Roleplay - 5th of October

Luna lunged at the babysitter, her fangs bared and eyes filled with hate.

Linda didn't feel safe where she was alone. She moves over to the entrance of the burrow and gets back to sentry duty, looking for the rival mob they were expecting, as well as that rover. She didn't want that rover to get any of them pregnant, or harm the pups.

Rouding the corner, Buckeye also spts the baysitter and begins to bite at her. Hutch round the corner and tries to squeeze past the babysitter to get to the pups.

Tank snarls as he sees the silhouetted figure of the babysitter in the darkness. He tries to squeeze past Jackie and the other Willows hungry for blood shed.

The babysitter stands protectively and firmly in front of the pups. She slashes and bites at the Willows as they press closer to her and the pups, throwing what ever she has at them with all her strength. She tries to dodge their assaults but with the burrow walls too narrow for her move out of the path of their attacks, she ends up getting battered. She fights back furiously but knows she doesn't stand a chance as she is out numbered.

Linda hears the battle going on below ground, confident that they will be victorious with few injuries. She knows no mob will give up on their burrow filled with pups, so she expected them to come any minute.

ooc- The Willows will still have foraging time, right? All the other groups are already out.

Tank pushes into Jackie again desperate to get to the pups and kill!

Covered in gash and slash and bite wounds from her muzzle to her shoulders, the babysitter is begining to show signs of exhaustion but keeps fighting for her and the pups' lives.

On the other side of Willow's territory, things are looking grim for Lancaster and Josephine as the ruthless meerkat gang bare down on them and they're showing no sign of giving up chase. Lead by the scar faced dominant female, the vicious meerkats wardance in a scattered formation as they try to catch the exhausted meerkat couple. The dominant male comes close enough to lunge at Lancaster but Lancaster is more agile than the older male meerkat and makes a sharp right to dodge the large male's assault. As he misses the dominant male crashes to the ground but the vicious group continue their war path. The dominant female slashes at Josephine's legs trying to once again trip her up. She succeeds in leaving her a small slash wound on her leg but it fails to slow Josephine down.

As things were looking hopeless for him and Josephine, Lancaster spots a glimmer of hope in the distance, a patch of dense tall grass that continues on for miles. A risk at the best of times and unsure of where it could lead them, Lancaster sees it as a chance to escape the murderous meerkat group's war path. He barks to Josephine optomistic that they're going to make it.

Josephine glances at Lancaster frightened for their lives but smiles believing disappearing into the tall grass might just help them lose the vicious meerkat group. She nods also feeling optomistic about their survival.

Lancaster and Josephine vanish into the sea of tall grass causing the vicious meerkat group to come to a stop. The dominant female growls, angry that they were able to get away. She barks to her group. They're going in after them! But after carefully and closely scanning the sea of tall grass, she decides against it. Going in the tall grass sea of known could put the group at risk of splitting and losing members and seeing the grass blowing in the wind is making it difficult for the group to dicifer which movements could be from Lancaster and Josephine or from the wind. The dominant female glances around growling in frustration. Lucky fools! But we'll see just much their luck holds as they wonder deeper into the dangers of the sea of tall grass. It's crawling with deadly predators where they're going. The dominant female has been in that section of the Kalahari before, the sea of tall grass eventually leads to an open area but it's dangerous. It's frequented by jackals, birds of prey and cape cobras and it's where she's recieved some of her scars. Not wanting to risk following the meerkat couple into that deadly section of the Kalahari, the dominant female makes lead calls. They've spent too much time chasing off Lancaster and Josephine and away from their pup filled burrow. If they don't get home fast the Willows could strike seeing that the pups are gaurded by 2 very weak babysitters. As the vicious group head for home, they're tragically unaware of the babysitters' and pups' fight for survival at their main burrow.

Linda looks around the horizon anxiously. She knew that when they come they'll need to work their hardest to defeat them. She was on sentry to make sure they didn't sneak up on them.

Unaware that the hunters could soon become the hunted, Tank squeezes half his body passed Jackie but because the tunnel can only fit meerkats in at a single file line, he becomes squished between the burrow wall and jackie and it starts to put pressure on his and Jackie's chest. But still determined to get to the pups, he continues to try to squeeze himself to the front. He snarls and tries to slash at the babysitter but can't because his front limbs are pinned against Jackie and the burrow wall.

The babysitter counters Hutch and Buckeye's bites and slashes with her own. Despite getting more exhausted the harder she fights, she's determined to fight to the death.

Not far from the raided burrow, the vicious group have come across a letrain left by the Willows. The dominant female and dominant male sniff the Willows scent thoroughly. Yup they were deffinately here. The dominant female sniffs at the air and can smell that the Willows scent is still strong. They must be around here some where, some where very close. Suddenly the dominant female's fear that the Willows might have found their babysitting burrow starts to become a reality. She's picked up the Willow's scent and it seems to be leading them in the path of the babysitting burrow. Realizing that their pups and babysitters may be in real danger, the group races in the direction of the burrow hoping to get there in time.

ooc- I'll have Linda spot them. Just tell me when they get close enough.

ooc: Ok sounds good to me

Tank pushes to get to the front but as he is squeezed against Jackie he can advance no further. He has to just work with what he can do. He bites and barks at the babysitter threatening to kill if he's able to grab hold of her.

The babysitter continues to bite and slash at the front line meerkats. She chatters angrily refusing to go down.

Time is starting to run out for the raiding Willow's as the vicious group of meerkats is now less than half a mile away from their babysitting burrow.The dominant female is charging ahead of her group snarling angrily. if the Willows have found their burrow and harmed the pups she won't hesistate to kill every last one of them. She's just getting over losing a previous litter and isn't about to lose another.

Linda looks around. She knew it deep inside her they were close. She didn't want this raid to turn into a distaster.

Jackie grumbles and wriggles out from Tank's pressure from there she growls and spits at the babysitter.

Snowflake also spits at the babysitter.

The babysitter hisses, spits and bites at Jackie and Snowflake but no matter how much she tries to keep the raiding Willows at bay, they just seem to be getting closer and closer to her and the pups. The frightened pups huddle together whimpering as they watch helplessly as their protector fights for her life and theirs. She'll just have to hope for the return of her group but time is running out. The babysitter can only take so much and is starting to give in to her exhaustion.

Tank gets pushed back as jackie pushes her way out of his pressure. He spits at the babysitter from behind the front line meerkats.

Not far from the burrow, the vicious wild meerkat group can smell the Willow's scent intensifying as they get closer to home. The dominant female's heart sinks. They might already be too late.

ic- Linda looks around across the horizon, checking for any changes in the surroundings. The others better hurry up and finish off the rivals underground. An attack while they try to come ou could be costly.

Using all the strength she has left the babysitter slashes at the front line meerkats in a swift frenzy. She hopes this is enough too keep them back but it won't be for long. The babysitter and pups will have to hope for a meracle to save them.

Tank tries to crawl over the front line meerkats and slashes at the babysitter but he's several inches away from them to cause harm.

ooc: I was gonna wait until the babysitter and 2 of the pups have been killed before the rest of the group appears. But I geuss they can appear now. The raid is kinda going on too longXD While the Willows fight the wild group, some of the raiders will stay below and kill the babysitter and pups.

As the wild group come to a brow of a dune, they see their home being raided by the Willows. The dominant female was right, they are too late. The dominant female stands there horrofied as she sees that the Willows have already infiltrated the burrow. Her emotions suddenly turn to livid and hate. She's watching her pups being killed right in front her eyes and it makes her furious. She won't stand to lose another litter, not now, not when their group numbers are at stake. Angry and thirsty for blood, the group fiddle on their 4 legs growling, poised to charge as soon as their fierce female leader gives the war call. the dominant male also looks down as the group's home is being raided. He can hardly believe what he sees. The groups next generation that he fathered is being wiped out. He feels helpless as he watches next to his mate's side. But maybe they're not too late. What if they haven't gotten to the pups yet? The dominant male barks to his mate. It's time to hit the Willows HARD while their distracted maybe it'll throw them off course from killing the pups. Soon the tables shall be turned. The dominant female glances at her mate then turns her angry scarred face back at the raiding Willows. They shall take no prisoners in this war. She'll make sure that no Willow will leave this war alive. She jerks her body foward signaling her troops to attack. The group pours down the dune in a feirce wardance toward the Willows.

Leon looked to his left and saw the mob coming down the dune, he barked an alarm to the others.

Tank's ears perk up as he hears the faint sound of an alarm call over the growling raiders and babysitter. He takes one last evil glance at the babysitter before heading above ground to see what the alarm was about.

The babysitter finally gives in to her exhaustion and collapses to the ground, too weak to continue on fighting. She lets out a weak whimper. She had failed the pups but if the Willows don't get a chance to get to the pups she knows her death won't be vane. As they saw their protector collapse to the burrow floor, the pups squeal in fear and start to cry out for someone to come to their rescue.

The angry meerkat mob close in on the Willows. The dominant female locks her eyes on Buckeye. If she can over throw the Willows matriarch dominant then her group will have no problem overpowering the rest of the group. The dominant male snarls furiously. He doesn't care who to pick, the first meerkat he meets will suffer his brutal wrath. The rest of the group spread out as they wardance to choose their opponents.

Linda had already seen them charging and gave the alarm before Leon. She continues giving the alarm and barks into the burrow entrance, warning the others. She sees the size of the mob and hopes they will win. She then rushes back to Verneice and the pups. She'll help her handle the pups and keep them safe.

Tank half exits the burrow and sees the cause for alarm. The wild group who had claimed this burrow are home and they don't look very happy. Tank wardances out of the burrow ready for war.

Seeing Tank the dominant male locks his eyes on him. He was just the perfect size to prove to be a worthy opponent for him. The dominant male snarls as he closes in on Tank. He'll make sure HE'S the one who will rise as the victor. The dominant female chatters angrily as she charges for Buckeye. Some of the subordiantes charge for their subordinate Willow opponents who are keeping a look out while the other wild group subordinates target the Willows raiding the burrow.

The babysitter has sustained lifthreatening injuries and struggles to fight back as the raiding Willows bare down on her mercilessly.

Leon wardanced with Tank, they weren't giving up this land without a fight.

Linda sees the rival mob advance towards them, ready for battle. She hoped none of them noticed the pups with Verneice and herself out of the battle. If they were noticed, they'll have to fight the attackers off. She turns and barks to the pups, telling them to stay where they were.

Tank lunges at the wild group's large dominant male and slams into him clamping down HARD on his shoulder. He topples the dominant male onto his back and thrashes around tearing at his shoulder.

The dominant male squeals in pain but retaliates by kicking hard with his back legs into Tank's stomach.

The dominant female prepares to lunge at Buckeye.

The rest of the wild group spread out and charge at their chosen Willows subordinates. Luckily none of them have noticed the gaurded Willows pups.

Linda watches as the battle unfolds and Willows clash with the rivals. She was relieved they weren't noticed. She still checks on the pups to make sure they haven't wondered off and the rival mob to make sure they weren't detected, just to be sure.

Tank is knocked off the large dominant by the forceful kick and crashes to the ground on his back. He lays there stunned and winded. He struggles to catch his breath.

The dominant male leaps back onto his feet. Seeing Tank stunned and laying on the ground he lunges at him snarling and thirsty for blood.

Tank quickly lunges forward and their jaws meet biting furiously trying to see who can get a hold of who first. Tank slashes at the dominant male leaving deep claw wounds across his face. He quickly slashes at him again but misses as the dominant backs out of Tank's reach. Tank lunges and sinks his teeth into the side of the dominant male's neck. He thrashes, violently tearing flesh.

Leon rushed to help Tank, he jumped onto the dominant's back and while Tank was biting the front of the dominant male's throat, Leon got a hold of the back of the neck, together was a deadly combination.
