bounds after a butterfly then leaps up to try to catch it but fails.

Sassy rolled her eyes. Whatever.

Lewa had narrowly dodged the hawk... He knows they're a danger now. He still wishes he could fly... XD

Faith sits and scans the area for any other threats that may be lurking.

Peachy goes back to standing gaurd. After that surprise attack from the tawny eagle, the group are going to have to stay more alert for any other possible danger that may try to surprise them.

Alfonso bounds over to Lewa and gently tackles him, knocking him down.

Streak alerts the group. With a hawk in the territory, they needed to move and find a new home. And fast. The Zippers could be a easy target for future predators.

Peachy hears Streak's alert call to move to a new burrow. She looks off into the distance, then at the sky, now feeling paranoid. Finding a new home sounds like a great idea about now. It appears the Zippers other burrow is becoming a target for predators.

Alfonso gently nibbles on Lewa's ear, then is distracted by Streak's alert call. He bounds over to his mother. The close call with the tawny eagle has stirred quite a scare amongst the group.

Once Angel managed to get Bruno out of the bolt-hole, the two ran over to Running Star, looking around fearfully.
Jack watches the skies, looking for more birds.

Peachy scans the skies, paranoid by the thought that another bird of prey may be close by waiting for the oppertunity to strike.

Alfonso stays close to his mother and looks around nervously.

Pepper calls loudly, knowing he was lost.

Peachy hears Pepper's call in the distance and looks around trying to spot the missing meerkat.

Alfonso also hears the call and looks around curiously.

Faith starts to call out to Pepper.

Pepper follows the calls, but he's been wounded from a fall while trying to run, he slowly limps back towards the burrow.

Faith runs over to Pepper to see if he's okay.

Peachy spots Pepper and bobs her head worrily seeing that he's injured. She bounds over to him and inspects his injured leg.

Alfonso sees Pepper returning to the group injured and eyes him curiously wondering what happened.

Flurry and STreak run over, trying to guide Pepper to safety.

Pepper makes it back to the burrow, but he can't go much farther.

Peachy sits next to Pepper and begins to groom his injured leg, hoping to help soothe the pain.

Alfonso glances at Pepper with worried eyes as he picks up on the adults' emotions that there's something wrong. He notices Pepper's injured leg and, instinctively, lays beside him providing him some comfort.

Running Star chirped, worried.

Faith decides to groom Pepper's head, hoping it'll comfort him.

Peachy moves her grooming up to Pepper's thigh.

Alfonso leans against Pepper and looks up at him with concerned wide eyes.

Pepper peeps back to Running Star. he knows he won't die, but he doesn't know if he can ever walk on it again.

ooc: Were we still going to go through with the idea of them having a litter before Dominic returns? I liked the idea. XD I think Running Star likes Pepper a little better, not sure yet.

Peachy stares at Pepper's leg in concern. His injuries look severe and there could be a possiblilty that he may not be able to use the leg ever again which could leave him vulnerable to a predator during a predator alarm.

Alfonso chirps worrily.
