Roleplay - 10th of October

Verniece runs above ground, making sure that the last of the jackals were gone. She stoppe in her tracks and saw Buckeye and the rest of the Willows. She was submissive and frightened.

Seeing the effort the evictees and her group put into keeping the whole group safe, Buckeye decides to allow the subordinate evictees back into the group. She scent-marks them all and leads her group in the direction of the burrow.Although this might put her pups at risk, she had a feeling that things would ultiately turn out right.

Verniece followed the group, happy to once again to be part of the Willows. She made sure Buckeye's pups stayed close.

Linda grooms Buckeye, thanking her, and follows. She didn't expect her eviction to only last about half a day, but it was a good thing. She looks back to the still bodies of the jackals. It was for the sake of the pups and the mob.

Tank smiles happy with Buckeye's choice. He thinks she has made the right decision to allow them back into the group. They make a great asset to the Willows. Without them tragedy would've surely befallen the group. Tank follows, walking in a sore limp.

Lancaster churrs a cheer and bounds over to the evicted females. He nuzzles each of them happy to have them back in the safe fold of the large group. Lancaster pads over to Josephine and nuzzles her. He's glad to see her safe and sound. He follows behind his brother as the group make their way back to the burrow.

Megan looked back at the bodies of the jackals and sighed sadly, it didn't have to end that way, all the group had to do was mob them and they would have run off, she'd seen it before. She was wondering if this mob was starting to become just as unnessisarily brutal as the mobs they faught.

Linda follows the mob. She stays near Tank, who appeares to have injured his leg, and helps him move along. He helped her when she was recovering from her neck injury, and now she was returning the favor.

Tank kept his head straight ahead not bothering to look back. He could careless about the jackals' deaths. He only saw them as a serious threat that had to be exterminated. The only thoughts in his mind at the time during the battle were to protect Buckeye's pups and the group. If that ment killing something to do so, he wouldn't hesistate to fight to the death. Tank smiles thankfully at Linda for helping him. He remebers when he was there for her when she was suffering from her serious injuries recieved from the Midnight's vicious dominant female and now he's recieving her help this time.

Lancaster however is feeling sorrow for the jackal pup. With its parents dead, who will protect the little guy from predators? Jackals are predators but they too have enemies of their own they must protect themselves from. Lancaster sighs depressingly. He wishes he could do something for the little jackal pup that's out there somewhere all alone, scared and hungry.

Megan gave a short cold glare at Tank, if he hadn't rushed ahead and attacked them, no one would have gotten hurt or killed. The jackals would have run off with their pup and everything would have been better.

As she helps Tank move along, Linda thinks about what to do now. She should lay low until Buckeye's pups are born, and help out as much as possible. She might be carrying Ninja's litter, and she's going to need to stay on Buckeye's good side if the litter, or even herself for that matter, is to survive.

Tank catches Megan's glare in the corner of his eye and glances at her. He suddenly begins to think about the jackal pup and the fact that he started this whole battle. He loweres his head feeling guilty. If it wasn't for his violent outburst, the jackal pup would've still had a family. And he put everyone's life in danger including the pups'. He realizes that he let his anger get the best of him. He was only doing it to protect the group and Buckeye's unborn litter but he realizes that he had gone too far. It isn't like a meerkat to engage a war with a jackal. Most of the time the jackal wins for obvious reasons. If Tank happened to have faught the jackals alone, he most certainly would've been killed and he almost was even with the help of the whole Willows group. Tank sighs feeling ashamed.

Lancaster makes a quick glance at his brother then looks away. He's used to Tank making risky decisions but this time it's gone too far.

Linda starts feeling regrets as well. She was the one that killed the female jackal. Another reason for her to feel bad about herself right now. Mating, aiding a rover, and now killing a jackal mother, all in one day. At least the others didn't know about the mating part. She had helped the mob, though, only she's helped by orphaning a jackal pup. She keeps her regrets to herself and keeps moving.

Mercy fallows the mob. She walks over to Buckeye and acts submissive wanting to be accepted in to the mob.

Josephine sat next to Lancaster and sighed, she too felt the distress for the jackal pup. If it hadn't been for her need to try and be overhelpful she wouldn't have had to put the lives of the whole family at risk and that poor animal wouldn't have to now grow up alone.

Tank faces forward and keeps moving. He drowns out his guilty concious by thinking about Buckeye's pups. He wonders what their personalities will be when they're old enough to open their eyes and forage with the group.

Lancaster smiles at mercy. he hopes she'll be allowed into the group. Lancaster nuzzles Josephine under her chin. It wasn't her fault all of this happened. Tank was the one who started all the tragic chain of events and who put the lives of everyone involved in danger.

Mercy smiles at Lancaster and quietly chirps hello.

Josephine nuzzled Lancaster in return and looked up as she heard the call from Mercy. Thankfully it wasn't Buckeye otherwise she could just as well be evicted from the group as the others have been allowed back in.

Lancaster jerks at the chirp but calms down realizing that it was only mercy. He sighs relieved that he didn't get Josephine in trouble. He peeps a hello back to Mercy.

Tank glances at mercy and smiles. He introduces himself with a peep.

Mercy smiles and gives a friendly chirp back to Lancaster and Tank.

Linda looks at Mercy and chirps a friendly hello. Maybe she can make a new friend today. She walks over to her and greets Mercy.

Tank and Lancaster both give Mercy a friendly smile then face forward.

Linda chirps to Mercy in a friendly way and goes back to where she was, letting Buckeye take care of her acceptance. She goes back to Tank and helps him move along.

Tank stumbles as he feels pain shoot up his leg and through his neck and back. As Linda helped to support him he chirps a thank you.

Lancaster pads alongside Josephine. He nuzzles her while keeping his eyes on Buckeye. Luckily her back is to them so she didn't notice. Lancaster then smiles at josephine. He promises to continue to keep their relationship a secret so as to not get her evicted but he knows that Buckeye will eventually catch on to their romance.

Luna follows Buckeye back.

ooc: I have a plan. I think that Alice will not live... Luna will kill her.

ic- Linda continues offering help to Tank. Once they're at the Burrow he can rest. Her only injury was a gash on her left hind leg. She was eager to get back to the burrow.

Tank smiles at Linda thankful for her help. he couldn't wait to get back to the burrow. he's so exhausted from the day's events.

Lancaster looks up at the sky as the sun is now getting close to the setting point. He smiles at the beautiful evening colors in the sky.

Mercy walked over to Tank to see if he was okay and whimpered.
