Roleplay - 5th of October

As he sees the Willows charging further down the sand dune, Ninja quietly and quickly slinks to another bush hoping it'll help him get a better look at the Willow females.

Below ground, the babysitter continues to comfort the pups and hopes for the return of her group but will they return home in time?

Linda sits down to groom herself. Prehaps the calls from the babysitter fell into deaf ears. The babysitter escaped, though, so they were likely going to warn the others. She expected the mob to come in the direction the babysitter left. She stands back up and looks in that direction.

Luna charges with Bukceye, veins pulsing with adrenaline.

Unaware of the peril unfolding on their babysitters and pups, the vicious wild group has come across one of the Willow's burrows. Some of the goup members sniff around the outside while the dominant couple and some of the bravest members of the group mob and storm the burrow to search out and kill any Willow they may come across. As they search through every tunnel they only get a faint scent of the Willows and no sign of it being an active burrow. The dominant female calls for her troops to pull back and she leads them out of the burrow and they continue their advance into Willows territory. They are on a collision course with Lancaster and Josephine.

Lancaster can smell the scent of the wild group getting stronger and starts to become panic striken. He scans the area frantically but sees nothing. Not wanting to stick around any longer he leads Josephine in the direction they came from, hoping they don't end up getting caught off gaurd or have a run in with the wild group.

Josephine follows close behind Lancaster. She can sense his anxiety and glances over her shoulder nervously, keeping an eye out for this mystery group.

Linda keeps a keen eye open for the rest of the mob she was expecting to come. She looks back to see if the pups were all right and begins looking around in the vegitation just in case there was anyone hiding.

Suddenly things take a dangerous turn for Lancaster and Josephine. The dominant female steps onto a spot that has their scent. She stands on her hind legs and can smell their Willow scent in the air. An evil grin spreads across her scarred face. If they can sniff out the 2 Willows and anhilate as much of the competition as possible they could increase their chances of over powering the main Willows group in a battle and steal their land. The dominant female lets out a war bark and marches her troops foward.

Lancaster picks up his pace anxious to get back to the safty of the main burrow.

Josephine realizes they're walking out in the open and stays vigilant knowing that they're in danger of being spotted by either a predator or the ruthless wild group.

Jackie charges with Buckeye.

Snowflake also charges.

The dominant female leads her group out into the open hoping she'll be able to spot the 2 doomed Willows members. She sniffs at the air as the rest of the group members rise on their hind legs and scan the horizon for any sign of Lancaster and Josephine. The dominant female can smell that their Willows scent has gotten stronger and knows they're around here somewhere close. She stand up on her hind legs and spots them trotting over a patch of small dried grass. She smirks evily and barks alerting her group. The dominant male and the rest of the group hear the alert and become aware of Lancaster and Josephine. They erect their tails fiddle on their hind legs and growl ready to kill. The dominant female sounds the war bark and wardances towards the meerkat couple. Her group follows in a fierce wardance and show that they mean serious buisness. There will be no mercy here. They're dead as soon as a ruthless group member lays a claw on them.

Hearing the growls, Lancaster glances off to his left and spots the vicious meerkat group storming towards them. He screeches in alert and barks to Josephine that they must run, FAST and NOW!

Josephine whimpers hearing Lancaster's alert knowing that they've been spotted. She sees the group charging at them and screeches. She takes off ahead of Lancaster running for her life as fast as she could.

ooc- Are they close enough to be seen by the Willows yet?

ic- While the rest were busy mobbing the burrow, Linda kept watch for anything dangerous to them.

ooc: Nope they're on the other side of the Willows territory. After chasing off Lancaster and Josephine they'll be returning home to their burrow.

The wild group is hot on the meerkat couples' tail. They intensify their wardance by kicking up their back legs higher in the air, keeping their tails raised and also use their back legs to forcfully spring themselves foward inching their way closer to the fleeing meerkat couple. As the ruthless meerkat group close in on Lancaster and Josephine, their chances of getting out of this perilous situation is looking more and more grim. The group's dominant female bolts ahead of her group and snaps at Josephine's back legs trying to trip her up but everytime she bites she misses. The group wardance Lancaster and Josephine towards the end of Willows' territory and they don't appear to want to give up.

Lancaster keeps running. He can feel the muscles in his legs burning but he can't stop now. If he does he and Josephine will be killed.

Josephine runs right beside Lancaster. Still recovering from he snake bite, she's still feeling a little weak and is begining to get exhausted but pushes herself to keep running. Her life depends on it.

ooc: When will the Willows and the Wild Mob fight?

Keeko runs up to the burrow where the wild mob was staying, and heads in, determined to chase out whoever was inside.
Crash gets to work at digging at the burrow mouth, to make it larger and easier for the group to swarm in.
Miley keeps a look out, in case the group returns.
Golly Gosh runs forwards and back excitedly, eager to be apart of the action.

Jackie starts digging at the burrow entrance.

Snowflake starts standing sentry.

Verniece runs up and grabs Golly Gosh, dragging him from the action. She barks at all the pups, ordering them to stay close to her.

Buckeye heads below ground too with Keeko. The scent of the wild group was everywhere. She scent-marks the burrow as she descends, reclaiming it as Willows' territory. Hutch followed Keeko and Buckeye below ground. They were going to excavate anyone who stood in their way.

ooc- I was going to have Linda spot the rival mob and warn everyone when they return.

ic- Linda uses all of her senses to make sure no one approached them without her knowing about it. She looks back to Verneice and the pups. If they do come, she'll help her with the pups. One meerkat can't keep the litter safe this close to the action.

Luna follows Keeko in his burrow raid, and even though she doesn't want to kill any pups, there needs to be someone to back him up incase there's a babysitter willing to fight inside.

Leon began to help digging out the burrow entrance.

With nothing to do, Megan ran back to Vernice and Golly Gosh.

Golly Gosh whines; he wanted to be near the action!

Jackie follows Buckeye and Keeko below ground.

Snowflake follows Jackie. She wasn't about to get a piece of the action without him.

Linda keeps watch as the others go below ground. They were doing good for now. She hoped the same outcome when the rest of the mob returns. With pups to protect, herself too weak to fight, and with Josephine and Lancaster no where to be seen, they weren't at full strength. She hoped Lancaster and Josephine were on their way, wherever they are.

Tank digs at the burrow entrance furiously, trying to help the group widen the entrance so they can storm the burrow en mass and over power the babysitter to wipe out the competition. After widening the burrow entrance enough for a handful of Willows to charge in, Tank follows Snowflake and Jackie into the burrow. His eyes, still use to the light, are met with pitch blackness. It's so dark that he can barely see what's in front of him and pushes into Jackie, impatient to get to the pups to do the bloody work. The scent of the wild group is overpowering as he advances into the burrow with the raiders but the sound of the crying pups increases in volume with each step he takes. He chatters maniacally not afraid to kill.

The babysitter can hear the pitter patter of the Willows feet through out the whole burrow and can hear them trying to dig their way in furiously above ground. The scent of the Willows reaches her nose sending a cold chill down her spine. She knows that they've managed to infiltrate the burrow and knows a deadly encounter will be enevidable. Ready to lay down her life, she gives the pups one last reassuring nuzzle then steps protectively in front of them ready to fight to the death.

With the Willows busy raiding the burrow, Ninja siezes this as his chance to try his luck with a female. Seeing Linda acting as a look out alone, he sees her as his first target and slinks quietly towards her through a patch of tall grass.

Megan sees Ninja and what Leon had taught her snapped into action, she sounded an alarm bark that someone was near.

Leon looked up, thinking Ninja was one of the wild group's males he wardanced toward him.

Realizing he's been spotted, Ninja vanishes into the tall grass. He had a feeling things wouldn't work well for him here and was prepared for it. With the raiding Willows being too vigilant, he decides to retreat for now but plans on returning later.

In the burrow, Tank presses into Jackie even harder as he struggles to make shapes in the darkness of the burrow tunnels. He tries to peer over the top of the raiding Willows' heads but with the darkness working against him, he can see nothing past Jackie's head. But he can hear the cries of the pups and they sound tantelisingly close.

The babysitter bares her teeth fluffs out her fur and flexes her claws. As soon as she spots the first Willow around the corner, it's war!

Jackie can feel Tank pressing into her. She ignores it and keeps walking. She then hears the babysitter and the pups and growls in response.

Snowflake is by Jackie and keeps walking.

Linda hears the alarm and looks around, just in time to see the lone male flee. He seemed rather close to her when he was spotted. She better pay more attention to the immediate area around them. A mob member scouting for them would never sneak so close alone. The male was a rover. A chill went down her spine as she thought about what would have happened had he not been spotted.
