Roleplay - 5th of October

Tank sits on his haunches and glances at Josephine and Lancaster. He sighs remembering how he and Maylene used be that affectionate but now she seems to ignore him alot. Maybe unlike his brother, he just doesn't have the charm that interests females. Tank rolls his eyes at himself admitting that he can be a little too serious around females and even a little offputtingly goofy. He puts on a flirtacious smile and pads over to Maylene nuzzling her as he walks by.

Lancaster glances around making sure no body is looking. With everyone distracted with wanting to fill their hungry tummies, he siezes the chance to slip away from the group. He churrs for Josephine to follow.

Linda grooms herself. If Josephine pulled through the snake bite, she could pull through the injury. She should be back to normal in a week.

Tank begins to groom Maylene tenderly hoping this first step in bringing out the charm between them works.

Lancaster pads a few steps forward then glances over his shoulder flicking his tail anxious to get the romantic walk started but waits patiently for Josephine to follow.

Unaware of the group interactions, Buckeye begins to lead the foragers out for the day, unaware she is leading them straight toward the rival group.

Leon followed Buckeye.

Megan stayed close by Leon.

Tank follows eager to pig out some moreXD

Lancaster watches as the group head out unaware of his and Josephine's romantic plans. He peeps with excitement and begins to lead Josephine away from the group.

Linda struggles to get up and goes up behind Buckeye. By the time they get there, she'll be far behind, so she better start up at front.

Tank scratches at the ground along the way but isn't haven't any luck finding anything.

Jackie follows eagerly.

Snowflake trots by Jackie.

Keeko leapt down from his post and follows alonside Buckeye.
Crash follows, occasionally stopping to search for food.

Luna walks along side Linda, prepared to give her a hand.

Linda was already starting to fall behind. She didn't want Luna to have stay with her, and chirped to her, trying to get her to join the others.

Buckeye took it slow, trying her best to keep the group together.

Glade followed close behind her mother, while Vernieice and Hutch took positions at the back of the party.

Tank notices Linda falling behind and slows his pace waiting patiently for her to catch up. If she falls too far behind and ends up alone, she'll be seen as an easy target for oppertunistic predators. He decides to walk beside her acting as a pretector from predators.

Lancaster waits patiently for Josephine to follow him out on their romantic walk.

Meanwhile, the roving male Mischka has caught up with the vicious wild group. They're still enjoying their little fiesta and are completely unaware that the persistant rover has returned. With few males on sentry duty approaching a female should be a bit more easier this time since the group has let down their gaurd. Mischka snickers and slinks into some tall grass that surrounds the large camel thorn tree. As he circles the group, he spots a female napping away from the protection of the group and silently makes his way towards her.

Back at the wild group's babysitting burrow, babysitter number 1 gathers up the courage to head above ground to see if the danger has passed. As she cautiously pokes her head out of the burrow, she sees no sign of the eagle and gives the other babysitter the all clear. Hearing the all clear babysitter number 2 calms down releasing her tight wrap around the pups and gets to grooming them reassuring them that everything is fine. Babysitter number 1 returns above ground and continues the task of keeping an eye out for danger now that things seems to have gotten back to tranquility.

But their tranquility is about to be disturbed once again. another rover has set his amourous gaise on this group's females this time at the babysitting burrow. Watching the babysitters with interest through a patch of tall grass nearby is the infamous stealthy rover, Ninja. He just happened to be passing by when the babysitters had caught his eye and seeing that there's no males preseant, he decided that this is an oppertunity he simply cannot miss. He's been on a lucky streak for the passed couple of weeks and hopes this roving trip will add to his list of roving success. But he is unknowingly roving at a burrow that belongs to the Willows and not the wild group and is unaware that he and the uninvited intruders could be caught by the real owners of the burrow at any moment that is if the wild group doesn't discover him snooping around first. He waits patiently for a chance to make a move.

Linda thanks Tank for helping her, but chirps to him, not wanting him to fall behind too. Even in a vulnerable and weakened state, she still wanted to be independent and protect herself.

Glancing one last look over her shoulder, Josephine chirped excitedly and hurried after Lancaster.

Lancaster nuzzles Josephine's muzzle and trots along side her, enjoying the time to be able to be alone with her. The sounds of birds and other animal noises that surround them give him a warm feeling inside. Unfortunately they are unaware that they are heading straight for the warpathed wild meerkat group.

At the foraging party, Tank glances around keeping a vigilant eye out for any predators that may turn their attention to the weakened Linda.

Linda continued to move on at a slower pace than everyone else until she was at the end of the chain, just as she predicted. She tries hard not to get any farther behind than she already is, knowing she'll be able to rest and eat when they arrive.

Josephine nuzzles Lancaster back. it was great that they finally found chance to be alone.

Lancaster scans the area for a romantic place where they can enjoy the scenery and spend some time bonding. But so far all he sees is open ground.

Seeing that there's no sign of predators Tank trots slightly a head of Linda but makes occassional glances over his shoulder to make sure she's keeping up.

Maylene wanted to go by Tank, but he was too precoccupied with watching over Linda so, she just foraged along the way.

Linda followed up at the back not getting too far behind the others. Sure if there were predators attacking she would most likely be their first target, but how often do they attack? She doesn't understand why Tank was stressing about her so much. She wasn't that worried.

Luna barked. She thought she smelled something...

Linda froze. She barks to Luna, asking what it was she smells. She hoped it wasn't the scent of a predator or a rival mob, and instead just some harmless creature roaming the desert.

Tank also picks up the strange scent and scans the area anxiously but sees nothing.

Lancaster spots a nice area for the meerkat couple to spend some time together, a nice patch of green grass under a camel thorn tree. He peeps to Josephine. It'll be the perfect spot to enjoy each other's company.

Josephine looks straight ahead and sees the nice spot Lancaster chose for them. She churrs in delight (It's fine with me just as long as I get to be with you) She nuzzles Lancaster and churrs sweetly.
